The Cuban revolution in international context from the beginning of the fifties to the beginning of sixties

This work is dedicated to the political development in Cuba from the beginning of the fifties to the beginning of the sixties of the 20th century. This period is mostly known because of the Cuban revolution. The international relations between Cuba and the United States are the main interest of this thesis. AU chapters describe the most important incidents which affected Cuban history in this time. Because of the complexity of thís topíc, the history before the rise of anti-Batista opposition is also mentioned. The changes and reforms after the revolution did not only change the relations between Cuba and the USA, but affect relations in the whole region.

The analysis of match plot - standard situation

Resumé Title: The analysis ofmatch plot- standard situation Work objectives: The analysis of fruitfulness and performance of the offensive activity during the standard situations. The determination of key factors leading to overcoming the rival's defense and scoring a goal at standard situations from the World championship 2006 and Champions leagues 2004/2005 a 2005/2006. Graphic demonstrations and description of particular standard situations which were finished with the goal. Methods: The research was accomplished by indirect observation from DVD with all goals scored at these competitions. There was used the qualitative and quantitative analysis at this research. There were followed all the elements of performance in each standard situation. The graphic demonstration of each standard situation has showed us the models, which we can break in to the training process and transfer to another performance group. Results: The results show us which methods of playing the standard situations were used at the world championship. Also the new methods which lead to scoring a goal and the frequency of appearance ofthese factors. The comparison of some hemodynamics parameters, obtained by two non-invasive measurement methods - echocardiography and impedance cardiography (HOTMAN System) by patients with systemic hypertension

Echocardiography is an investigation of heart via scan. This enables to intend the moving and the locality of heart structures via scan pulse waves which are repulsed with acoustic interfaces. Impedance measuring of the thorax hemodynamics is based on changes of electrical impedance. These changes happen mainly because of the heart function. By its rhytmical function the heart periodically changes the conditions of blood flow through all vessels. By this we can explain periodical changes of impedance with frequence of heartbeat which we can observe by measuring. In this work I describe the comparison of two noninvasive investigation methods {--} echocardiography and impedance measuring of hemodynamics (Hotman System). We can use both of them to examine patients with high blood pressure (hypertension). My measurings are based on hemodynamics concept of hypertension. I did not take into account the actual treatment of patients. It is reviewed only patient´s actual situation and values of EF (ejection fraction) and CI (cardiac index) are compared in the same time by the same conditions.

Methods of regulation the occurrence thaliana violet (Viola arvensis Murray) on arable land

Due to repetitive planting of certain crops in the crop rotation process, there came to be a loss of certain weed species on the cultivated land, but because of this, a small selected number of species, because of there frequency and abundance, played an import role in the cultivated soil, (or harvest). Currently one of these weed species is the violet thaliana, which occurs in all cultivated crops, especially cereals and oilseeds. The significance of this harmful average weed is increasing significantly. Therefore an attempt was established on the farm, DZV Nova Bystrice. The aim of this experiment is to regulate thaliana violet (Viola arvensis Murray) on arable land.

Analysis of the Game Progress - Standard Situations

Title: Analysis of game action -standard situacions. Work objectives: Analysis a success of evasive tactics of comer kicks during a standard situacions and following action to counterattack. Object on performers Europe championship 2004 in Portugal. Frequency record of successfull or failure evasive tactics of comer kicks, during given performances comer kick. Metodology: Research was peďormed by technique of indirect tracing from videorecords, which showed Czech television from Europe championship 2004. For research we used kvalitative analysis. On the base of kvalitative analysis we created sampling distribution evalueted by descriptive statistic. Kvalitative analysis is focused to evasive tactic. Sampling distribution show exact defence action during specific despersions of comer kicks. Descriptive statistic is intend to frequency of succes or failure evasive tactic during given kind of dispersion of comer kick. The Pupil with Autism

