Marriage, divorce and birth rate in CR districts

This diploma thesis deals with an analysis of marriage, divorce and birth rate in districts of the Czech republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, there is a theoretical introduction to the issues and the second part is devoted to the analysis itself. Besides defining aim of the thesis and a description of the used metodology, the theoretical part contains professional literature review and explanation of the basic terms. The practical part describes and explains trends and changes in the development of marriage, divorce and birth rate in regions of CR in the period from 1950 to 2014. Based on the latest available data the next part describes territorial differences of CR districts in the values of monitored indicators. Analysis discovers development trends and territorial differentiation of demographic processes and their key factors.
Comparison of demographic development in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic

The topic of my diploma thesis is an analysis and comparison of basic demographic processes, both in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, in the years 1993-2014. The subject is the status of the population, especially in terms of structure by age, sex and economic activity. Thesis makes a comparison of demographic processes - birth rate, mortality, abortion, marriage, divorce rate and migration. The thesis analyzes the resulting differences and looks for their causes. Selected demographic processes are predicted into the future; the next development is estimated with help of basic trend functions. The conclusion proposes some possible recommendations which could revert the negative future trends.
Demographic profile of the cities of Prague and Bratislava

Prague and Bratislava historically were located in one country. Nowadays, Prague and Bratislava have been more than 20 years capital city of two neighbored countries. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create demographic profile of these two capital cities. Demography is science about the population and its reproduction due to indexes e.g. natality, abortions and mortality. Demography is wide range science and therefore this bachelor thesis is focused beside the indexes mentioned also focused on marriage, divorce and migration indexes. There is also economic point of view and indexes as unemployment and average gross salary. The theoretical part of the thesis is about these indexes and its description. The practical part of the thesis shows us practical using and implementation and comparison of these indexes in both Prague and Bratislava. The prediction and development of demography indexes in future are mentioned in the end of the bachelor thesis. The data for the purpose of this bachelor thesis were collected from Czech and Slovak Statistical office. The graphs were created and described based on the sources data.

This work covers the divorce of the population of Czechia, its development in time and the spatial differentiation. The gathering of the statistical data on the divorce in the Czech Republic, that is required for the analysis of the change in its rate and timing, is the aim of this work. The fundamental indicators of this demographic process are an indispensable part of the work. The development trends of the divorce in the population, which correlate with the liberalisation of the divorce legislative, are characterised here. The analysis of the development of the reasons for the divorce in the Czech Republic is a part of the work. It overlays with the area divorce on the regional and district levels. The analyses and the obtained results are presented by way of statistical tables, diagrams and maps.
Divorce of the population of European countries, the temporal development and spatial differentials

This bachelor thesis deals with divorce of the population of European countries, the temporal development and spatial differentials. The work is divided into chapters, which are divided into various subsections. The first part focuses on the definition of the family and its theoretical conception. The second part deals with the basic concepts relating to divorce and describes divorce rates. The following chapter is devoted to the history and distribution in the Czech Republic and in various European countries, which is sulemented by the reasons and causes of divorces in selected European countries. Another part analyzes the frequency, intensity and spatial differentiation of divorce by individual European countries on the basis of selected methods of assessment, such as gross index and divorce, the total divorce rate and divorce by age. The analysis is accompanied by graphs and map outputs. The last part is devoted to the categorization of countries according to the intensity of divorce.
Marriage - outdated institution?

This work is evaluating perceived values of marriage in Czech Republic and their implications to the role of a social worker. It is divided into three chapters, the first is focusing on some indicators of general quality of marriages, namely the number of people choosing cohabitation over marriage, number of divorces and children produced out of wedlock. It is also describing the value of marriage in Czech population as witnessed in sociological survey. The second chapter is defining marriage from theological perspective. That is marriage as portrayed in The Bible and sacramental marriage. The last chapter defines the goals and values of social work in conjunction with marriage, defining the role and personality of a practicing social worker. It is also covering the topic of ethical issues and ethical codex of social workers.
Population development in the microregion of Boskovicko

The subject of thisthesis is tje population development in the microregion of Boskovicko between 2004-2014. There are evaluated selected demographic characteristics and the comparason with superior territorial units - District Blansko and the South Moravien region. A technique of the time lines trends is predicted development of demographic indicators by 2016. This thesis focuses on indicators of demographics statics and dymamics. The demographics indicators are population structure, mortality, fertility, abortion rate, marriage rate, divorce rate, migration and natural reproduction. abortion rate, marriage rate, divorce rate, migration and natural reproduction.
Disparity v demografickém vývoji vybraných regionů

The subject of my thesis are disparities in demographic trends of selected municipalities with extended powers in the South Moravian Region. In the period 2001 - 2014 will be analyzed demographic indicators such as birth rates, mortality, abortion , divorce , marriage , and increases in population and for the total , net migration and natural increase. All of this will follow the development in municipalities with extended powers in the district Brno. These municipalities with extended powers were chosen primarily because analysis of the state of the area of Brno as part of its agglomeration. Geographical areas of municipalities with extended powers are sufficiently small area to show us the problems arising from demographic change. Lower territorial unit, a community for us has been a good representative sample. And because of the very different problems of individual communities. Areas which will touch this thesis, the administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers Ivančice, Kuřim, Pohořelice, Rosice, Šlapanice, Tišnov, Židlochovice. Individual demographic indicators will be analyzed in all these municipalities with extended powers and will be processed in graphs and tables. All this will then be compared with each other.
Analýza demografického vývoje mikroregionu Ostrožsko-Veselsko

This diploma thesis is focused on an analysis of the number and structure of the selected population segment and on the demographic dynamics trend of the microregion Ostrožsko-Veselsko in between the years 2001 and 2011. These demographic indicators were analysed as follows: natality, abortion rate, mortality, marriage rate, divorce rate, migration and total growth. Any trends of the selected demographic indicators were predicted by using an appropriate trend function for upcoming 5 years ending. The reason for choosing this topic is the absence of any more detailed analyses of the microregion development strategy, so this thesis can be used as a base for its formulation in the future.

In the present thesis I am dealing with the demographic differences within the Member States of the European Union. There were selected 4 states of the EU, namely Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Belgium and Austria. The sources of the dates for the representation of these differences are the years 1996-2013; at parameters, where it is possible, will be used as well year 2013. The work is divided into two parts; the theoretical and the practical. The first part is described as the science of demography in general, its history, and attention is focused on the interpretation of the basic demographic indicators. In the practical part, these indicators are applied to examples of these states, of which are then made subsequent evaluation and conclusions. These specific demographic indicators that will be used in the practical part and through which we can judge each situation are (in alphabetical order): migration, fertility, birth, abortion, divorce, marriage and mortality.
