Vichy in the mirror of conscience of the French nation

During the Second World War France was divided into occupied and unoccupied zone. The unoccupied zone was ruled by autonomous regime with official seat in the town of Vichy. Representatives of the Vichist regime collaborated with the Nazis and carried out anti-Jewish policy. After the war General de Gaulle, in order to establish unity, declared the Vichist regime invalid. After the French society was cleared of the war collaborators the Vichy episode was erased from the history of France At the beginning of the seventies in France began to appear tendencies to search the real course of the war occupation period. Shooting the film Le Chagrin et la Pitié or editing the French translation of Rober Paxton's book La France de Vichy may serve as examples. Since the early nineties French intellectuals tried to persuade political representatives to recognize officially the responsibility of France for Vichy crimes. This act was done by President Jacques Chirac in 1995. Simultaneously with discussions on the Vichist past a struggle for fair punishment of war collaborators for crimes against humanity was going on in the French society. Paul Touvier, former militiamen, was sentenced in 1994 and Maurice Papon, former official of the Vichist regime, in 1998.

Fundamental and Technical Analysis of Stock Komerční banka

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the fundamental and technical analysis of stock Komerční banka. After the introduction I concentrate on fundamental analysis, specifically global fundamental, sector fundamental and firm fundamental analysis in which I apply certain models in order to determine the intrinsic value of stock Komerční banka. In the next chapter of the thesis I concentrate on technical analysis of stock Komerční banka, I gradually concentrate on charts, chart's formations and technical indicators in order to determine a suitable time for purchase or sale of stock. The last chapter summarizes the results of both analyses and investment recommendations.

Comparison of Online Marketing Communications in the Czech Republic and Austria

The topic of this diploma thesis is comparison of online marketing communication in the Czech Republic and in Austria. The aim of this thesis to compare online marketing communication in the Czech Republic and Austria, describe its characteristics, identify main differences and analyze essential reasons for the differences. After the introduction part, in the second chapter, the theoretical grounds of marketing communication, internet, its characteristics and history, as well as online marketing communications are described. In the third chapter, both markets are described in detail, in terms of internet users, situation on the marketing communications markets and in terms of media consumption. In the fourth chapter, main common features and differences are analyzed. In the last chapter, the most significant reasons for the differences are analyzed, first in terms of macroeconomic influences, second in terms of the industry itself and third in terms of individual preferences. The main sources for the diploma thesis were theoretical books concerned with marketing communication, online marketing communication and internet, written in Czech, English and German. Furthermore, statistical data of national statistical offices, articles from magazines and online sources, printed and online studies of selected associations or companies as well as interviews with experts are used.

Corporate social responsibility and the methods of its measurement

The first chapter of the thesis is examining the topicality of corporate social responsibility. It pursues the historical progress of the concept, defines the fields of action for CSR, lists the particular activities and analyses the motivation of companies for such behavior. The second chapter attempts to answer the question why should we measure CSR and how should we report sustainability according to GRI standards. It also describes the known methods of CSR measurement in relationship with corporate performance. The third chapter introduces the company Johnson & Johnson. It analyses and rates the most recent company report of sustainability form 2007. In the conclusion the author presents his opinion on the given problems of measurement and reporting CSR activities.

The correspondence of Pavel Papáček with Alois Gallat, Václav Ježek, Josef Poslt and Eduard Strass

