The thesis is focused on strategic analysis of the selected company. To analyze the external environment is used SLPETA analysis, Porter's 5 forces model and to analyze the internal environment the 7S. The results are summarized with a SWOT analysis and the conclusion of the work are given possible recommendations and proposals for sub-strategic objectives. All recommendations comply with the rules SMART and are in line with company strategy.

The main contribution is data processing for business, specifically for a restaurant and café, specialized in target group of people with autism spectrum disorder and in families with children. After carrying out all the analyses a suitable business plan is designed.

This master’s thesis deals with evaluating the financial situation of a company Speleoart,s.r.o. between 2006 and 2010. The aim of the thesis is to analyze recent situation of the company and to bring suggestions to improve its situation. The first part of this work is dedicated to theoretical knowledge, where I will explain the basic terms and methods of financial analyzis. In the second part there will be a detailed information about the company, characterization of its situation, analyzis of the external and internal surroundings and the financial analyzis. The third part will be based on results from the second part and will include the suggested change, which should lead to the improvement of the financial situation of the company.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to suggest effective action steps targeting the enhancement of current situation within a company with the help of analysis of both its internal and external environment. Fundamental analysis, SLEPTE analysis, Porter's model and SWOT analysis were used. Each application is preceded by theoretical introduction into the essence of the applied analytical model.

In the first part – theoretic one – the thesis explains the conception of reporting as the one of contolling basic functions, SLEPTE analysis and Porter´s model of competitive environment, Kralickuv Quick and SWOT analysis. The practical part deals with charts creation. From these points of view there are presented propsals facilitate improving the firm possition.

The proposed strategy for meeting the requirements of SMART and are in line with our strategic business objective of increasing profits and strengthening its market position.
