Design of wireless headphones.
Zdvyhal, Milan ; Zvonek, Miroslav (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor’s thesis is to design an innovative solution of wireless headphones with a consideration to certain timelessness, trends and modern technologies. The purpose is to create thing, which will be unconventive and will respect technological processes and ergonomical parametres with main focus on maximal comfort and simply control.
Wireless technology NFC
Junga, Tomáš ; Fortinová, Jana (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The paper deals with NFC technology. The thesis is divided in theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part focuses on NFC technology and Bluetooth supported by basic definitions. It also provides NFC's brief history, its advantages as well as disadvantages and utilization of this technology. In the next part, thesis examines safety of such technology with focus on potential attacks. Furthermore paper contains comparison of NFC and Bluetooth technologies. Practical part of the thesis aims at showing real example of how the NFC tag works with NFC device, which is also one of the main objectives of this work. In the latter part, paper deals with future development of this technology with possible real life applications. The main contribution of this work is represented not only by the pure introduction of NFC technology as a way of accelerating data interchange but also by the possibility of wide adoption of this system in society in form of its everyday use.
Indoor positioning systems, implementation and realization
Strnad, Pavel ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Luboš (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of localization inside buildings. The first part deals with the technologies and systems used for localization, while explaining the basic princi-ples and problems of implementation of these systems, their benefits and disadvantages. This section explains the functionality of each technology and the purpose for which it is best suited. The next part deals with the actual implementation of the localization system Redpin within the campus of the University of Economics in Prague. This section summarizes basic information about the project Redpin, then there is dismantled architecture of the system and its functionality. The remaining part is devoted to the direct implementation of this system. There are specified used technologies, decommissioned installation process and eventually re-evaluated results of its testing.
Benefits of location services for retail
Prostredný, Ján ; Kubálková, Markéta (advisor) ; Kubálek, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse usage of available technologies of localization in particular retail units and their benefits for both customers and retailers. This topic concerns especially accurate localization of customers in retail units, targeted marketing and providing basic information according to the location in particular retail unit. Monitoring and evaluating of customer's movement trajectory and length of time spent at the particular place in the retail unit.
Wireless communication technology NFC
MÁROVÁ, Kateřina
Aim of this bachelor thesis is to handle the issue of new wireless communication technology NFC (Near Field Communication) including a comparison of advantages and disadvantages of NFC with other wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.). NFC is a technology for wireless communications between different electronic devices, one of which is typically a mobile phone. Near Field Communication allows wireless communication at very short distance by approaching or enclosing two devices and can be assumed that it will by used instead of credit cards, keys, IDs, etc. It will also support NFC technology researched by different mobile operating systems. Also creating a list of specific devices that support NFC technology. In this thesis a survey of the current expansion of this technology among professionals and laypeople in the Czech Republic will be carried out.
WiFi Direct Technology and its practical use
STARÝ, Tomáš
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the possibilities of practical usage of Wi-Fi Direct technology based on experimental verification which will be carried out using two mobile devices. Basic analysis of network properties will be performed on these two devices and the measured results will be compared with the theoretical values of Ad-hoc and BlueTooth technologies. We will determine where this new technology could be used in practice based on this comparison.
Comparative analyse ad hoc and Direct connection at wireless networks
LEJTNAR, Michal
This bachelor thesis is oriented to consider two types of wireless connection known as peer-to-peer. Elderly connection IBSS which is known as ad hoc and new connection Wi-Fi Direct. The intention of this thesis is finding if Wi-Fi Direct can replace ad hoc mode. Comparing is performed by measured values like latency, signal strength, baud rate and packet loss.
