A linked-data vocabulary of grey literature document types: Version 1.0
Pejšová, Petra ; Mynarz, Jindřich ; Simandlová, Tereza
The first version of the vocabulary of the types of grey literature in RDF (Resource Description Framework) is based on an analysis of grey literature typologies and a draft version of vocabulary presented on GL12. The draft version of the vocabulary of the types of grey literature was reviewed by 14-member international working group appointed to this purpose. From January until July 6, 2011 42 comments and suggestions were accepted. Subsequently, they were incorporated by the NTK (National Technical Library) team. Changes mainly redefined some collections, some document types were merged and others excluded. The major changes concerned the following collections: monographs, informative materials, datasets and research plans. By our poster we would like to introduce the first version and discuss the possibility of using it by grey literature community. The vocabulary of the types of grey literature is publicly available on http://code.google.com/p/grey-literature-typology/ . The record includes also a poster, which was a part of presentation.

The design study of biotechnical erosion and flood control measures in the catchment of Jičínka river
Škrabal, Tomáš ; Ing.Kateřina Vašinová, PhD., (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The main subject of this diploma thesis is a study of a suggestion of environmentally friendly adjustments in the basin of Jičínka, working as preventive protection against floods. The study contains a research of the stated area using the method of CN-curves in the hydrological model DesQ-MaxQ and the principle of Wischmeier-Smith's equation, in modicication of ArcGIS programme. Based on the analysis, the work suggests an improvement of erosive and drain ratios and then an assessment of effectiveness of the protection. We get the assessment of the effectiveness by comparing the condition of the erosive wash and the surface drain before and after implementation of our measures. The work also sets its goal in calculating the financial returnability of the investition indicatively.

Decomposition methods for time series with irregular observations
Hanzák, Tomáš ; Prášková, Zuzana (referee) ; Cipra, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with extensions of classical exponential smoothing type methods for univariate time series with irregular observations. Extensions of simple exponential smoothing, Holt method, Holt-Winters method and double exponential smoothing which have been developed in past are presented. An alternative method to Wright's modification of simple exponential smoothing for irregular data, based on the corresponding ARIMA process, is suggested. Exponential smoothing of order m for irregular data as a generalization of simple and double exponential smoothing is derived. A similar method using a DLS (discounted least squares) estimation of polynomial trend of order m is derived as well. In all cases the recursive character of these methods is preserved making them easy to implement and high computationally effective. A program in which most of the methods presented here are available is a part of the work. Some numerical examples of their application are also included.
