With the evolution of "Web 2.0", sometimes called the "Participative Web", represented by user-generated content (UGC), and also with the evolution of peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing and recently cyberlockers, the effectiveness of copyright protection online has become a problem where solutions can be found only with difficulty. This diploma thesis deals with a theme which is very modern nowadays. Development Centre is a program composed by a set of methods aimed to employees development. With a view to results of DCs an individua! developing pian for participant can be created. This pian can help the participant to reach desirable level of his abilities, knowledge and skills. The advantage is to associate DCs with wellestablished HR strategies like Performance Management, Talent Management, Career Planning etc. The purpose of this work is to attempt to map the subject of DCs in its whole width and present what can this technique offer, point out its advantages and disadvantages, try to critically introduce what we can expect from this technique and what cannot be awaited.

Mortgages in Czech republic

This diploma thesis discusses about possibilities of housing financing and is especially focusing on mortgage market in Czech Republic. First part of this thesis has theoretical character and describes different types of housing: property housing, cooperative housing and rental housing and their specific features. This part also contains general characteristics of the basic ways of housing financing: building saving and mortgages. Besides, building savings is here compared with mortgages and there are described advantages and disadvantages of those both possibilities of housing financing. In this part there are also put examples of "future mortgages", which are not offered by Czech banks yet. The second part of the diploma thesis is focusing its attention on actual world crisis. Defines reasons of its origin, describes its impact on European and Czech economy. Also, discusses about impact the actual crisis has on estate market and market with loans and mortgages in Czech Republic. The third part of the thesis is concerned on standard procedure while disposing the mortgage and contains short example of buying an apartment by fictive person.

Analysis of development of the concept of microfinance in the Czech nonprofit sector

Abstract This thesis deals with the concept of microfinance and its development in the Czech nonprofit sector. In the first part the author deals with a brief description of this concept and its historical development over the last fifty years. Followed by analysis of itself, that tries to deal with the fact that despite the rapid global development of this worldwide phenomenon, microfinance in the Czech Republic is still a relatively new phenomenon. Author attempted semi structured interviews to map key players in the industry, discover their interests, attitudes, resources, and their declared objectives. The main point of the analysis is myElen.com, Czech internet portal, which is pretty much the main driver of all the happenings in the field of microfinance in this country. In conclusion the author offers an evaluation of analytical findings and suggests possible future steps to further exploration, as well as recommends the most appropriate steps in policy-making.

Foreign exchange risk management in the company IMP Jablonec

The diploma paper offers a complex view on hedging of a foreign exchange risk in a concrete company, which is highly dependent on export. Preliminary theoretical part sums up all the possibilities how to avoid risk, including hedging or financial derivatives. Specific attention is paid to in practise always more popular option strategies. Practical part then try to apply all the acquired knowledge on a concrete company. After the complex analysis of revenues and expenditures is presented analysis and evaluation of the whole hedging strategy.

Customer realationship management and nets of independent applications

The objective of this thesis is to study the concept of software confederations (networks of independent applications, NIA) orientated on its utilization in the field of customer relationship management (CRM) and the enterprise information systems. The opening chapters of the thesis specify the meaning of CRM, present the evolvement of CRM systems and clarify their internal structure and provided features. The insight into the CRM subject terminates with extensive survey of CRM systems which are being sold within the Czech Republic. The following chapters explain the conception of NIA and evaluate advantages and disadvantages of contemporary technologies for building NIA. The equivalence between NIA and SOA-based solutions is recognized. The final chapters discuss the speciffic limitations and possible benefitss of NIA in the CRM fields.

Content management system and its application

This diploma thesis is about content management systems, in particular the open source system Drupal, which is aimed at publishing on the internet. It offers a reader the insight into the area of the content management systems, it explains the criteria of sorting them into groups, it provides a guide to selection the proper content management system. To a reader, the latest version (6) of the Drupal system is introduced. The system is critically evaluated. For the purpose of this paper a web site was created together with the description of its creation. Thanks to this, the reader can learn, how to work with the system. It can be beneficial, because there is not enough literature for Drupal. At the end a new module is made, together with the explanation of its creation.

Competition in the Aviation Market

The thesis titled Competition in the Aviation Market contains issues of competition in the market for passenger air transport services in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the major airlines operating in the market of scheduled air transport, particularly on Czech Airlines and Travel Service. These airlines are engaged in their introduction, description of their services,
the development of selected indicators and SWOT analysis. For Czech Airlines characterizes cooperation with Asian airline, Korean Air. The thesis also describes the competition from other perspectives as well as major trends in air transport.
The theoretical part of thesis includes explanations of basic terms of the solved problem, namely the introduction of air transportation, airlines and theories in the field of competition.
Own works will contain a description of specific airlines, analyzing their offers, the development of the main indicators, SWOT analysis and trends in air transportation. The final section is devoted to the evaluation of the results.

Vývoj intranetu společnosti Siemens s.r.o.

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na intranet společnosti Siemens s.r.o. Zaprvé je v práci souhrn teoretických znalostí z oblasti podnikových informačních systému a jejich následná aplikace na vybranou společnost. Je zde popsán vývoj intranetu společnosti Siemens s.r.o. Dále dochází ke zhodnocení aktuálního stavu podnikového informačního systému. Práce analyzuje systém jak z pohledu uživatele, tak i ze strany editora. Na základě poznatků získaných z dotazníku vyplněného zaměstnanci jsou zde uvedeny návrhy na vylepšení celého systému, a to návrh SMS aplikace, online nástěnky a integrace intranetu celé společnosti. V závěru dochází ke zhodnocení navržených vylepšení a jejich náročnosti na implementaci.

Sensitivity analysis of the energy rating of buildings

The master´s thesis was focused on parametric computer simulations of the energy performance of buildings. The aim is to determine the sensitivity of the individual operating and climatic influences on the final energy demand of the building, which will be reflected in final form Et-curve. Parametric simulation for building energy efficiency is planned to use the BSim and ready climatic database for a specific location in place of the assessed building. The outcome of the evaluation of the real use of property in Et-curve using a custom application.
