Air cargo transportation

This thesis discusses the issues in the air freight industry. Firstly, it generally outlines the history of air freight with its important conventions about the rules of operation of aeroplanes, people transportation, freight traffic and safety of this dynamically growing business. The main focus is on the air freight. Furthermore, it considers the actions of haulers and different forms and types of air freight. It also explains the mechanics of pricing and influence of factors affecting expedience and inexpedience of this type of transport. The essay also mentions types of luggage and transport of specialized goods and items. Specific examples are considered when comparing price accessibility and expedience of air freight with different types of goods traffic.

Health Education at the Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia - history and simultaneity

The thesis represents the pivotal data and incentives for establishing the Department of Health Education and its history at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of South Bohemia to the end of 2010. It includes material collected in chronological order, which can be used by students at the USB during their studies of history in the field of health education. The individual parts of the thesis can also be used for the department's website. Apart from that, this thesis can be continued in the future, which would contribute to the gradual creation of a chronicle of the Department of Health Education. The thesis uses a direct method and also framework analysis concerning the subsequent work with the material, its categorisation and reduction. Other methods are diachronic and progressive procedures, which are chiefly characterised by a chronological description of events. The main contribution of my thesis is based on processing of facts and substruction of the development's dynamic of Department of Health Education for five-year period in chronological order.The results will be applied for spreading of informations on the website after finishing my bachelor's thesis.

Document Management Solution in Coface Czech

The object of this work is the document management in the Czech subsidiary of the multinational corporation. This work will describe and analyze the current situation and propose appropriate solutions for the document management issues. It will introduce the reader to the document management issues and explain the basic functions and principles of the document management system. Subsequently it develops a description and analysis of the current condition that has many deficiencies and causes different kinds of problems in handling the documents. Based on the identified deficiencies and problems with respect to the relation with the IT consulting company managers it is prepared to address the requirements. Individual solutions include procedures that should help to transform the inefficient state of the document management. The conclusion brings the evaluation of alternative solutions and actions that should be made regardless of the choice for the solutions.

Comparing approaches to digitisation of documents in companies

The present Bachelor thesis is focused on the document flow system from conception or admission of documents to the company to their keeping. In particular, the present thesis indicates which documents are passing through the company, who of the employees is working with them, which of the documents are being transformed into a digital medium, which form of document continues to be used within the company (digital or paper format) and which are the benefits of digitisation of documents for the company's employees. In order to provide a comparison, this thesis will describe two companies of different sizes. The introduction explains the terms used in this thesis to which the people can, and often do, attribute other meaning. The following part describes the two observed companies and all the data concerning the documents being used by them which I have already mentioned in this chapter. The final part contains a comparison between the two companies, in particular as regards documents flow and assessment by employees of documents digitisation.

Effective document management is one of the essential problems of every company. By this the work efficiency will be increased, costs reduced and thus will increase the profitability of the company. In this bachelor work author analyses document management in a small manufacturing company, which occupies herself with a production and sale of textile goods, and resulting their optimalization. Partners let author make analysis and proposal of optimalization their system because they realize that this situation is ineffective.

Digital documents library

The goal is to program an application that allows managing and searching electronic documents. Applications must provide a record of documents over the web. The application can record as individual documents, and documents that are packaged in ZIP archive. We can assign metadata using inserting or updating to individual documents. Application can search for documents using the full-text searching or searching based on their metadata. After searching you can export a single document or group of documents in a ZIP archive. Digital library must have an interface for communication with the library system of third parties. Using this interface, you can use the search functionality of the application and the subsequent return of results. Another use interface is information the library system with new digital increments.

Analysis of accredited study programs "German language for the 2nd grade at basic school"

The aim of the thesis is an analysis of Czech university study programs for teaching German language at the 2nd grade basic schools and comparison of the results. Information about development of Czech educational policy since 1989 is summarized in the theoretical section, where I also presented the most important documents affecting current educational policy as well as the language policy. The practical part is dedicated to the study itself. All universities keep their study programs in line with the Bologna process, conceived as structured. The subject of my analysis is Bachelor's degree and follow-up master's degree study. I have chosen only a specific part of the field, which is devoted to preparing students for German language teaching at basic schools. Emphasis is placed on the comparison of offered subjects, thematic composition of subjects and the way of obtaining didactic knowledge and teaching skills.

Creation of a Scientific Publication

This contribution aims to unveil the backstage of preparation, writing and creation of a scientific publication using the example of the book titled Grey Literature Repositories, to be published towards the end of 2010. This paper will describe individual phases of coming into existence of a scientific publication, the work of the authors and the editor, but will also emphasize the importance of selecting a reliable publishing house, translator, book designer, etc. The aim of the presentation is to share the experience of producing a scientific publication.

An Analysis of Current Grey Literature Document Typology

This analysis is based on the classification of the international systems GreyNet, (the Grey Literature Network Service), OpenSIGLE, (the System for Information on Grey Literature in Europe), and the Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR), as well as focusing on national schemata in the Czech Republic, namely ASEP (Register of Publication Activity of the AS CR), NRGL (National Repository of Grey Literature), and RIV (Information Register of R & D Results). During the analysis of the lists of document types, we have discovered that these typologies contain, besides “real” document types (reports, theses, etc.) other aspects, such as events (arrangement, organization), types of events (conferences, speeches), producers (universities, institutes), processes (translations, output), content (political documents, legal texts), location (domestic, foreign), and format (e-texts, numeric data). However, this approach is not systematic. Therefore, we have decided to create a classification scheme for document types only, and classify other aspects into various groups in order to define them more precisely. The scheme will be processed in a text version as well as schematically in mind maps.
