Emo Weather

The artwork was created by linking two thematic areas, mental health and atmospheric phenomena aka weather. I am examining forms of alienation and emotional numbness, which I follow by thematizing the isolation of people from the external environment and manifestations of local weather. I touch upon the topics of current weather representations, such as meteorological satellite images, and last but not least, I contemplate the fact of climate crisis. The work takes the form of a 100-minute long video, a set of 21 paintings by aniline colors on paper, sound track played in a loop and additional literature, texts and sketches available for public.

Title: Use of meteorology and historicalcomparisons atmospheric conditions for yachting and water. Objectives: At work I use two basic methods of research. The method of content analysis and interview. Content analysis, I get the information for the theoretical part of the work, using professional sailing and meteorological publications. Furthermore, the method of non-standardized interview, which I took while visiting Mathematics - Physics Faculty at Charles University, Department of Meteorology and Climatology. Here I have discussed his work with Dr.. Joseph Brechler, PhD. Furthermore, with top windsurfing in the Black foothills and Nechranické dam. Methods: At work I used as a basic research methods method of content analysis and interview. Content analysis, I gained information for the theoretical part, the professional sailing and meteorological publications that deal with the issue. Non-standardized interview method I used when visiting Mathematics - Physics Faculty at Charles University, Department of Meteorology and Climatology. Here I discuss my work with Dr.. Title: Application meteorology and historical comparison between weather(meteorological) conditions for yachting and water sports Objectives: To be making maps about windsurfing sports within specific locations. Prove or disprove scientific research about weather conditions changing from 1980 to 2014 years. It's about yachting and water sports at the same locations. Methods: Diploma is descriptive and analytic article. There are methods like research, selections of sources, analysis of information and final synthesis everything knowledge. Results: Description four water ponds for water sports and analytic work with database about weather conditions in the studying locations. Keywords: Meteorology, wind, spot, water sport, yachting.

The bachelor thesis is occupying with chosen proverbs at the area of the Southern Bohemia in the period 19812010. As a part of my bachelor thesis I have used physical and geographical characteristics of the surveyed area with the focus on its windy conditions. My thesis as well contains the basic information about the athmosphere, proverbs and reformation of the calendar. The main part of bachelor thesis is describing the individual proverbs in detail and is applying several analitical methods for checking the indivisual sayings, their validation and evaluation. Last part of thesis is the outcome of the gathered checkings and evaluation of the given hypothesis.

Measurement of meteorological variables

This bachelor thesis discusses about the basic meteorological variables, especially temperature and airflow. These magnitudes are measured using an anemometer which uses resistive sensors, namely, two thermistors of NTC type that described technology, operations, methods of scanning, sensor placement and implementation of such a device. After that was designed block diagram and circuit diagram. The meter is realized, than we describe the individual components and then is calibrated and tested. In conclusion, it is evaluated for use in medicine.

The goal of this thesis a description of formation clouds and precipitation, mainly focusing on intense precipitation falling out of convective cloud. Evaluated the incidence of torrential rains along the synoptic situation in the areas of Jenin and Vlkov. Data was used from the weather station Jenin and the rain gauge, located in Vlkov.

Vliv chodu počasí na ekonomiku chovu skotu v podhorských oblastech

This thesis is focused on assessing the impact of weather changes on the performance and economics of grazing cattle in the border areas of south Bohemia. The aim of the study was to compare the progress of meteorological parameters observed in three years and put them into the context of the economy of livestock production. In the actual experimental part I focused on the search and processing of data for calculation of economic indicators and processing of meteorological data that provided me with the department of landscape management.

Analysis of the meteorological dates

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to recognize the basics of atmospherical physics, the techniques and measuring instruments used in weather stations and the statistical analysis of three chosen meteorological parameters. Data analysis is made by using graphical display method, which is discussed later on.

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is introduction with the principles of measurement in meteorology. Using this knowledge it’s designed automatic temperature logger with wireless sensors. The acquired data is displayed on the display and further processed. Thesis also deals with the system software.
