The Comparing of Energy Consumption of Classical and Bio Form of Agricultural Production.
DOHNALOVÁ, Tereza
This work deals with energy consumption in specific farms and their subsequent evaluation and comparison. The theoretical part contains characteristics, evolution and comparison of traditional and organic farming. The practical part contains specific agricultural production even in classical organic agriculture and energy. Then compare the two bodies to each other and norms.
Measurements of selected physical quantities
ROLF, Tomáš
The purpose of this diploma work is researching the time measuring methods. I deal mostly with the historical development of the time measuring but I do not forget describe the present too. Next aim of this work is searching for the connection among three chosen quantities- time, energy, and entropy.
Maize Growing for Energy Generating Purposes
NAVRÁTIL, Martin
In experiment we grown two maize hybrids for energy purpose. Growth was established as small plats. At maize growth main comparable datas were yield and content of dry mass. From outgrowth was selected maize hybrid with bigger yield and better biomass for next energy processing.
Fatigue life estimation using strain energy density
Plánička, F. ; Vacek, V. ; Václavík, Martin
A new approach to the fatigue life estimation has been developed. It is based on the cumulation of energy spent on plastic deformations. Theoretical conclusions are supported by experimental results.
Active contour models in medical image segmentation
Nagy, Ivan ; Szabó, Z.
Active contour models are very suitable to image segmentation. A contour is a set of point which has an energy function. This energy function comes from both internal and external sources. This paper includes internal and external energy definition and a Matlab implementation of active contours.
Renewable sources of energy and fossil fuels - the stage of coexistence
Buchtele, Jaroslav
Production of energy, heat and chemicals can be secured by co-processing of organic wastes and biomass with coal. Co-processing remove landfilling of wastes.
Secondary electron contrast of doped regions in semiconductor
Čižmár, Petr
The aim of the dissertation is study of multi-channel spectroscopy of electrons (secondary, both elastically and non-ellastically reflected as well as the Auger ones) in a scanning electron microscope with respect to the signal-to-noise ratio in detected signals. Another aim is to write software for electronic processing of an image of a specimen providing combined analytical and microscopic information. Verification of the methodology at an ultra-high vacuum microscope with slow electrons, which will be equipped with a parallel hyperbolic electrons analyzer in the scope of the project, is one of main goals of the experimental part.
Effect of different management on development of vegetation, fluxes of energy, water and matter in landscape using case studies of three small catchments
Procházka, J. ; Hakrová, P. ; Pokorný, Jan
Effect of different mamagement practices on ecological functioning of landscape has being studied in three small catchment of Šumava mountains. The highest matter losses in terms of base cations were found in agriculture drained land. Dissipation of solar energy has been evaluated by means of Landsat satellite pictures.
Přínosy a úskalí pěstování energetických rostlin z hlediska toků energie a živin v krajině
Pokorný, Jan
Benefits and limits of production of energetic biomass in terms energy and matter fluxes in nature. In: Proceedings of LEA "How to warm ourselves by biomass: p. 5-8, Praha 576Solar energy is converted by photosynthesis into biomass with an efficiency about 1
