Nonlinear Analysis of Composite Cross-Section With Respect To Effects of Shrinkage, Creep, Ageing and Temperature
Hron, Lukáš ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Čajka,, Radim (referee) ; Vráblík,, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jaroslav (advisor)
Advanced computational methods for the analysis of building structures are used more often in engineering practice. Their use is enforced not only by the demands for aesthetics, functionality and high economy of the construction, but often directly by code provisions and requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to provide for an engineer the robust, but transparent tool, which can be used for an efficient design of structure all over it's design working life. This work deals with the creation of a computational system for time dependent analysis of concrete and composite structures. It is assumed a solid or composite concrete section with possible application of pre-tensioned and/or post-tensioned tendons. Each phase of step-by-step build composite cross-section has a general geometry. The used algorithms give us the possibility of a detailed analysis of the structure in individual construction stages, provide the designer better view on the behavior of structures with respect to concrete aging, shrinkage and creep, relaxation of prestressed tendons and provide an information on the redistribution of internal forces in the structure and in different phases of the cross-section. Stress state of the structure calculated in this way come in useful further in the design and checking of ultimate and serviceability limit states. Results of time dependent analysis are verified by manual calculations and by comparing with the results obtained by simplified methods.

Contribution of consulting service to a change of lifestyle
Fojtíková, Monika ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Tilinger, Pavel (referee)
Title of thesis: Contribution of consulting service to a change of lifestyle Summary: The question of healthy life style has been recently in the centre of frequently discussed topics. The population's lifestyle has changed noticeably in comparison with the past and high-quality nutrition and regular motion activity is frequently neglected. People suffer from stress, lack of sleep and all these factors bring an increased level of heath risk. Among others, the society reacts to this fact by founding an amount of consulting clinics which try to help people to change and achieve a healthier and better quality life style. This thesis is concerned with an effect of a programme individually formed by a consultant on a change of life style and consequently on a change of female physical constitution at the age of 18 - 65. The research is supposed to reveal whether the program itself, regular controls and feed - backs will bring positive changes of life style and if there consequently follows a reduction of body weight as well as improvement of other physical parameters. Objective of thesis: Our aim was to determine what kind of women seek for help and consultations in the area of healthy life style. We were also interested which effect individually formed programme has and whether this change also...

Influence of hod dip galvanizing on properties of high-strenght steels
Křemen, Jan ; Suchánková, Ivana (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence of hod dip galvanizing on properties of high-strenght steel. Galvanizing adversely affects the mechanical properties of high-strenght steel. This paper also examines the influence of hod dip galvanizing at hardness high-strenght steels. The task is to assess how the yield stress can galvanize steel.

Strain stress analysis of BS splint
Řehák, Kamil ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with strain-stress analysis of hip joint together with the final applied total endoprosthesis with Burch-Schneider cage. The main point of my work was to find the solution of stress–strain analysis state, which has been mentioned before in connection with Burch-Schneider cage. I describe the technique of geometric creation of whole body system, component´s materials or conditions which are neccessary for calculation. In coclusion there are results achieved in variants. In the first option the case of bone tissue was considered, which don’t reach degradation mechanical properties effect straining under Burch-Schneider cage. In some cases when the bone tissue is untimely forced, the necrosis of bone tissue takes place under Burch-Schneider cage. This possibility is described in the second option of type. For every option there was a case which was calculated with applied screw or without it. In all option mechanical features of cancellous bone tissue and their change influence on achieved results were considered. This problem was solved computational simulation in commercial software Ansys Workbench 12.0.

The Development in Federalisation of Belgium in 1999 - 2007
Kochová, Lucie ; Rovná, Lenka (advisor) ; Kasáková, Zuzana (referee)
Diploma thesis "The Development in Federalisation of Belgium in 1999 - 2007" deals with the further steps in federalisation of Belgium in the given time span. The thesis includes an overview of the emergence of the Belgian state and its conversion from a unitary state into a federal state. The distintion of the political parties in Belgium is an integral part of this thesis as well as an overall explanation of the political system and its subjects. The followed period involves the results of three federal elections (with stress on the Chamber of Deputies), the situation before and after these elections and the government formations. The last chapter sums up the influence of the federalisation of Belgium on the functioning of the state and its parts, including cases such as Brussels or the post-election crisis in year 2007. In the conclusion, the possible alternatives of future development in Belgium are suggested and evaluated based on the gathered information. The thesis follows internal and external actions effecting the federalization, including comparison with the European Union and its influence. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Reaction of Soil Rotifers on Chemical Stress in Substrates of Spoil Heaps
BIZOS, Jiří
Abundance and species composition of soil rotifer communities was investigated in two seasons and six sites on dumps in the Sokolov mining area (Czech Republic). Every site was split into three plots, which differed in toxicity for vegetation and chemical composition of spoil material. The ability of soil rotifers to live in environment of spoil materials and the effect of pollution were studied in field conditions. According to results, abundance and species composition did not correspond to chemical environmental characteristics. Species composition of rotifer communities was affected by environmental variables such as vegetation, more likely than direct effect of chemical composition of spoil material.

The influence of stress during transport on agricultural usage of selected species
Michalcová, Pavlína ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Francouzová, Kateřina (referee)
This thesis deals with influence of stress during transport on selected species of transported animals especially on pigs, cattle and poultry. Each animal deals with stress differently according to its anatomical, physiological and ethological predispositions. Requirements according to these predispositions are described in the theoretical part of thesis. In the end of theoretical part defects of meat which occur as a result of stress are described. In practical part there is a summary of current laws related to transport of living animals, both Czech and European. Current laws are compared with anatomical, physiological and ethological requirements of animals. In the end of thesis the quality of current laws is evaluated and possible future development of transport of living animals is outlined.

Rozdíly ve vnímání stresu u českých a zahraničních studentů
Cwik, Jan
This thesis deals with the differences in the perception of stress in Czech and foreign students. Generally characterizes stress, its symptoms and types. The thesis deals with the size of stress load, especially the measurement itself. Another section deals with stressors, especially their impact on health and psyche of people. Then is mentioned how to cope with stress and how to prevent it.
