This dissertation offers a commented translation into Czech language of works written by two most important choreographers of the 18th century, Italian Gasparo Angiolini and French Jean-Georges Noverre. It is a selection of their most important texts where they develop an inovative aesthetics of the dramatic ballet – ballet en action. An introductory chapter about theatre aesthetics of the first half of the 18th century is included in the beginning of the work where I summarize the most important discussions of the period and topics that inspired the choreographers to their reform in the art of dance. Futhermore, a chapter refering to the sources for this work is attached to each commented translation.

VHDL Design of Advanced CPU
Slavík, Daniel ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Straka, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this project was to study pipelined processor architectures along with instruction and data cache. Chosen pipelined architecture should be designed and implemented using VHDL language. Firstly, I decided to implement the subscalar architecture first, secondly, three versions of scalar architecture. For these architectures synthesis into FPGA was done and performance of these architectures was compared on chosen algorithm. In the next part of this thesis I designed and implemented instruction and data cache logic for both architectures. However I was not able to synthetise these caches. Last chapter of this thesis deals with the superscalar architecture, which is the architecture of nowadays.

Mobile player for multimedia content presentation and processing
Króner, Tomáš ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Müller, Jakub (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with developing of multimedia application that allow play and receive multimedia files as audio and video. In thesis introduction, there is theory overview about programming language J2ME, its parts and divisions in couple of chapters. The applications developing begin by choosing focus groups and also group of devices that agree with present trends about mobile devices. The next part undertakes selecting development tool NetBeans IDE based on requirements for multimedia develop and also undertakes selecting software development kit Nokia SDK and its short definition. Afterwards, the application and its basic classes and methods are briefly characterized. The chapters of classes and methods are divided according algorithm level, following development description dividing aspect. Program functions are enriched with flow diagrams completing written text, which have marked important points of program. The main chapters describing algorithm parts begin with define audio and video play. The other pages include description of network connection a data transfers. In every part the programmer part, algorithm is analyzed first and than general options and functionality of this area. In file play part, it is selection of file and proceeding to launch playing with function control possibility. In case of network connection, it is access to network and data handling, eventually communication with each other in client - server hierarchy and consequential multimedia content playing. In the end of development part, reader is cognizant of application fault handling that is inherently part of every application working with I/O data. Next chapter is devoted to future development a design resulting to present process. In the thesis it can be found also application description from user’s point of view, user manual a solving incurred problem situations. In the instructions, there are contained screenshots of described parts of program. Reached results and reviews are summarized on the end of the thesis.

OFDM implementation in FPGA
Horák, Martin ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Maršálek, Roman (advisor)
The thesis is focused on designing OFDM modem, which should be implemented into the FPGA device. The advantages of using OFDM signals in order to provide high baud rates together with high multipath immunity has provoked a mass expansion into media systems such as DSL, DVB, Wi-Fi, WLAN, etc. . Thanks to this technology we can quarantee high modulation rates with minimal negative disturbance eects. The rst part is dedicated to characterise OFDM signals, their generation and the algorithm producing the OFDM which is implemented in DSP devices. For the purpose of using the fastest algorithm, the Fast Fourier Transform using Cooley-Tukey algorithm was shown. Before we can implement OFDM modem into the FPGA device, we have to simulate its correct function. Because there is no OFDM analyser available at our departement, its necessary to prove its correct function by simulations. Therefore a large part of this thesis is focused on simulations using Matlab and ModelSim, in order to show comparison between the theoretical, and simulated results. Between the theoretical and practical simulations there is a part which shows the brief characteristics of available FPGA devices. Detailed view is presented just for the Virtex II device, which the implementation is made for. As a suitable FPGA device, we have chosen Virtex II XC2V1000 which is available for students. In the last part the measured results were shown to prove the corect function of the modem. Programming the FPGA using VHDL language is realized in the software ISE Xilinx (distributed in Xilinx software support). All programmed scrits and data used in this thesis are included on distributed media.
