Diploma thesis Insurance companies products comparison in the market of Czech Republic focuses on the subgroup of life insurance which is term life insurance. Thesis is divided in to the theoretical part, where the situation of Czech insurance market is brought in details and it depicts and analyses life insurance as a whole to emphasize the reason of selection of term life insurance outside of the other types. Theoretical part is constructed the way to enlighten the issues of life insurance for ordinary readers and on other hand to provide professionals working in this sector with useful and beneficial information. The core of the thesis is represented by practical part, where deep analysis of particular products and their interpretation and application on defined groups consisting of different people structures is provided. Thesis is trying to emphasize an importance of ensuring personal well-being via insurance and aspires to be helpful as a tool when choosing a right product of life insurance as well.
Comparison of the living standards in North Moravia region and Prague in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century

The Czechoslovakian economy and standard of living of the population in Czechoslovakia in the 70's and 80's of the last century, can be evaluated, in comparison with the developed countries of the former Western World, as lagging behind. However, in this comparison, has to be taken into account the different political systems of each country. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of living standards of citizens in selected regions of Czechoslovakia and the subsequent comparison of this two selected areas. The theoretical part includes not only an introduction into the issue of standard of living, but also the general outline of the political and economic situation in the former Czechoslovakia. Based on empirical research, the thesis is trying to find meaningful data on this issue. A comparison of expenditures and incomes of households, availability of medical and social services, equipment or free time spending -- this all is included in this research, which first analyzes the data in this two regions, which is beeing comparing in the last part. The specified hypothesis, that residents of the North Moravia region had a comparable, if not higher standard of living, than in Prague, thanks to at that time very supported steel industry, was in the framework of certain investigated factors partly confirmed. A particularly due to higher total industrial employment and the associated higher wages in this sector. The citizens of the North Moravia region had better results in the context of household equipment too. On the other hand, the people of Prague had better conditions in the availability of health and social services and richer leisure activities in the field of cultural life.
Standart of living in Czechoslovakia during the 1950's and 1960's

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the standard of living in Czechoslovakia during the 1950's and 1960's. The first part characterizes the evolution in Czechoslovakia in the 50' and 60' from the political view, as well as it examines the influences of that policy on the society. The second part describes the development of a social policy in the years question. The third part is concerned with a question of leisure time and the matter of influencing the way of spending peoples' leisure time by the socialist power. The fourth part is focused on specific determinants of the living standards, comparing them with selected countries. The main goals are the analysis of the living standard and it's comparison with surrounding states and the evaluation of the role by the socialist power in the development of living standards and a leisure time. Socialist power played important role in living standards, specifically in factors determining the living standards as well as in formation of the leisure time. Comparison of the living standards is not completely straightforward. While some factors show underdevelopment of the Czechoslovakia compared to other countries, some variables are on a level comparable with the western states.

This bachelor thesis deals with low-income households and is especially aimed at income situation of households in the Czech Republic including income inequality within the population. The paper is also concerned with the comparison of the risk of poverty on the national as well as the international level through the use of sec- ondary data from Eurostat and the the Czech Statistical Office. Subjective views of Czech low-income households were identified through primary data, while these views relate primarily to consumer behaviour in connection with the expenditure of their households.

This thesis deals with identification and analysis of ways to measure the healthcare factor affecting living standards. The first part is the study of expert publications and databases, examining international organizations and identification of ways to measure selected categories of healthcare factors. Identified indicators are then analyzed using in-depth interviews with experts in the field of healthcare. Regression analysis was performed for selected indicators, which is crucial in assessing the degree to which the indicator explains the standard of living. The last part based on established methodology evaluates current situation in healthcare in relation to the standard of living in the Czech republic.

Toulová, H. Assessment of selected standard of living factors in the EU. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. This thesis is focused on the validity of GDP per capita as an indicator of standard of living by employing regression analysis on the gross domestic product per capita and individual factors that affect the population's standard of living. The situation is analysed in three States of the European Union. These states were chosen considering the historical context of how they successively joined the EU. The three States are France, Austria and Czech Republic. The main source of data for this analysis is the Eurostat statistics, but data have been collected from other sources as well. The information obtained from the regression analysis is used to assess the validity of GDP per capita as a measurement of standard of living in the corresponding country.

BÍLKOVÁ, L. Factors of the living standard of households in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. This diploma thesis deals with selection the most important factors of the living standard of households in the Czech Republic, i.e. the selection of such factors of the living standard that have the greatest impact on Czech households. The living standard can be seen from two points of view. First, the living standard in the Czech Republic can be seen from the objective point of view -- we focus on evolution of GDP per capita, household's income and expenditures, unemployment, household's debt and poverty rates. Second, the living standard can be seen from the subjective point of view based on data provided by The Public Opinion Research Centre. In this case, we monitor changes in opinions of Czech citizens regarding the living standard and economic situation in the Czech Republic. Subjective opinions of Czech households are also used in the next part of this diploma thesis, especially in the questionnaire survey. Thanks to these data, using the Prin-cipal Component Analysis, the most important factors of the living standard of households in the Czech Republic can be identified.

This diploma thesis deals with monitoring the development and analysis of selected indicators affecting living standards in the Visegrad group. The Visegrad group includes country in Central Europe: Czech republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The diploma thesis analyzes a selected indicators, which determing living standards. The thesis also analyzes their development and mutual comparisons between selected countries from entering countries into the European Union in 2005 to 2013. The main data source for this work is provided by Eurostat especially EU-SILC. The next part is a principal component analysis of the monitored indicators and the results are interpreted in mutual comparison of the countries of the Visegrad group.

Bachelor`s thesis deals with the issue of measuring living standards using the indicators that depict it`s material side, mainly GDP. It uses indicators of material living standards and alternative indicators of living standards. Secondly it deals with participation of the English and the Spanish in tourism. Required data were obtained from secondary sources. The questionnaire survey was made to bring subjective views of each country`s citizens on their living standards, focusing on factors that affect the choice of vacation. Secondary and primary data are put into context with each other and complemented with recommendations for subjects doing business in tourism.

The Bachelor thesis is focused on standards of life and factors affecting the living standards of Czech and Slovak consumers. In the theoretical section are explained the concepts related to living standards, a consumer, and his behavior. The practi-cal part is divided into two parts. The first part examines the standard of living objectively determined by indicators such as GDP, household income, unemployment, inflation and alternative indicators. The main source comes from secondary data published on the websites of the Eurostat and the Czech and Slovak Statistical Office. In addition to these indicators, it is necessary to include other factors affecting the standard of living, in particular the subjective opinion of inhabitants. The second part of the thesis is aimed at subjective views of consumers of the Czech and Slovak Republics, whose data are collected through a questionnaire survey. Finally, both parts are compared and acquired results are used to understand the reasons for such development and recommendations are designed.
