The system of quality costs management in the chosen company

The quality of products is the biggest competitive advantage that a company can achieve. The definition states that quality is the degree of compliance requirement with a set of inherent characteristics. The importance of quality have very increased in recent years - quality is a decisive factor for stable economic growth of enterprises, management quality is the most important protective factor of the loss of markets, quality is a major source of saving materials and energy, the quality affects of macroeconomic indicators, the quality is a limiting factor for the sustainable development , quality and consumer protection are connected vessels. Quality costs are the total costs incurred by producers, users and companies associated with the quality of the product. The quality costs of the manufacturer is divided into four basic groups: the costs of prevention, assessment, costs of external defects and internal defects.
The quality management system in the selected company

The aim of this thesis was to analyze the current situation in the quality management system and disclosure of reserves selected company. Then based on the findings outlined measures to improve the quality management system. After the analyzes, it was found that the introduction of a quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9001 is a set and treated very well. The Company complies in most cases, rules, standards, guidelines, which presents the standard. In manufacturing and other parts of the organizational structure there are no problems related to the quality of manufactured products.
Estimation in the planning of IS/ICT projects and metrics for the monitoring of projects from the point of view of ISO/IEC norms.

This thesis deals with issues surrounding the management of IS/ICT projects, primarily from the point of view of ČSN ISO/IEC norms. I will list and analyse those norms used to define important indicators and processes, which are subsequently mapped to PMBOK process groups. Every norm is accompanied by a brief evaluation describing its suitability for use in IS/ICT projects, its anticipated benefits and the approach taken in its application. The next part of the thesis consists of an analysis of norms from the point of view of methods of estimation in the planning of IS/ICT projects. An analysis is made of the majority of norms that directly or tangentially affect estimation in the planning of IS/ICT projects. The practical section of the thesis contains a metric for the monitoring of projects from the point of view of ISO/IEC norms and the dissemination of the "MMaHPISICTv5.7" model, as created by Ondřej Kmoníček in the thesis "Sledování a vyhodnocování IT projektů - Monitoring and Evaluation of IT Projects" [38]. The model is supplemented by ISO/IEC metrics and also other functionalities, focussing primarily on the depiction of individual metrics over a period of time.
Comparison of effectiveness of different quality management systems in a given company

For this work a firm called ČSAD JIHOTRANS a. s., which provides transport services and holds certified norms ČSN EN ISO 9001, ČSN EN ISO 14001 a ČSN EN ISO 22000, was chosen. The goal of this thesis was to analyse the quality management system in the company with specialisation on ?regular and irregular transport of passengers?, to compare constituent conceptions of quality management and to suggest potential changes. In the main part a research in the chosen company is described. This research is aimed on an analysis of costs related to quality, the development of reclamations, a questionnaire examination for an evaluation of customer satisfaction, the efficiency of the process ?regular and irregular transport of passengers? and a comparison of constituent conceptions of quality management.

The quality, providing the right comprehension of the meaning, is the key factor of any successful company. There are a few reasons why companies are more and more interested in quality. In the nowadays oversaturated markets the quality could be perceived as a competitive advantage. Modern-day client is choosy and don{\crq}t put up with anything ordinary. Clients´ sensibility to the level of quality of the products is constantly raising. Including the factor of quality to the goals of the company decrease costs, for example repairs costs, and increase revenues, for example revenues from increasing market share. The quality of goods and services is also required by law, for example protection of rights available to consumer. This bachelor work is focused on a quality management of the given company STAVCENT a.s.. The company was established in 1992 and became a construction company that attend to the complex solutions and executions of industry, civil and housing units in the South Bohemia. STAVCENT a.s. is linked to the longstanding tradition, comming into being in 1950 with formating of municipal construction companies, in the field of construction and service of buildings. The company is aware of increasing stress on the required quality of goods and services. In 2006, with a view of gaining a competitive advantage, the quality management system was instituted . This system is inovated and maintained. Thanks to certification of tree systems of quality the company gained ,, Golden certificate{\crqq}. STAVCENT a.s. can be proud of cerficates - ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. As it was derived from the analysis of the quality management of the given company, the level of the quality management is high. In evidence of the high level there is a certificate ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001. The company carry on increasing of the level of the quality of provided services because this is the main way of acquiring new clients and maintain the old ones.

Second part is orientated on implementation of selected methods in public organization in Czech Republic.
