The building is designed so that in terms of design and implementation easily accomplishable. Furthermore, to meet all the requirements for building physics and fire safety. During seminar work was solved problems of summer overheating of the room situated on the south side of the building. For the preparation of project documentation for construction was used CAD software and specialized software for structural calculations of statics and construction.
Rodinný dům s prodejnou
Kučera, Lukáš
The thesis theme is the design of a family home with a shop in the ground floor, located on the land of the current building for demolition. The property is designed for a family of four working from home. This is a non-basement house, with the shop on the ground floor being a walled and residential part of a wooden frame structure. The work is divided into text and drawing sections with attachments. The text section contains basic explanations of the used frame structure of the woodwork, the issue of barrier-free use of structures needed for the proposed house, criteria of low-energy buildings, options with dealing with flat roofs and fire safety of buildings. The practical part involves creating a documentation of the demolition works to obtain a permit for the removal of the structure and then creating the design documentation of the new building using two structural systems. The work also includes thermal technical assessment of perimeter structures and assessment of the building's fire safety.
Polyfunkční objekt s dřevěnou nosnou konstrukcí
Rychlý, Vojtěch
This thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional building in the village of Vršovice, which is to return social and community life to the surroundings of the local sports ground in the outskirts of the village. The structural system of the building is designed in the form of a glued laminated timber skeleton structure, supplemented by flat structural elements made of cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels, creating an open space for the layout of the restaurant and its operation on the first floor, facilities for private associations on the second floor and an apartment for the building manager in the attic part of the building. The building is designed on a slope with a partial basement. The design is developed in accordance with the current legislation and standards, takes into account the thermal technical requirements for the external walls of the building for a low-energy house, the acoustics of the interior space and complements the design with a fire safety solution and partly the structural design of the building.
Occupational Safety and Health - The Development of a Training for Science Camp Leadors and Instructors
Maťáková, Jana ; Stratilová Urválková, Eva (advisor) ; Gajdošová, Veronika (referee)
The Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, together with the Prague 10 Youth House organises science camps outside Prague and in Prague, at Faculty of Science, every year. All camp leaders must be trained in occupational health and safety (OSH) before the start of the camp to ensure maximum safety of all participants. So far, temporary material has been used for training, a presentation that did not fully meet the requirements of the camp management. Therefore, the aim of the work was to develop suitable didactic materials for OSH training for leaders at science camps. The theoretical part of the thesis compares presentations on OSH available on internet, which however proved to be unsuitable for the required purpose. The practical part describes the developer products, didactic materials, which can be found in the appendixes. These are a guideline that is primarily intended for the trainer and three presentations that are intended for face-to-face training. The guideline serves as a help for trainers who will offer the training in OSH.

Kindergarten
Bíla, Martin ; Vlach, František (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to prepare design documentation for the construction of a kindergarten in Velká Bíteš. The object is designed as a detached, two above-ground floors, and non-basement building. It is located on a fairly flat terrain near the central part of the city. Kindergarten building has four sections for children. Each section is for twenty children, a total of eighty children are designed for the object. The structural system of the object is a longitudinal wall, made of hollow brick heluz. The building is equipped with contact insulation made of EPS (ETICS). Floor structure is solved as a consist of prestressed hollow core slabs spiroll. In the 2nd floor there is a walkable terrace with a growing layer. The flat roof of the object is warm extensive green roof with walkable concrete parts with photovoltaic panels. Part of the work is also an assessment from the point of view of building physics and fire safety.
The fire prevention in a specific manufacturing company
LUKEŠOVÁ, Markéta
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the level of fire safety in manufacturing companies in the Czech Republic and to find any possible shortcomings in its security. The result of the work is achieved by comparing the fire security measures in one specific manufacturing company in the Czech Republic and one in the Federal Republic of Germany. The work is divided into two parts. The first part deals with a theoretical interpretation of the issue of fire safety, which tries to explain the legislative framework of fire protection and prevention in manufacturing companies. This part in followed by a basic description of fire-safety documentation and obligations associated with operating activities in manufacturing companies. The practical part addresses the specific aspects of ensuring fire safety of the two selected manufacturing companies and seeks the most objective comparison of these indicators. As a result, the demanded level of the fire protection provision between the Czech and the German manufacturing company is determined.
Preventive fire guard activities
MERTLÍK, Josef
The aim of the bachelor's work on the "Action of preventive fire patrols" is to examine the familiarity of the inclusion of individual members of the Preventive Fire Watch in the workplace. Determination of staff knowledge of preventive fire watch and facilities of preventive fire patrol. The bachelor's work is first focused on the theoretical part. Using expert literature, laws and decrees that withdraw to the issue of fire protection and specifically to the activities of preventive fire patrols, there is a compilation of the supporting documents used to meet the stated aim of bachelor's work. The reader is familiar with the operation of the fire rescue system. For the theory of preventive fire patrols, the conditions under which they are set up and the training sessions must be undertaken by members of the preventive fire watch. The practical part of the work focuses on research on the knowledge of individual employees. A questionnaire investigation with 14 questions was used for research. The respondents came from one business and consisted of both members of the Preventive Fire Patrol and non-members of the Preventive Fire Patrol. The responder to the questionnaire questions were analysis for the information obtained, comparing, and evaluating the individual responses. Through the charts, there was a clear representation of the evaluation of the individual responses. After an overall assessment of all responses, the correct responses were just 7%, it´s clear that most of the knowledge of the respondents does not achieve the expected results. Staff take part in regular training sessions, vet the information received from such training has not been adequately reflected in the correct responses to the questionnaires. The benefit of this bachelor's work is the compilation of obligations under legislation that can be drawn on by an entrepreneur who is under a new obligation to set up a fire watch. Furthermore, also to a businessperson who already has that obligation, whether they fulfil all their obligations sufficiently and to the right extent.
Energy-efficient house for doctors and nurses in the city of Kroměříž.
Dvořák, Petr ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to design the project documentation of an energy-efficient house for doctors and nurses, located near the hospital in Kroměříž. The work is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the architectural and construction design of the building. The second part deals with the design of the technical equipment of the building and its layout. The third part deals with the design and comparison of different cooling sources. The building is a two-storey building with a flat, vegetated roof and its design is in the building permit stage. On the ground floor there is a bistro, a dining room with food preparation, technical rooms and 3 apartments. On the second floor there are 9 apartments and a lounge. In the middle of the building there is a circulation area with a staircase, a glass elevator and a large skylight that illuminates the whole area. Heating is provided by a gas condensing boiler. Ventilation is provided by three air handling units. A hybrid cooling system with heat recuperation from the refrigerant is designed. For partial electricity demand, 62 photovoltaic panels are installed on the roof of the building. The third part deals with the design of alternative cooling solutions for the building. Multi split, VRV and water cooling system with roof top chiller are proposed in addition to the already designed hybrid system. These four alternatives are compared with each other and the most suitable option is then designed.