The main subject for this diploma thesis is questions of integrating children with autism in mainstream basic schools. The aim of diploma thesis is to analyse current situation of integrated education of pupils with autism in mainstream schools in Central Bohemia Region. The analysis goes from the view of region coordinator for autism as a new institution responsible for coordination of counselling and educational services focused on clients with autism in region, and as a significant instrument for realization of the integration process. Partial aim of diploma thesis is focused on detection of factual experience of parents and assistant educators of integrated children, especially on disclosure of fundamental problems they often deal with in integration process. Diploma thesis would like to contribute to pedagogic practice in the field of integrating pupils with autism in mainstream schools by means of definition current problems to be solved in the future. The author regards survey results as initial domains of tasks that should be investigated in the following by means of quantitative research. Diploma thesis is divided into four parts. Řízení úvěrového rizika a hospodářský cyklus

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je vztah mezi hospodářskými cykly a chováním bank při poskytování úvěrů, popsaný Schumpeterovou a Minského teorií hospodářského cyklu. Hospodářský cyklus je způsoben investičním optimismem podnikatelů a následnou úvěrovou expanzí bank. Banky pod vlivem všeobecného optimismu postupně přestávají plnit pravidla řízení úvěrového rizika při poskytování půjček. Úvěr tak získávají stále více rizikovější klienti, kteří pravděpodobně nebudou schopni svůj dluh splatit, což se projeví na konci fáze expanze. V důsledku problému se splácením úvěrů nastane prudký pokles postihující nejen banky ale i zdravé firmy. Příkladem takové situace je hypoteční krize ve Spojených státech.

Transformation of geopolitical importance of Arctic Ocean due to climate change.

Work describes and predicts future development in geopolitical situation in the region of the Arctic Ocean. Problematic is covered with regard to melting of the Arctic iceberg leading to access of mineral resources under the sea floor, as well as to opening of so-called Northern Route as the shortest sea route between Far East and European markets. Thesis is a case study, which creates the most probable development in the region and its conflict potential based on study of available sources. Specific points covered in the text are, after geographically limiting the area and summing up the historical process, problematic of peak oil and sketching probability of melting of the Arctic iceberg. Second part covers the question of recovering of the mineral resources in the area - oil and natural gas as the most important. It also deals with dependence of the countries in the area on the drilling and with impacts of the possible drilling in the Arctic Ocean on the situation inside these countries. Last topic covered in this part are tools a conventions of the sea law dealing with setting of so-called Exclusive economic zones and technical difficulties of the mining process. Third part covers topic of availability of Northern Route and North-west Passage and their fallout on the trade between Far East and Europe...

Způsobila alkoholová prohibice pokles počtu dopravních nehod spáchaných řidiči pod vlivem alkoholu?

This paper tries to find out whether a short ban on sales of liquors reduced the harmful use of alcohol with respect to motor vehicle accidents. I make use of short (two weeks) alcohol prohibition which was imposed by the Ministry of Health Care in the Czech Republic in September 2012 aiming to stop the deadly wave of methanol poisoning. To estimate the effect of prohibition on the number of road traffic accidents, I exploit the methodology of differences-in-differences. I use daily data about traffic accidents from the Czech Republic (treatment group) and from neighboring countries such as Austria, Germany and Poland (control group). The result suggests that there is no significant drop in term of road traffic accidents.

Role of the EU in conflict resolution in South Ossetia and Abkhazia

This thesis deals with role of the European Union in the ethnic conflicts of South Caucasus, notably in South Ossetia and Abkhazia. In the first part, the author concentrates on the evolution of situation in South Ossetia and Abkhazia as well as on the role of international actors in these territories, before the outbreak of war between Russia and Georgia in August 2008. The master thesis continues with the analysis of the EU's engagement in break-away territories where author focuses on the evaluation of specific policies and instruments used by the EU towards the two ethnic territories and Georgia. The final section assesses the EU's responsiveness during the Russian-Georgian war and also the steps taken in the period after the violence. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to evaluate the Union's policies in South Ossetia and Abkhazia before, during and after the breakthrough war in August 2008. In this context, the author concludes that EU policies have failed because of unability to prevent a renewed outbreak of violence. Failure depended on the EU's reluctance to get involved in political and security issues and also on Russia's influence on decision-making process of the EU member states.
