The Bachelor’s thesis focuses on improvement of supply management and stocks optimalization in the non-manufacturing company. By indexes of effectivity of stocks management is analyzed the current situation in the company. Similarly, indexes are used to evaluate what advantages could be achieved on supply management and stocks optimalization by using these methods to fulfill goals. These methods are used to set optimal stocks, ABC analysis, Economic Order Quantity and evaluation of suppliers.

The aim of this master thesis is to propose a new operation arrangements for the packaging of auto lights used in private vehicles. For this solution had been used a theoretical knowledge from large areas of logistics, production management, lean manufacturing methodologies, and even the practical experience and knowledge of the particular conditions of the company. Conducted research has detected a critical areas in the company and there was designed a system to remove them. The results of this study allow implementing certain measures, which will improve the company efficiency and increase its competitiveness.

The Study of Effectiveness the Inventory Management

The Bachelor´s thesis focuses on the study of effectiveness the inventory management in the manufacturing company. Basic terms such as inventory classification, purchasing, storage and production management are defined in the theoretical part of the thesis. The current inventory management in this particular economical subject is described in the practical part of the thesis. The Bachelor´s thesis analyses the established process that is currently used for the inventory management by using the ABC analysis, the analysis of the inventory turnovers and similar methods with goal to improve the effectiveness.

Inventory Management System

My thesis involves in characteristics and implementation of inventory management system. Theoretical part contains particular systems, both deterministic and stochastic. Several examples are used for implementation, which are then algorithmized. Trivial equations are used in deterministic systems. In stochastic systems I used an element of randomness, which is simulated by pseudo random number generator. The result is a complex computer program, in which there is possible to evaluate all models mentioned here, with their own input values. The program then yields both numerical values and graphical output.

Proposal for Material Supply Improvement of Switchgears Assembly

This master‘s thesis deals with the issue of material supply of switchgear assembly of the ABB Company. The thesis mainly focuses on the material manipulation process and storage process. The master‘s thesis analyzes the aforementioned processes in detail and defines their limitations. Based on the identified limitations this thesis proposes concrete improvements for waste reduction which will ultimately lead to minimizing the company’s cost.
