Use of LINQ technology

This work is focused at new Microsoft technology for querying data LINQ (Language intergrated query). It is built as complex technology, it allows working with various data sources. For example it contains collections of objects, created for temporary storing data in memory, but also data in robust database systems. In first part of this work I describe how data was queried before LINQ was on scene and what reasons made LINQ originate. Then I analyze new features in C# that were prerequisites for creating language integrated query as part of base libraries. Next part focuses at query operators, their interfaces and provides examples of use. Then I describe LINQ technology in complex, I create and describe in detail process of execution of LINQ query. Next chapter describes querying ADO.NET Datasets. Practical examples are created for both typed and untyped Datasets. In following chapter I analyze LINQ to SQL functionality. There is described method of implementation, mainly translation LINQ query to SQL language, integrated object rational mapping tool, change tracking in mapped objects including concurrency problems. At the end of the chapter I sketch the future in data access in ADO.NET entities. In last but one chapter is created complex application of use LINQ technology. Application is built as thin client that uses LINQ as for reading and manipulating data from relational database. In the application is LINQ also used common work with component that presents data. At the end part of this work is LINQ technology summarized. Contribution and pitfalls of LINQ technology are also described.

Unstoppable headway of human kind had to face prejudices and control of those in power for centuries. Without any doubt it is incredible that there were individuals to extend outer limits of human wisdom although they were punished for their deeds afterwards. Renaissance brought massive progress of civic society. Not only Church and monasteries were wisdom-holders any more. Fruits of renaissance were given to a large number of people as the society started to loosen both on the field of politics and religion. Nevertheless feudal system of government that restrained scholarship and education from serfs was not overcame yet. ln that respect England was the first to leave old ways of thinking behind (as many times after) and overtook the rest of Europe. That was the reason for choosing England in that age to be a subject of my thesis. This age is represented by reasonable politics which I find very familiar to me. Inner politics based on Empirism and outer in order to sustain power balance in Europe.

Computer Terminology and Computer Slang in Russian and English

Avec le grand développement des technologies diverses, notamment celle des ordinateurs dans le monde entier, une nécessité de donner des noms et des termes aux nouveaux objets et réalités est apparue, touchant toutes les langues, y compris le russe. La tâche de ce mémoire est d'étudier le lexique informatique de la langue russe. Vu que la plupart de ce lexique est composée des néologismes, dont une grande partie est empruntée à la langue anglaise, nous allons analyser plus profondément ces néologismes et les termes en russe, empruntés aux autres langues, enfin le processus lui-même d'emprunt de nouveaux mots à l'anglais. Notre but est non seulement de caractériser, dans une partie théorique du mémoire, la terminologie et le jargon informatiques, mais aussi de créer un petit dictionnaire russetchèque des expressions principales, liées à l'ordinateur et à l'internet. C'est un résultat du fait que l'auteur n'a pas trouvé de dictionnaire où il se trouvraient les termes en russe, ses équivalents de jargon et les traductions des termes russes en tchèque, alors il a décidé de faire un dictionnaire lui- même. The concepts of literary space in the Slovak prose of the 70s of the 20th century

The collection of five interpretative essays deals with various concepts of home and its different spaee speeifieations in the officially published prose of the 70s of the last century in Slovakia. Through the analysis of the literary spaee we enter an unfathomed region whose comprehension may also change - to a great extent - the existing sight of the official production of the "normalisation period". When interpreting the individual texts, the emphasis was placed on observing especially the common features of the literary space. That is the reason why even reiterating ehapter titles were chosen (horizontal and vertical forms of the space, open or closed space, transitions points, topos of the journey periphery and forms of border, etc.). By their synthesis we may eome to the eonelusion that the seleeted authors (Dušan Dušek, Július Baleo, Ladislav Ballek and Stanislav Rakús) are arguing especially against the diverse representations of the power through different concepts of the space. Objective of my work is to draw attention to some of the fundamental paradigmatic prineiples ofmodelling the literary spaee in the Slovak prose ofthe 70s. Conception of death perceived by children

The aim of this paper is better understanding how children think about the world and what they know about how it goes there. The ambition of the research is to find meanings that children attach to the death. One of the prerequisites of research is the assumption that images of death can not be asked directly without causing undesirable reduction of potentially rich answers. For this reason, Thematic Apperception test was elected as a tool and the children told stories to a pre-selected board. Eleven children, at the age from 9 to 10 years collaborated on the research. As a comparative sample was subjected to the same test a group of eleven young adults aged 19 to 20 years. Stories of children and adults were subsequently subjected to thematic analysis, one category was the meaning of death for actors in the story. Results of the analysis were then put into context with Klatt (1991).

