Automated Exam Generation System
Kapusta, Vlastimil ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Barabas, Maroš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes graphic design, used technology and implementation of the automated exam generation system. As the implementation language was chosen Java programming language. This thesis deals with usage of the Swing GUI component library and with using Insubstantial and SwingX libraries which extend the Swing library. Important part of this thesis is connecting Java and document preparation system LaTeX. Result is an application that allows creating exams. It is also possible to store and load unfinished exams and export them into tex or pdf format.
Graphical Simulation of Finite Automata
Šrajer, Roman ; Goldefus, Filip (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis is about the theory of converting regular expression to finate state machine and vice versa. The goal of practical part is to make web application that performs these coversions and do simulation for input string. For converting automata into regular expression it is used the algebraic method which is based on making an equation system to be solved. I have chosen Java as programming language and Java Applet and Java Web Start as technologies that make possible to access the application through the web page. The possibilities like working with three types of automata views, saving atomatons into XML and intuitively creating own automatons are the important part of the application.
Stemming Methods Used in Text Mining
Adámek, Tomáš ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The main theme of this master's thesis is a description of text mining. This document is specialized to English texts and their automatic data preprocessing. The main part of this thesis analyses various stemming algorithms (Lovins, Porter and Paice/Husk). Stemming is a procedure for automatic conflating semantically related terms together via the use of rule sets. Next part of this thesis describes design of an application for various types of stemming algorithms. Application is based on the Java platform with using of graphic library Swing and MVC architecture. Next chapter contains description of implementation of the application and stemming algorithms. In the last part of this master's thesis experiments with stemming algorithms and comparing the algorithm from viewpoint to the results of classification the text are described.
Design of childerns playground elements
Slováková, Eliška ; Paliatka, Peter (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
Main subject of this work is design of childrens playgroung elements. In this work there is also presented analysis of existent theme. I have designed a few variations, from which I chose the best solution. This solution I worked out in technical, aesthetic and ergonomical aspects. Designed elements match current requirements of safety standards.
Methods for biomedical image signal segmentation in Java
Románek, Jakub ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis contains two main parts, theoretical and implementation. In the theoretical part, there are described the different segmentation methods. Mainly it is about description method Level Set. The aim of practical part was to create a java module for segmentation of biomedical images using Level Set methods. The work solves example of a simple GUI for the display of results.
JavaFX2 and Swing
Čapek, Ondřej ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals mainly with the JavaFX2 library and its innovations. An aim is to acquaint readers with wider possibilities and help them with a transition from Swing to JavaFX2. In the thesis there are gone into benefits JavaFX2 which is accompanied by a source code examples for an illustration. A part of the thesis is also an application which shows differences between Swing and JavaFX2 both a graphical view as well as a viewing of the source code. Most of the information contained in this work is also on a web site http://www.javafx2-swing.cz/, which serves as a guide for JavaFX2 library and where it is possible to download the application. The work is begun with an explaining a JavaFX platform. Then there is mentioned JavaFX2 benefits which enrich a programming in Java. The following chapter contains the basic components of JavaFX2 library. Finally graphical innovations including 3D are described. The work is finished by differences between Swing and JavaFX2 components and a cooperation of these two environments.
Developing desktop Java applications with rich GUI
BÁLEK, Petr
This work aims to show examples of the advanced options that offer longer supplied as standard Java packages, where the greatest emphasis is placed on the package javax.swing and java.awt. In this work, of course, created and given exemplary examples that are built on the above packages. Circuits, which work as the animation, effects static and dynamic convolution filters, gradients, alpha composition, and other another topics.
Metroklub dance-orchestra
ŠULISTOVÁ, Hana
This thesis is separeted into two parts. First deals with progress of Czech modern pop music and jazz from 40th till present with focus on swing music. Second part is devotes to the Metroklub dance-orchestra, its history and progress from WW II till present. This part focuses also on tranformation under the repertoire, public activity and also on individual members of this band.
Comparison of the development of graphical user interface in Swing and wxWidgets
Hrubý, Jan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Kureš, Richard (referee)
Thesis deals with comparison of two popular programming libraries for the creating the graphical user interface. First is Swing where it is used Java language and the second is wxWidgets in C++. The main goal of my thesis is objectively compare strong and weak points of these two libraries concerning about factors like rapidity of development, platform independent, rapidity of user interface, facility of globalization, development of new components and creation of distribution programme. This comparison can make easier the choice of library for specific project and thank to using simple and practical examples, it is easier to understand and adopt mechanism of these libraries. Thesis is divided into Swing part and wxWidgets part. Each part starts with description of a way how the library is used. I will demonstrate implementation of simple application and creation of new user interface components. At the end I will write general comparison of both libraries according to established criteria.
