Ultrafast laser spectroscopy of semiconductor nanostructures
Chlouba, Tomáš ; Trojánek, František (advisor)
In this work we investigate changes in dynamics of CdSe nanocrystalline films caused by different annealing temperatures and different conditions during films growth. We use methods of time-resolved laser spectroscopy like time-resolved pump and probe and streak camera to study these dynamics. We also measured linear absorption and luminiscence. Our goal is to match measured dynamics with dynamics of other samples with different annealing temperatures and discuss the microscopic origin of these dynamics. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Market survey of high power semiconductor devices
Gama, Richard ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis I will evaluate few discrete devices and their differences in structure, static and switching characteristics and also some structurall and manufacturing principles. After that I will follow up with their integration into power modules , where I will also aim on construction solutions and trends. These power moduls are today delivered as „stack“ or „system“, where for optimization and highest achievable efficiency of the whole unit the integration of protection, drive and cooloing stage is incorporated. Cooling and drive of some devices will be subject of a separate chapter. Also some of novel materials, which are very promissing, will be introduced. They show improvemnet in electrical and thermal properties. They have potential to replace the currently dominant Silicon in the near future.
Printed photoelectrochemical UV sensor
Vrbková, Kateřina ; Syrový, Tomáš (referee) ; Dzik, Petr (advisor)
This paper deals with the sensors, designed for ultraviolet light detection. There are many options in UV sensors construction. But in any case, there is a semiconducter used as a sensitive component. The most common photocatalyst is titanium dioxide. In electronic it is mainly used due to its suitable physical and chemical properties and good chemical stability. The aim of the work is preparation of gel electrolyte, which can close the electrical circuit between cathodic and anodic compartment and allows the passage of electrons. The hole first chapter is divoted to methods of UV sensors production, including electrochemical method on which is based our sensor.
Operating parameters of LED light sources
Janík, Daniel ; Mikulka, Jan (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to introduce the basic photometric quantities and operating parameters of LED light sources, according to which the light sources are evaluated and compared. The thesis examines effects of high temperature and elevated stress on LED retrofits and a design of measurement methods to measure these influences. According to the proposed methods, nine samples of light sources were measured and compared to each other on a basis of the measurements. Comparison was made from the point of view of the energy as well as the quality of the produced light. The results were also compared to the parameters specified by the producers.
Cellular Photostimulation with Hydrogen-bonded Organic Semiconductor Microcrystal Interfaces
JAKEŠOVÁ, Marie
The aim of this thesis was to investigate the potential use of hydrogen-bonded organic semiconductors in photostimulation of mammalian cells and the determination of the mechanism thereof.
Characteristics features of luminescence radiation solar cells
Malý, Martin ; Šimonová, Lucie (referee) ; Stojan, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with characteristic features of luminiscence radiation solar cells during electroluminiscence. Electroluminescence is the process in which a substance begins to radiate electromagnetic radiation (luminiscence radiation) due to passing electrical current. Various defects in the structure of the photovoltaic cell can cause polarization of that radiation. The aim of this thesis is to measure some polycrystalline solar cells by electroluminescence. Selected solar cell is measured by electroluminescence extended by polarizing filter and afterward collected data are processed in MATLAB.
Diagnostics of semiconductors properties
Šeliga, Ladislav ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes the basic properties of semiconductor materials and methods of their measuring. In the first part of this work are discussed elemental semiconductors, semiconductor compounds and the band structure. The next section describes current conduction in semiconductors, methods for measuring resistivity. This work is focused on the measuring drift mobility of minority charge carriers using the Haynes-Shockley method for a sample of silicon semiconductor, the creation of automated workplace in the development environment VEE Pro and resistivity measurements of silicon samples.
Semiconductor properties
Řihák, Pavel ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's project deals with methodology for determination the semiconductors parameters. Particularly, it deals with methods of diffusion length measurrement. Various methods of measurement were studied for this purpose and selected the most suitable one. Which was carried measurements on a sample of silicon using IR power LEDs.
Physical quantities monitoring in semiconductors
Jankulár, Tomáš ; Polsterová, Helena (referee) ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (advisor)
This thesis deals with the monitoring of physical parameters in semiconductor materials. The experiment was aimed at measuring the current minority carrier mobility and conductivity measurements for a sample of silicon and germanium.
