Special length sensors
Pavliš, Jakub ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains a theoretical description of selected length sensors with emphasis on inductive and optical sensors. The main benefit of this thesis is the design and realization of a special inductive sensor with a small pressure force and an optical sensor with a resolution of 2.5 nanometers. In the thesis are analyzed the selected metrological properties of the designed sensors and the formulation of recommendations for their practical use.
Uncertainties in interferometric measurements
Kočí, Radek ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with uncertainties of interferometric measurements and methods for their evaluation. In the theoretical part of the thesis, are described interferometers and interferometric measurement techniques. Furthermore, there is presented process of determining the measurement uncertainty using methods GUM and Monte Carlo. In the practical part of the thesis, there are these two methods are used for qualification of measurement uncertainty calculated for the specific interferometer.
Optical measuring instrument SOL 311
Kellerová, Michaela ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The main benefit of this bachelor thesis is the assessment of conformity with the specification in accordance with the ISO GPS system. In the theoretical part, coordinate measuring machines were discussed with emphasis on multisensor measuring machines. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of measured values of components on the CMM SOL 311 according to the standard ČSN EN ISO 14253-1: 2018.
Determination of calibration deadlines devices
Henek, Tomáš ; Polsterová, Helena (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This work describes general function and structure of metrology, and defines methods for calibration interval determination. Further, it describes a Honeywell corporation’s calibration laboratory and gives specific recommendations for usage of method for calibration interval determination in the laboratory.
Software for the calculation of uncertainties in LabVIEW
Lebeda, Roman ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This thesis aims to demonstrate the general issue of uncertainty of direct and indirect measurements. This general problem is then processed in a particular case of indirect measurement of resistive load devices using Agilent 34410A. Finally, to calculate the uncertainty of indirect measurement of resistive loads in a program designed in LabVIEW.
Introduction of measurement methodology using 3D scanning technology into mechanical production
Klein, Adam ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on comparison of the commonly used method of tactile measurement with 3D scanning methods for their introduction into engineering production. The first part summarizes the current state with the description of measurement technologies with emphasis on 3D technologies and their versatile use. The second part presents a practical comparison of three types of measuring devices on a selected component of a bicycle. After numerical and graphical evaluation of the measurement results, these values are further statistically processed and the measurement uncertainties are calculated. The final part of the work evaluates the whole process and presents practical suggestions, options and recommendations.
Standards for measuring plane angle and shape deviations on CMM
Lipták, Matúš ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of selecting suitable standards for measurement of plane angle and shape deviations on coordinate measuring machines. As for the shape deviations, the characteristics of straightness and roundness have been processed in this thesis. The selected standards are then used to calibrate chosen CMMs, including the optical CMM SOL 311 and the articulated arm AACMM Hexagon Absolute Arm 83 Compact. The thesis also includes general theoretical knowledge in the field of metrology and the current state of measurement using CMMs. The experimental part is focused on carrying out the measurements during CMM calibration, followed by the identification and quantification of individual uncertainty components. Finally, the obtained results of the measured geometrical characteristics on individual CMMs are evaluated and compared with each other.
Measurement of process variable – pressure
Kouba, Martin ; Hammer, Miloš (referee) ; Konečný, Antonín (advisor)
The measurement of the process quantity of pressure is an important element and condition of the functionality of many industrial applications, especially in the environment of commodity production, transport, pharmacy, food industry and many others. In practise, there are many pressure measurement methods that are applied in different environments and conditions. The choice of measuring equipment depends on many factors, such as the measurement range, environment, sensitivity, response speed, or environmental resistance. The correct procedure in their calibration and determination of measurement uncertainties increase the credibility of the measurement results. The means of data transfer in a modern concept make it possible to better secure and speed up the transfer of information in the measurement chain. All of the above-mentioned facts, in sequence and in relation to each other, fundamentally affect the resulting reliability and effectiveness of the measurement of the process quantity. The study of the measurement of the process quantity of pressure from a comprehensive point of view will allow us to analyse the individual elements of the measuring chain and their interconnection. The content of the thesis provides a basic orientation to the issue of pressure measurement and captures the main trends in individual areas.
Accuracy of engineering products in manufacturing
Škoda, Zdeněk ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the precision of engineering products in high-volume custom manufacturing. Engineering metrology has undergone significant innovations in recent decades to unify the evaluation approaches of quality and accuracy of engineering products. The main contribution of the thesis is a proposal for the implementation of new procedures in the quality control process in the company. To justify the introduction of the new philosophies into the existing processes used in the collaborating company, the thesis includes experiments in which the differences between the old and new approaches are compared. Based on the evaluation of the experiments, measures suitable for implementation are recommended.
Uncertainty in the measurement of parameters of photovoltaic modules of different technologies
Telíšek, Antonín ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is devoted to the determination of uncertainties in the measurement of parameters of photovoltaic panels produced by different manufacturing technologies. The production technologies of different types of photovoltaic panels, introduction to the issue of uncertainties and measurement of volt-ampere characteristics of photovoltaic panels are presented. This measurement by flash method will be realized on solar simulator Pasan Sun Sim 3c. From the measured characteristics the basic parameters of the PV cells and their uncertainties will be determined.
