Simulation model of population development
Ďuricová, Ivana ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Langhamrová, Jitka (referee)
In these days one of the global problem seems to be continuous population growth. The most quickly rising population can be found predictably in the poorest developing countries of the world, which also have trouble with meeting basic demands of its inhabitants. That is why it is necessary to closely watch population trend, because it noticeably influences many social-economic issues like sufficiency of work opportunity, access to the education, housing etc.. This diploma thesis focuses on monitoring of population development of Slovak republic till 2025. The aim of thesis is creation of simulative model in program SIMPROCESS 4.3.1, which will offer transparent results of population development forecast. These model results in program SIMPROCESS 4.3.1 are compared with official population development forecast in Slovakia till 2025 published by Statistical Office of Slovak republic in 2007. The thesis is focused in detail on monitoring of demographical indicators like birth rate, mortality rate and migration.

Social networks in banking
Vohnický, Tomáš ; Očenášek, Vladimír (advisor)
Diploma thesis is about communication activities in banking sector on social media, which are very widespread tool for marketing communications these days. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part or literary research and practical part. Theoretical part describes the various social networks, including their history and functions. Most of the theoretical part is focused on Facebook. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes tools that are used in the creation of content or in analyzing the success of communication. In the practical part I will create content, one post each month. I would like to create the most relevant content that would derive from the results that I emerged from my bachelor thesis Bank and social networks. Here I analyzed the most successful content in different months on the Facebook site G2 Komerčky. At the end of each month, posts created by me will be analyzed in comparison with other posts on the site and I could confirm or deny whether it was content generated by me identified with the results of the analysis of my bachelor thesis.

The object of metropolitan significance on the street Benesova Brno
Očadlíková, Veronika ; Němec, Josef (referee) ; Ruller, Ivan (advisor)
The density of public communications in Brno has acquired the character of metropolis, which, however, is nowadays asking for help in further development. The historic centre is fighting with dilapidation or with unused space of suburban districts. Behind all this I see the problem of urbanity, of propinquity. The resulting built-up area in the related locality complements to historical centre, to circuit and with its sequel of moves seeks inspiration in the development of nearby suburban districts. The priority of walk should be re-creation of network, sort of unity of space.

Cút, Dušan ; Mucha, Ivan (advisor) ; Marcelli, Miroslav (referee)
Thesis is focused on media ethics and concentrate on moral values in film. The goal of thesis is to confirm or to disprove the need of applied ethics in film production. Thesis is divided into three parts. First part is focused on media ethics in film in general. Second part advise about several media theories and film in relation to ethics. Thirt part is dedicated to film semiothics and values. The core of theses is created of several aspect of film such as film editing, language and meaning through out film acting, sounds and costume. We do not emphasise good or bad impact on film on moral values but we bring out significance of value creation process. We underline film creation itself and tools of film production. The structure of thesis is interdisciplinary. I tis verz sensitive connection of ethics knowledge, media and semiothics. Interdisciplinar view brings toghether known facts and new approach. Key words: applied ethics, media ethics, film theory, film semiothics, moral values

Development of methodology for study of mechanical activation of chemical reactions at phase boundaries
Matoušek, David ; Kalina, Lukáš (referee) ; Šoukal, František (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with impact of mechanochemical activation on a nature of interphase region in macro-defect-free composites (MDF). MDF composites are highly perspective material on a polymer-cement basis. The most significant advantage of this material is high flexural strength (cca 150 MPa). High strength is caused by high-shear mixing of mixture of cement, polymer, water and plasticiser in twin-roll mill. High-shear stress leads to mechanical activation of reactions between cement and polymer and creation of weak or even strong interactions in interphase region. This work aimed on creation of interphase region by contact of surfaces of two moulded tablets – polyvinyl alcohol and monocalcium aluminate. Next step was construction of simple apparatus, able to define the rate of mechanical activation in interphase region. The most important part of this work concentrated on analysis of activated interphase region by XPS.

Brno - Compact City among the old and the new railway stations
Tóth, Miroslav ; Tušer,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Koutný, Jan (advisor)
Urban planning and architectural study of a new section between the current and future railway station in Brno. The aim is to create a spatial concept of the urban environment as an alternative to the view, based on land-use plan. Plays an important role in building urban roller coaster as the main connecting element of the old and the new station. The solutions are used by the principles of making compact buildings. Optimal use of the area is provided by stacking functions. The concept is focused on the quality of housing is closely linked with the central character of public spaces. The main objective of this work is to extend the core of the city, supplementing the missing values of the old town (parking, green areas, transport structure) The basic concept of this work is to create a new district with high quality, but especially attractive housing. Unalterable feature of urban roller coaster, play a very important role in shaping the urban environment. The territory is held by the exposed area with quiet residential neighborhoods. The creation of pedestrian zones in the entire passage supports pedestrian and bicycle transportation in the city. Cars are restricted blind residential streets and reducing speed in residential zónach.Na other hand, ensured the flow of network communications reception. Svratky the river promenade is the nature of urban-type facilities for the sport. Character and location point of the amphitheater will open as landartový facility for leisure and outdoor activities, possibly the layout of interesting events with the use of the water surface.

Effect of Structure of FRC and Adhesive on the Bond Strength of Joint between FRC and Particulate Filled Dental Composite
Bystřický, Zdeněk ; Přikryl, Radek (referee) ; Poláček, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis investigates how is the strength of adhesive bond between dental FRC (Fiber Reinforced Composite) and adhesive affected by the type of reinforcement of dental FRC and by the type of adhesive. The nature of the fracture was investigated also. The strength of adhesive bond of the experimentally designed samples was measured using universal tensile testing machine in the specially constructed jaws. The nature of the fracture was viewed by the confocal microscope. The obtained results suggest that the strength of adhesive bond is mostly affected by the type of reinforcement of the FRC provided that there is a good wetting on the FRC surface. In this case, interlaminar strength of FRC was the limiting factor. The strength was lower in the case of FRC with multidirectional (spliced) glass fibers. The strength was also affected in a certain manner by the creation of locations where the stress was concentrated. This effect was most notably in the case of adhesives with the high cohesive strength. The impact of aqueous environment on the stability of adhesive joint was most major in the case of the low - crosslinked resins and in the case when the molecules of water penetrates into the interface between materials in consequence of poor wetting.
