Personnel agenda, wages and employee benefits on the farm

The aim of this thesis was to analyse the wage and benefit system, which I did using non-standardised interviews with employees. I was able to identify some gaps in the reward system such as low employee satisfaction and motivation, inequity in the reward system and poor workplace climate. After assessing the situation, I then suggested possible solutions to the management to improve all the deficiencies.

The system of remuneration in a chosen company

This bachelor thesis explores the system of remuneration in a company. The main objective is to assess the effectiveness of the remuneration system in the company and to suggest an improvement which increases the efficiency. The thesis is focused on various types of employee rewarding systems, methods of remuneration and benefits. The practical part describes a particular company and the activities it performs. The information about the company is based on an interview with the service manager. Topics of the interview relate to employee positions, the activities they perform, how they are remunerated, and the benefits they receive. The entire system of remuneration is analysed in this thesis. The efficiency of the system is evaluated by productivity. The practical part includes suggestions for improving the system of remuneration.

Effect of globalization on gender wage gap in Czech Republic

Economic theory provides numerous reasons why globalization might increase or decrease female wages and gender wage gap. Main objective of this study was to study the impact of globalization on gender wage gap in Czech Republic and to understand how different explanatory variables affecting female wages have changed over time. To undertake the research, I considered two different years. First year, 1996, manifested the beginning of globalization in Czech Republic. Second year, 2017, manifested the current peak of globalization. Study utilized two micro datasets, Microcensus 1996, EU-SILC 2017 and sector level macro data. Decomposition of raw gender wage gap was undertaken with Oaxaca Blinder decomposition technique. Results reported that in both the years, female workers had better human capital characteristics and better returns to these characteristics. Therefore, contribution of endowment effect to gender wage gap was negative. Further, foreign direct investment inflows had a positive impact on female wages, but overall, male workers gained more from globalization in both the years. Lastly, female workers were concentrated in those sectors, which received lowest FDI inflows in both the years. Gender pay gap v odvetví peňažníctva a poisťovníctva

The bachelor thesis deals with the wage differences between women and men employed in the sector of financial and insurance activities. The aim of the thesis is to determine wage differences between female and male workers in the sector of financial and insurance activities. In the theoretical part the reader is acquainted with basic terminology related to this issue. Subsequently the method of the research is explained. The practical part describes the current situation in the sector, the results of the questionnaire survey, the calculations of GPG indicator and the attitudes of workers towards gender stereotypes. In the final part the results of the thesis are summarized and solutions leading to improvement of current situation in the area of equal pay are suggested.

Statistická analýza v odvětví stavebnictví České republiky po vstupu do EU

This bachelor thesis deals with statistical analysis in the construction sector of the Czech Republic for the period 2002-2015. The analysis used the following building indicators - building permits, building contracts, housing promotion, employment and wages. The aim of this study is to evaluate the state of the Czech construction industry after EU accession and using methods of time series analysis to prove that the change in time series trend is caused besides by the Czech Republic's accession to the EU.

This diploma thesis deals with the pricing strategy of chosen accounting office. Pricing strategy analysis uses the multidimensional regression model that calculates price based on different services provided to clients related to administration, accounting and payroll. The model is then compared with actual invoiced prices. The thesis also compares the wage level in the company with the median wage of the Czech Republic. In conclusion, pricing strategy for the company, which includes cost and wage levels, and recommendations for a pricing strategy across the entire accounting service industry are proposed.

Bachelor thesis focuses on identification of factors that have the most potential to influence costs of hauliers in the Czech Republic. The coefficients of regression that quantify those relationships are obtained with help of regression analysis. Multidimensional regression models are further used for cost predictions.
