Recognition of Handwriting for Mobile Phones
Talaš, Vladimír ; Chalupníček, Kamil (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this project is to create a mobile phone application, which can use phone camera to get a photography. This photography contains text, application has an ability to find a text, recognize all characters and send output as SMS. In this application there are implemented algorithms for text recognize from pictures based on Hidden Markovov Models. The particular stress is put on training of the model, to maximalise a succes of text recognition. There are some experiments model training with model variables, which are leading in better ability of text recognition. It was achieved a value of 97% succesfully recognized characters.

Restaurant Menu for Mobile Phones with Bluetooth
Dzurňák, Tomáš ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Novosad, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement an application for a mobile phone and a desktop computer, which provides ability to browse a restaurant menu and to make orders. The desktop computer provides information from the restaurant menu and manages new orders. The desktop application is able to communicate with more mobile phones simultaneously. The communications between the mobile phone and the computer is realized with Bluetooh wireless technology. The user interface of the mobile application is designed user-friendly and available in plenty languages. There are suggestions for future development of this project in the end.
Application for secure data storage for mobile devices
Kocáb, Marek ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the creation of application for secure data storage for mobile devices. The paper theoretically describes operating system according to users popularity and programming languages. The following section explains AES encryption standard and its principle of data encryption and decryption. In the practical part is created a PINapplication programm. The application allows user to store sensitive data using chosen password. It is possible to save new data or erase current data. These data are encrypted by mentioned AES standard. The application is programmed in Java language with the version for mobile devices (J2ME).
JavaME Application for Betting on sport results
Kubalík, František ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of applications for mobile terminals, which allows user to bet on sports games. The functionality of this application is dependent on a central database, whose proposal is also part of this work. The first section describes the basic features of programming languages, which were used for the implementation of the project. Gradually, it is described in Java, SQL and PHP. The correct formation of tables and a description of problems that may arise in the design of the database are mentioned. Next chapter describes the actual implementation of the project. It described the methods and a more detailed description of the implementation of the various parts the project comprises. This section also contains a test created by the application.
Utilization of wireless transfers in J2ME applications
Mikulecký, Miloš ; Kovář, Petr (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis consider to problemation of programing J2ME aplication with specialized on wireless transfers. As the wireless technology was selected technology Bluetooth, what is implemented on the majority mobile phones at now. Aplication was projected and realized enabling transfers short messages between mobile phones over interface Bluetooth. The aplication was developed in programation enviroment NetBeans. The aplication was tested on some mobile phones different marks and types. It turned out, that some mobile phones is differnet, though mobile phones are of the same mark.

Svoboda, Pavel ; Mácha, Tomáš (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with developing multimedia applications on Java Micro Edition platform. The aim of this work is to design and implement the application which could establish a call between two users. The first part of the work describes J2ME platform, its two configurations and profiles. Next part is focused on Session Initiation Protocol and Real-time Transport Protocol. The application design consists of choosing the suitable virtual machine JVM, SIP and RTP libraries. The main part of this work describes application structure, graphic user interface and installation packages creating. It also shows a way of customizing the media stack - Java Media Framework, version Cross Platform.
Universal mobile communication platform using the bluetooth technology
Sopko, Richard ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Daněček, Vít (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on field of communication technologies in mobile devices in personal WPAN type wireless networks. Work consists of three basic parts. First part provides overview of personal WPAN wireless networks and is specialized on Bluetooth technologies and its opportunities of communication between mobile devices. Second part deals with an opportunity of using programming language Java 2 Micro Edition in work with Bluetooth technology. Key point of this work is third part which includes scheme of conception of a communication platform and creating of application designed for mobile phones. Created application enables communication by means of changing files and written conversation of two or more people in real time by Bluetooth connection.
SIP client development in JavaME
Janeček, Aleš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
This thesis analyzes various alternatives of SIP protocol implementation on Java Micro Edition devices. This analysis is especially concentrated on SIP protocol, SIP API (JSR-180) and the development in contemporary mobile data networks. I design a midlet for a mobile phone SIP client on the basis of this analysis. The design is especially concentrated on communication, registration and text mesage transfer.
