The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose measures, that conserve funds of the selected commercial insurance company in connection with insurance frauds. These measures are based on the analysis of insurance frauds development in the selected commercial insurance company and insurance market as well as on informations about fraud management of the selected commercial insurance com-pany. This bachelor thesis contains two main parts. The literature review introduces economy of commercial insurance companies and insurance fraud issues. Own work consists of the analysis, assessing the effectiveness of measures in relation to saved value and proposed measures. Own work ends with discussion of results.

Pojistné podvody v pojištění motorových vozidel

This Bachelor's degree thesis is focused on insurance fraud in the motor insurance. In the first part I present the basic terminology -- liability insurance for motor vehicles and collision damage waiver. Next part is devoted to fraud, insurance fraud and to current legislative. Practical part includes statistical evaluation of insurance fraud considering motor vehicles from 2009 to 2013, followed by comparison of individual regions and also marking the increasing or decreasing tendency within each. Prevention of the insurance fraud is described in the end of the thesis.

Pojistné podvody v podmínkách České a Slovenské republiky a jejich vývojové trendy

The diploma thesis introduces the issue of insurance frauds from the perspective of the Czech and Slovak Republic. An essential part is characteristic of insurance markets of both countries and their specific definitions and their continuities. The elementary terminology in context with the topic is demarcated and attention is paid to the legislation of both countries, with particular emphasis on the Criminal Codes, which classify insurance fraud as an the object of financial crime. The main part of this thesis consists in the construction of regression models and the use of correlation analysis and time series analysis to detect the relationships and the degree of impact of selected indicators on the trend of proven insurance frauds. The expected developments in the near future are formulated and identified trends in the insurance frauds in both countries are faced to mutual comparison.

The thesis deals with the issue of insurance fraud on motor vehicle insurance. Insurance fraud is a serious problem affecting not only insurers, but also the whole society. Insurance fraud is being committed in connection with insurance and participants are both natural and legal persons in order to elicit insurance. Insurers respond to new trends in insurance fraud specialist staff training, creation of specialized teams, investment in new technologies and finding new sources of information for the prevention, detection and disclosure of insurance fraud. In my work to illustrate some cases of insurance fraud, also the tools and options as insurance fraud to detect, prove and make arrangements for the future.

This thesis focuses on the issue of the claims adjustment of selected groups of computer and information technology in a connection with the protection against fraud cases. It describes the process of claim adjustment of innovated technology together with usable remaining parts. There are also suggested methodology procedures and such arrangements that from the practical point of view markedly limit claims costs. In this thesis a great emphasis is put on an individual approach to thinking about particular cases.

The thesis specifies the purpose of hearing the views of legislation and analyzes the system of dealing with loss events on motor vehicles. It deals with the issues, with a focus on system control units for motor vehicles in the particular context of the process of diagnosis of motor vehicles. Based on the information suggests measures to improve the current state of negotiations detection purpose insurers and formulate generalizable practices with the applicable conclusions.
