Legal instruments of energy efficiency
Kudlík, Leoš ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor) ; Sobotka, Michal (referee)
Legal instruments of energy efficiency Abstract and key words The diploma thesis deals with energy efficiency as a unique source of energy. The subject of this thesis is to specify key legal instruments of energy efficiency, i.e. conceptual, administrative and economical instruments. The diploma thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introductory chapter, being called Energy Policy, there is a brief outline of the background of energy politics on both the international and EU level, including environmental protection. This introductory chapter also ranks the Czech Republic among countries with high energy performance. Energy efficiency is the opportunity to lower its energy performance. The second chapter, Legal Instruments of Energy Efficiency, defines legal instruments of energy efficiency as a part of environmental protection. This chapter is a general one; the instruments are concretized in the following chapters. In addition, this chapter focuses on the principle of sustainable development, as well as issues related to human factor, climate conditions and rebound effect. The third chapter, called Conceptual Instruments, provides further information relating to conceptual strategies of energy efficiency. For the EU conceptions, key directives are mentioned to regulate energy efficiency, namely the...
Evaluation of the Economic Efficiency of the Vineyard Planting
Vitouch, Jan ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Ptáček, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to economically evaluate the effectiveness of the investment project of Winery X from Hustopece to planting the vineyard and compare it with the alternative variants of the implementation of this project with respect to the findings. The result of this comparison will then be the design of the optimal variant of the investment in the planting of vineyards for the Winery X. The bachelor thesis has two basic parts. The literary research introduces the problems of viticulture with a focus on the issue of obtaining raw materials for wine production and evaluation of investment efficiency. The actual work consists of quantification of capital expenditures and operating costs associated with grape acquiring and harvesting. In connection with the above objective, the costs, the return on investment, the net present value of the investment, and the internal rate of return to the different possibilities of wine grape acquiring are also evaluated.

Collection of exercises of financial mathematics for high schools
ŠACHLOVÁ, Kamila
This bachelor thesis is focused on solved tasks from financial mathematics. Chosen tasks were complemented with possible use of modern technology (internet calculators, spreadsheet Microsoft Excel and a computational knowledge engine Wolfram Alpha). A collection of tasks is intended for high schools and contains these topics: inflation, exchange rate, interest (simple and compound, decursive and anticipative), loans, APR, mortgage, savings (short-term, long-term and combined) and financial products with state support. The basis for creating tasks is Framework Education Programme for Secondary General Education. The tasks were created with emphasis on the development of key competences in accordance with FEP SGE.

Assessment of the measure reducing heat loss residential building
Vašíř, Jan ; Chýlek, Radomír (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
Objectives of this thesis are analysis of measurements to decrease energetical consumption of buildings and efficiency calculation of measurements made to concrete apartment building. Thesis is thematically devieded into for parts. First part is theory determinating baisic therminology. Heat conduction and its meaning for heat loss in houses is described in this part. In second part is described meaning of thermal insulation and contains analysis of market with materials including suitability of materials for thermal insulation and windows. In third part is described house which is examined in the thesis. Last fourth part contains calculation consumption of heat and examines why was not fulfiled assuption of designed savings. Financial calculation of how much money was saved and when the investmen was retruned. In this part is also estimated mass of CO2 gas emited by thermaly insulated house versus state in which house is not thermly insulated.
Heat loss of buildings and proposals for measures to eliminate them
Nguyen Khac, Hoang ; Poláčik, Ján (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with calculations of heat loss in buildings and proposals of meas-urements. Thesis is divided into 5 chapters. In the first one there are reasons to insulate buildings, the process of material selection and furthermore there are descriptions of each materials used as insulation materials. In the second chapter there is the description of the model house, which is analysed in the thesis. The third one is about the calculation proce-dure. In the fourth chapter there is the proposal of reconstruction and in the last, fifth chapter there is an evaluation of reconstruction from financial standpoint.
Investigation of impact of radiant heating and cooling on car driver thermal comfort
Pavlík, Vojtěch ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the matter of radiation heating, thermal comfort maintenance and setting optimal operation parameters for heating system equipped with radiation panels. The research section summarizes the effects most important for thermal comfort, methods of its determination, heat exchange distribution between the human body and its environment, and technical possibilities of heating car interiors. The central points of this work are the simulation of car interiors heated with radiation panels and the evaluation of thermal comfort with a virtual mannequin. Thermal state was determined via the equivalent temperature and thermal comfort zones diagram (method by O.H. Nilsson). Forty-two simulated scenarios led us to conclude that thermal comfort is not possible to obtain with panels exuding a maximum temperature of 43 °C and the combination of several heat sources is required. Nevertheless radiation heating considerably contributes to energy savings without the loss of thermal comfort in assessed car.