Current political issues of international trade related to the development of sub-Saharan Africa

The thesis deals with processes that are under way on the international political scene focused on bringing about change in international trade rules. The aim is to analyze to what extent are taken into account interests and development needs of sub-Saharan Africa. Examination of links between international trade on one hand, and development and poverty alleviation on the other hand, has emerged as one of the top issues of development studies. They consider a more substantial integration of sub-Saharan Africa countries into flows of international trade as one of the forms of efficient support to the African development efforts. Actually, two key trade negotiations are taking place -- the Doha Development Agenda under the auspices of the World Trade Organisation, and the Economic Partnership Agreements negotiations between the European Union and the ACP countries. The negotiations have proven to be politically sensible and up to now have failed in reaching an agreement. The present thesis seeks, therefore, to explore the reasons for the failure.

Vliv kultury na politiku Mexika

Tato práce zkoumá vzájemné vazby mezi kulturou, společenskými normami a principy, sociální diversifikací a politikou Mexika. Jejím hlavním cílem je určení, do jaké míry se latinskoamerická kultura promítá do politického vývoje Mexika. Při charakteristice mexické kultury vychází z výzkumů Geerta Hofstedeho a jeho kulturních dimenzí. Odpovídá na otázku, co vedlo k tomu, že politický vývoj Mexika byl zcela odlišný od vývoje ostatních zemí latinskoamerické kultury. Analyzuje kulturní podmíňenost faktorů, které zapřičinily to, že Mexiku vládla po sedm desetiletí jediná politická strana ? Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI), aniž by se jednalo o diktaturu. Dochází k závěru, že tato nevídaná stabilita není v rozporu s kulturními dimenzemi, ale že PRI dokázala vhodně využít kulturně daný charakter mexické společnosti, vyznačující se vysokou mírou sociální diversifikace. Vytvořila specifický politický systém, v dané kultuře fungující. K jeho změně pak docházelo postupně, s tím jak se proměňoval charakter mexické společnosti. V souvislosti s dynamickým vývojem mexické společnosti následně předpovídá změny kulturních dimenzí.

Critical look on internets expectations

The diploma work proceeded from a hypothesis, that Internet will gradually lead to a development, similar to the one of TV or radio - thus that it will become a medium, through which a narrow group of owners of particular titles of this media will share on the profit generation and that after a certain period the entry of new subjects into this market will be limited in a same way as it is today in the world of electronic media and print. The subject of this diploma thesis is a project of guesthouse. The building is situated in moderate slope terrain in cadastral territory Hlinsko v Čechách. Guest house capacity is 46 beds. Guesthouse has three floors and is designed from the structural system Porotherm. The ceilings are made of reinforced concrete joined with stiffening reinforced concrete wreath. The roofs of the house are built as saddle roof. In the first floor there is located main entrance, reception desk and restaurant with facilities. European Union and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Next year will the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories celebrate the 50th Anniversary. European Union, the most significant trade partner of Israel as well as the biggest donor of Palestine, was for a long time a mere observer of a situation of deepening of the occupation and postponing of its end because of building of Israeli settlements on the one side and of gradual division of Palestinian territories between radical Hamas and Fatah. Just in the autumn of 2015 the European Union decided to take a restrictive step towards Israel by setting clear rules of labelling of Israeli goods produced in those Israeli settlements. However, a harsh response has come both from the Israeli government and from some of EU member states. Therefore this work focuses on evaluation of the legitimacy of this move and on trying to assess the reason of its partial failure.
