Heterogeneous Connectivity of Mobile Devices in 5G Wireless Systems
Navzdory nepochybnému pokroku v rámci navržených komunikačních řešení postrádají mobilní sítě nastupující generace dostatečnou šířku pásma a to hlavně kvůli neefektivnímu využívání rádiového spektra. Vědecký přínos dosažených výsledků dokazuje fakt, že některé z principů představených v této disertační práci byly zahrnuty do celosvětově uznávaného standardu (specifikace) 3GPP Release 12.
Multiplatform network implementation of the Risk game
Guth, Robert ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Horký, Vojtěch (referee)
Risk is a computer program for playing the classic version of board game Risk independently on the operating system, enabling multiplayer mode on one or more computers connected through a local network or the internet. Network communication is running according to pre-established protocol, so the Risk can communicate with other programs made for the Risk playing, while they utilize this protocol. Program provides several types of opponents with different difficulties controlled by computer, who are able to challenge both beginners and experienced players. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Game strategy creation and debugging tool
Roztočil, Jan ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Klímek, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to create an implementation of a strategic board game of Risk. A play against computer-controlled opponents will be supported, as well as multiplayer game of human players over the Internet. A design of a reusable communication protocol is also a part of the task. An interface for defining a new computer strategies will be provided within the implementation. The program will be oriented as a tool for develepment of those strategies, it will help to debug strategies within an actual game. The program will support MS~Windows and Linux operating systems.
Emulator for Intelligent Home End Stations
Šutovský, Filip ; Košař, Vlastimil (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of an application emulating end stations in intelligent home system, which are used to measure physical quantities and interact with switches. Application has a comprehensive graphical user interface developed in programming language Java, which allows testing of other system layers and recording of statistical data about emulation contributing to system analysis.
Digital Clock to be set using the NTP Protocol
Vykydal, Lukáš ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this work is the principle of NTP synchronization and required level of network communication. In the second part the work describes design of digital clock which is synchronized using this technique. That way we achieve automatic time adjustment and keeping the time within reasonable error.
Acquisition of data on network communication from terminal devices
Obršlík, Lukáš ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with collecting statistical information about network communication in terminal equipment devices. Theoretical part of this project aims to gather methods and application tools on Windows and Unix platforms and support them by well chosen third party solution to gain more detailed informations. Tools were chosen based on ease of deployment and usage. Practical part of bachelor’s thesis directs to find suitable solution to gather detailed informations about network traffic. Important fact must be to not bother the end-users. Next part is to develop own application for collecting information about network usage and communication. Output format structure of the solution was designed with future data manipulation in mind.
Reducing Peer-to-Peer Network Traffic
Šípoš, Martin ; Tobola, Jiří (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with peer-to-peer detection watching and reducing bandwith. An application was created for this purpose that is able to detect watch and control such networks at application layer or to block specified ports using opensource utilities. The application was created in Java language and is dedicated to Linux operating system.
iPhone as a Universal PC Input Device
Mataj, Lukáš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Ševcovic, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with making of an application, which enables to use mobile appliance iPhone as a wirelles universal input device of a computer. With this application we can simulate a keyboard, a numeric keyboard, a computer mouse, a touchpad and a game controller. We also shortly introduce an appliance iPhone and we get acquainted with the process of application development for this platform.
