Počáteční potenciál redukce kyslíku v alkalických palivových článcích
Vondrák, Jiří ; Velická, Jana ; Barath, P. ; Sedlaříková, M. ; Kazelle, J. ; Kliment, J.
The onset potential of oxygen reductin was defined as the potential, below which the electroreduction of oxygen is possible. This value can be used for the comparison of various electrocatalysts. The method was tested on several carbonaceous materials onto which the same amount of platinum was deposited.
Materials for positive electrodes of fuel cells
Novák, V. ; Brudná, S. ; Barath, P. ; Vondrák, Jiří ; Sedlaříková, M.
New development in non-platinum electrocatalysts for oxygen electrode in alkaline fuel cell.
Charakterizace protonově vodivých fosfosilikátových membrán pro palivové články H2/O2
Míka, M. ; Mašínová, M. ; Švarcová, S. ; Paidar, M. ; Bouzek, K. ; Klápště, Břetislav ; Vondrák, Jiří
We tested the performance of our membranes in a H2/O2 fuel cell using standard E-TEK electrodes Pt/C under low humidity conditions where the reactant gas streams were not humidified.
Elektrokatalyzátory na bázi oxidů manganu a uhlíku pro reakci ORR v alkalickém prostředí
Roche, I. ; Chainet, E. ; Chatenet, M. ; Vondrák, Jiří
The aim of the present paper is to elucidate, in complement of the activity evalution, the ORR mechanism on these electrocatalysts in alkaline medium.
Integration of Biomass Gasification with High Temperature Fuel Cells
Svoboda, Karel ; Hartman, Miloslav ; Baxter, D. ; Hunter, Ch.
This contribution gives information about possibilities of efficient production of fuel gas for high temperature fuel cells (SOFC or MCFC) by biomass gasification, esp. in fluidized beds, about efficient fuel gas cleaning, requirements and practical limits of fuel gas purity and effects of basic operating parameters on the efficiency of fuel gas production. The overall efficiency of power production based on biomass gasification with steam cycle, combined cycle and cycles exploiting high temperature fuel cells is estimated.
Bifunctional Electrode for Fuel Cells
Novák, V. ; Vondrák, Jiří
We were prepared five samples of electrocatalyst by a chemical reaction of the potassium permanganate and the carbon black. These samples were doped, except for one, by the salts of divalent Mn, Mg, Ni and Zn metals.
Hydrogen/Oxygen Fuel Cells
Vondrák, Jiří ; Sedlaříková, M. ; Černý, R. ; Klápště, Břetislav
The electrochemical low temperature fuel cells have appeared in the focus of interest recently in many institutions. e have studied the properties of various catalysts and electrolytes with the aim to do a screening of possible replacements of platinum catalysts and exchanging membranes.
Oxygen Gas Electrode for Fuel Cells
Závodský, R. ; Dočkal, M. ; Sedlaříková, M. ; Vondrák, Jiří
The catalytic electrode composites based on manganese oxide, carbon and binder were tested in this work. The aim of this work was to optimize the amount of polymeric binder and to test the performance of the positive electrode in a model fuel cell containing KOH as the electrolyte.
