The machinery for open air space and building maintenance

This bachelor thesis has mainly an analytical character and summarizes the results of an extensive survey of the market made by author. Its aim is to provide an overview of the machines mostly used for the maintenance of the free areas and objects and to briefly describe the activities and works performed by them. Further the machines for the maintenance of the airports surfaces, sporting grounds, green belts and objects are described.
First part of the thesis describes the analysis of the activities carried out during this maintenance, whereas in the second one the author pays attention to the typical examples of the machines and appliances used for this maintenance, to their technical parameters and use values. The third part deals with the assessment of the machines from various aspects, the procedures for an expert evaluation of the machines are designed and the expected trends of the future development outlined

The Public Procurement for the Supplies

The thesis deals with the theme of procurement of supplies in the Czech Republic from its beginnings to the present in the context of legal and economic developments. The current situation is analyzed on the basis of the Public Procurement Act, in connection with monitoring the preparation and adoption of new legislation. Legal issues will be extended by an overview of relevant laws and evaluate the problems in the formation of tender documents for the conclusion of framework agreements for the supply and reviewing compliance with the principles of the Act on financial control in public administration. Theme in the application of profiling on public procurement, focusing on a framework agreement designed to capture recurring delivery. The study is supplemented with practical experience in the field of public procurement for the conclusion of framework agreements, provides an analysis of the positive and negative aspects of this method of procurement, including proposed solutions. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of a comparison of the specific tender documents with the statutory legislation, qualitative research and secondary data analysis of tender documents for contracts to supply a valid framework contracts signed by the selected organization in the years 2012-2016.

The overview and the evaluation of the technical specifications of transparent materials for the production of composite wood panels

Work includes: general introduction to the components of the wood-based panels with a transparent layer, the history of their production. It includes requirements for individual components of composite wood panels and requirements for wood and other wood-based materials, which serve as reinforcement. Also mentions claims potting material, which serves as a matrix.
It includes a description of the technology of wood-based panels with a transparent layer. This paper introduces the most commonly used material serving as a matrix, their distinctive characteristics essential for the production of composite plates. Compares parameters resins based on polyester, polyurethane and epoxy resins and analyzes the choice of a suitable material for producing a composite board based on user requirements. Part of this work is to design materials for the manufacture of composite board with controlled light distribution.

Life cycle and documentation of student projects

The aim of this work is to describe and compare student projects by time, range, sources, benefits, risks and quality and suggest possible ways of improvement in planning and organizing of these projects. First part of the work introduced theoretical overview in area of project management and the terms used in case study are listed and described. At first, there are described obtained information about specific projects that are the subject of comparison. From this information was analysed the state of use of the project management tools and the life cycle of student projects. This analysis shows information important to following comparison. Then, it was examined which factors positively or negatively influences the planning and organizing of projects. Subsequently, the proposal was drawn up to enhance the positive effects and reduce negative impacts on student projects. As an additional study then came the analysis of students' interest in participating in the Contest of Student Projects organized by the Department of Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Life Sciences in Prague.

Breeding of Eastern Rosellas in European Climate Conditions

Summary
This work is aimed at parrot breeding of genus Rossella in Europe, in different climatic conditions than the conditions in the Southeast and South Australia where the birds come from. Here, you can find overview of their occurrence in nature, evaluation of biotope, feeding and information on breeding in human custody.
Eastern Rosellas (Platycersus eximius) live in pairs and each pair is very protective
of their own nesting teritory. Outside of the nesting season, Rosellas are moving around the land in small groups.
In nature, these parrots eat grain from grass or weeds, seeds from bushes, trees
and of course fruit.
The nesting season starts around february and lasts until august. In nature Rosellas nest in hollow trees, branches, tree stumps, columns, on top of fence post and even in rabbit holes.
The best option when it comes to breeding Rosellas, is an outside aviary, which best represents their natural habitat. European winter causes them little to no trouble, the same goes for severe frost, which allows for year-round stay in the outside aviary.
Rosellas have the similar eating habits as their parrot brethren, meaning sunflower seeds, millet, panic grass, canary and oat. An important supplement in their daily diet is green feed(ing), fresh fruit and vegetable, branches to nibble on, mineral substances, and fresh drinking water. During the nesting season and while with young, it is necessary to feed
the birds an egg mixture, it is an important source of protein.
Breeding of Rosellas is fairly effortless, they can easily nest even in small spaces. Ideal size of their bird house would be 25 x 25 x 60 - 70 cm with a fly-in entrance of 7 - 8 cm. It is necessary to hang the bird houses as high as possible in the protected part of aviary. Female lays 5 - 7 white colored eggs, on which she sits 21 - 22 days. Young birds leave
the nest in age between 28 - 35 days and then, are are partly fed additional 10 - 14 days by
the male.
Among the most frequent diseases of this species of pet birds belong those non contagious, e.g. hypovitaminosis, uricosis and, furthermore parasitical ones and pathogens as well as other contagious diseases or feather abnormalities, such as the so called French defeathering.
Breeding of Rosellas does not require an experienced breeder. With proper care, Rosellas can live up to 25 - 30 years and remain fertile their whole lives.

The Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of activities and competencies of the Customs
Administration of the Czech Republic as armed security force within protection of
endangered plants and animals. Bachelor thesis introduces international trade in
endangered plants and animals, legislative protection options (CITES Treaty, EU/ES law
and law of the Czech Republic) and its application in the Czech Republic, the specific
ways and means of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic in order to detect
illegal activities, presently - an overview of discovered illegal activities by Customs
Administration of the Czech Republic for the years 2011 - 2015, assessment of trends
and developments in the context of smuggling endangered species, most smuggled
species, offenders, methods, covers, penalties, draft of prevention tools and evaluation of
the current situation.

Evaluation of soil variability based on measuring the soil electrical conductivity.

The aim of this diploma thesis was to verify the new capabilities for mapping variability of soil using measurement platforms mounted on machines for tillage.
The chapter Soil describes types of soil in the Czech Republic, the causes of soil variability and the methods of spatial interpolation. The chapter Mapping Spatial Variability of Land focuses on the method of determining the variability of soil properties through direct and indirect methods, selection of locations for collection of soil samples, methods of measuring electrical conductivity and an overview of options for mapping, mainly via on-the-go sensors. The last part of the literary research is entitled Geographic Information System where I have described the purpose and uses of this system in precise farming. The subsequent practical part of the diploma thesis focuses on evaluation
of the level of variability of farm land based on measuring of soil conductivity via a galvanic contact method of measuring and its subsequent comparison during use of an EM 38 MK2 soil conductivity probe. The conclusion contains a summary of the thesis and evaluation
of the level of agreement between the obtained data files.

Verification of project „Park za sv. Jakubem v Klatovech“

City council of Klatovy town in the Czech Republic submitted a contract for a new town park project on the place called "Za sv. Jakubem" in 2005. Studio SILVEX represented by Ing. Pavel Borusík won this contract and created a feasibility study as the first step of the project documentation. Till now the study has not been realized because of problematic ownership issues within the concerned area.
This diploma thesis strives to solve the question of the up-to-dateness of that project which has been suspended for ten years by now. The main subjects of this thesis have been the project content evaluation, verification of up-to-dateness and to design a new solution respecting current and future needs of the city inhabitants and park users.
Literary overview of the current state of the problem deals with public space areas characteristics, city park characteristics, graveyard characteristics including types of graveyards, burials, graves, burial history in the Czech Republic and Jewish cemeteries. The thesis addresses with the impact of the death on survivors and greenery effects as a green place useful for meditation. The graveyard topic is elaborated because of the geographical distance of Klatovy's town's graveyard to the intended park area.
Evaluation of detailed data provides the fundamental information about Klatovy and the park place, brief contents and main thoughts of feasibility study "Za sv. Jakubem", own verification of the available documentation including changes in the property relations.
All together it had served as a basis for designing new park concept proposal, which responds adequately to demands of park users. The project by Studio SILVEX proposes park place with purely town meaning, containing children playground, in-line skating track and other sport activities. The diploma thesis's park concept transforms the project with focus on scenery locations and relax place for visitors of the nearby town graveyard.

Evaluation of efficiency of selected regional branches of CSO

In today's dynamically changing times, the main objective of organizations operating in the private and public sphere is efficiency maximizing. This thesis has been based on this assumption. The main aim of this work is to provide on the specific case an evaluation of the efficiency by using methods of multiple-criteria decision-making in the public sector. The rating of individual regional offices of the Czech Statistical Office, substantially participating in data collecting by performing statistical surveys, is presented in this work, using the method of Data Envelopment Analysis. The thesis can be divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical preparation. This part describes the basic terms connected with the topic of the effectiveness evaluation and a theoretical description of the method the processing is based on. The second part describes the processing itself. At the beginning of this part, there is a brief overview of the activities of the Czech Statistical Office, which is followed by an overview of the statistical survey areas. Then, based on selected inputs and outputs, the efficiency is evaluated.
