Building Order Management in the Building Company

This thesis deals with problems concerning the management of construction contracts in the construction business. The work is described in several chapters of the proceedings of orders. First described project "Extension of a commercial building", and I continue to work in the description of contract management. At the end of the contract is evaluated in terms of time and cost perspective.

The diploma thesis deals with the project management issues, specifically the proposal plan for the project of selected company's reallocation. The theoretical part describes elementary knowledge and tools of a project management which are used in following chapters. Analysis of current state is completed via study of opportunities in one of the chapters of practical part of the thesis. And time analysis, resource analysis, cost analysis and also risk analysis is described in chapter that follows. Benefits of the project and thesis as such are mentioned at the end of the thesis.

The Study of Order Processing Through Enterprise

This thesis focusses on how a specific order is processed in a specific company. The analysis is more specifically focussed on heat meters, which make up a substantial part of the company sales. It contains suggestions on how the company could process these orders using a program called Microsoft Project, which could benefit the company in many respects.

The purpose of my bachelors thesis is to help gain an understanding of specific principals, methods, and approaches in setting up construction contracts and applying these components into actual projects. The thesis is divided into two separate parts, the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical segment discusses the general issues which then proceed to be applied to a specific contract.

This bachelor’s thesis is dealing with software support of project planning and defines basic terms related to this subject. Empirical part focuses on time schedules in specialised programmes. For this purpose, reconstruction of a warehouse was used as an example. The aim of this thesis is to describe software products used for the project management and compare them according to specific criteria.

Management of the Construction Project

This thesis is concerned with managing the construction project. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of the project life cycle, scheduling and its tools. The second part is the practical part, deals with the application of project management firm ZemiBau Ltd. in particular organizational structure construction, responsibility matrix, selection of subcontractors and time management through the construction schedule. The Company made several major changes before completion. In conclusion of this section are designed to define schedules and planning in various software and subsequent evaluation.

Usage of freeware project management tools in the Czech Republic

The purpose of this thesis is to discover in what scale freeware project management tools are used in the Czech Republic. The specific goal of this thesis is to verify whether these two hypotheses are true: Freeware project management tools are not used by majority of organizations in the Czech Republic. Freeware project management tools do not reach the functionality level of commercial software. This objective is achieved firstly by making a survey in the whole state scale in the field of information and communication technology and secondly by evaluating the most widely used freeware project management tools, based on the survey, by their functionality level and by considering their ability to replace commercial software. The contribution of this thesis is to discover the actual state of project management tools usage in the Czech Republic, to introduce these facts to the companies at this market and to define the functionality level of presently used freeware project management tools. The structure of this thesis is based on three parts. The first part refers to general information about project management such as its terms, usage, processes, factors that affect goals of a project, methodologies and tools. The second part involves the analysis of project management tools usage in the Czech Republic. The third part provides the most widely used freeware project management tools evaluation analysis.

Alternativní přístupy k plánování a řízení projektu zavedení IS/ICT systému

Hlavním tématem práce je problematika plánování a řízení projektů v oblasti IS/ICT projektů. Tato oblast se poměrně dynamicky vyvíjí a vznikají nové přístupy k řízení a plánování projektů. Hlavním cílem práce je porovnat několik standardně používaných metod s jednou z novějších metod ? Kritický řetěz. Zároveň je snaha přiblížit softwarový produkt, který je na základě této metody založen a podporuje řízení projektů pomocí této metody. Práce je situována do reálného prostředí a srovnává dané metody na reálném projektu implementace IS/ICT projektu. Práce je rozdělena do několika částí. První popisuje daný projekt. Ukazuje výchozí stav a problémy, které by měl projekt vyřešit. Také popisuje cílový stav a činnosti, které je nutné vykonat, aby ho bylo dosáhnuto.Druhá část je teoretické zázemí, které popisuje jednotlivé metody. V další části je samotná aplikace metod při plánování projektu. Předposlední část se věnuje průběhu projektu a ukazuje, jak se projekt vyvíjel. Tato část je doplněna reporty z jednotlivých softwarových nástrojů. V poslední části jsou zhodnoceny jednotlivé metody a na základě toho přijaty závěry, jaké postupy je při plánování a řízení IS/ICT projektů dobré přijmout.