This dissertation introduced the correspondence exchanged between Pavel Papáček, Alois Gallat, Václav Ježek, Josef Poslt and Eduard Strass. All of them are bound by their relation to Chrudim. Some of them (Pavel Papáček, Václav Ježek, Eduard Strass) were bom in Chrudim and spent a part of life here, others came to eam their living (Alois Gallat, Josef Poslt). They were all active participants in the social and cultural life of Chrudim or were lively interested in it (Pavel Papáček). The correspondence is placed in an edition and deposited in the Chrudim Regional museum and in the State district archive in Chrudim. It wasn't published so far. Seen in time, the correspondence involves a period from 1888-1930 (the death of Pavel Papáček), whereas some spells are not preserved or remained just as fragments. In the edition it is sorted in alphabetical order according to the names of senders (Alois Gallat, Václav Ježek, Josef Poslt, Eduard Strass) or chronologically, excluding the letters of Pavel Papáček, which are inserted between the above mentioned sections sorted either by the name of the addressee or by time. According to the theme, the letters may be divided into five groups, which correspond to time: until 1922, 1922-1923, 1923-1925, 1926-1928 a 1928-1930. Contribution to study of rivalry between definite article and demonstrative adjective

This theoretical thesis deals with the relationship bertween two kinds of determiners in French: the definite article and the demonstrative adjective. As they have the same distribution, we can call this relationship the rivalry. The present work tries to promote the comprehension of this specific subject by assembling all available theories and other contributions. Chapters are ranged according to their degree of generatization: we start by quite general approaches and progress to more and more specific ones. The first chapter presents the general ground of our theme: noun determination. In the chapter two, we analyze some French grammar books in order to find some reference about the rivalry. The chapter three exposes selected theories that are related to the problem of the rivalry between the definite article and demonstrative adjective. The chapter four presents three classifications of use of demonstrative adjective. Even if this part of work seems not to be in close relation to the main subject, we found in these classifications many observations of the rivalry and that's why we devoted whole chapter to a brief synthesis of classifications. Households' saving in the Czech Republic within framework of life-cycle hypothesis

I analyze saving in Czech Republic from microeconomic view as a saving behaviour of households. I analyze data of "family accounts" from year 2002 in order to be able to compare the results with Life- cycle Hypothesis. Main objective was to find out whether the households after retirement and very young households behave according to the implications of the "basic" Life-cycle Hypothesis. The result of this analyse finds households' behaviour non-compliant with this theory. I made an attempt to find the reasons for these differences. I suggest that saving behaviour of households is affected by strong bequest motive of elderly and some results indicate influence of liquidity constrains and precautionary motive of saving by very young households. Before the end I draw picture of basic structure of households saving. The thesis engages in the analysis of the shopping behaviour of customers in a Norma outlet in Ústí nad Labem. The first chapter indicates the current shopping behaviour of customers in the Czech Republic. The second chapter of the thesis describes the retail network in the city of Ústí nad Labem with an emphasis on the surveyed outlet of Norma. The third chapter focuses on an analysis of the surveyed Norma outlet.

Behaviour disorders and possibilities how to influence them in educational institutions

Moje diplomová práce na téma Poruchy chování a možnosti jejich ovlivňování ve výchovných institucích se zabývá problematikou poruch chování dětí a mladistvých, možnými příčinami jejich vzniku a možnostmi jejich nápravy v institucích. Práce má pět částí. V části první jsou porovnány definice poruch chování různých společenských oborů, které se poruchami chování zabývají. V této části se také zabývám etiologií poruch chování a její důležitostí v další nápravě poruch chování. Také se zabývám pro mne velmi důležitou otázkou souvislosti vývojových stádií, kterými dítě a dospívající procházejí a vznikem poruch chování. Některé projevy problémového chování jsou obvyklé pro jednotlivé vývojové fáze a jednotlivé fáze také bývají senzitivní na různé nedostatky v uspokojování důležitých vývojových potřeb. Ve druhé části jsou poruchy chování setříděny podle několika různých hledisek a také jsou v ní popsány konkrétní projevy poruchového chování. U konkrétních projevů poruchového chování se zabývám otázkou závažnosti chování z pohledu motivace k tomuto chování. Ve třetí části rozebírám charakteristické rysy osobnosti s poruchou chování a jejím sebepojetím. Ve čtvrté části popisuji základní možné teoretické přístupy k nápravě poruch chování z pohledu toho do jaké části dynamiky osobnosti náprava převážně zasahuje. Také...
