Wireless sensor based on LoRa technology
Pospíšil, Jan ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Troják, David (advisor)
The bachelor thesis in theoretical part is focused on wireless technologies used for home control and automation devices where low power consumption is required. There are mentioned possibilities of each technology, energy requirements, range and throughput. The result of practical part is design and construction of a wireless temperature sensor which uses LoRa technology to communicate with a gateway and is also capable to last on battery for years. Additional feature is user possibility to use GPIO pins in form of relays. The task also covers design and construction of a gateway which listens for LoRa packets and communicates with PHP application on server side. Last step of practical part is focused on design of PHP application, which is responsible for visualization of received data.
Home Automation with Third-Party Sensors
Macháč, Matej ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Košař, Vlastimil (advisor)
The aim of this work is to evaluate possibilities to integrate wireless devices for home automation in BeeeOn system developed on the Faculty of Information Technology in Brno. This thesis describes USB modules that allow connenction to these devices. It describes the communication protocols that the modules can handle and devices using these protocols. It also deals with FHEM system, its features and possibilities of communication with the BeeeOn system. A reader can also find decription of implementation of every module created to provide support of wireless devices to the gate of BeeeOn system.
Wireless Communication in Home Automation
Prokop, Michal ; Gutman, Jiří (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about how to make wireless communication network by IQRF technology which is intended for a home automation. It’s created by using DPA custom handler. This network can be made without programming thanks to DPA custom handler. This wireless network is realized by light model that is controlled by coordinator or by a button on a node. After that I measured latency and energy consumption on several various synchronous network and asynchronous network.
Wireless weather station
Mieržwinský, Leon ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a prototype wireless home weather station. The goal is to measure the air temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. Measured data are stored in external memory and it is posibility to send to the computer for subsequent processing and evaluation.
Wireless Voting System
Slezák, David ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and implementation of wireless voting system based on the IQRF technology. The thesis describes mentioned IQRF technology and compares its features with others wireless technologies. It also describes the architecture design and communication protocol of the proposed system. The system consists of device conected to computer which collects data from the voting stations. The core of the thesis is the implementation of this components and implementation of control application for the computer. In conclusion, discussed the achievements and possible improvements.
The construction of wireless alarm system
Brudný, Tomáš ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The object of this project was to develop a security device, which would consist of several detectors and one central unit. The central unit is communicating with authorized detectors wire-less with using the high-frequency modules IQRF from Microrisc. Central unit is thanks USB interface, small size and by using PC easy configurable. Designed detectors are provided with a Li-ion accumulator, which can by charge by integrated solar cells. The detector also includes input interface, which can by use to expand the detector of another kind of sensing element.
Energy Self-sufficient Wireless Module for Sensoric Applications
Jacko, Róbert ; Botta, Miroslav (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Masters thesis deals with design and practical implementation of wireless sensor module. The primary requirement for this module is its energy self-sufficiency. In this context, the work gets to the subject of "energy harvesting". Then, in terms of energy requirements, several wireless communication platforms which are favorable for the selected application, are compared. From mentioned technologies was chosen communication platform IQRF. The next parts deals with initial prototype of sensor module, which will be demonstrated as the application of measuring wind direction. This paper describes the hardware and software solution. Followed by a detailed analysis of its properties in terms of energy requirements. Based on the obtained measurements resource parameters are set.

Lighting control system using a wireless communication network
Levek, Vladimír ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create and describe the wireless system for lighting control. A part of the work is the creation of modules for switching lighting and the creation of their operating programs. The first chapter briefly describes the way how the lighting control works and contains general requirements for the intelligent home. Further, there is a description of IQRF system, which serves as a wireless platform for the system. Next part of the thesis describes individual modules in terms of hardware and software. One part of the work covers the description of the transmission protocol. The attachment includes a listing of all operating programs for this wireless control system.
Four legged walking robot
Fischer, Jan ; Krištůfková Dvorská, Jolana (referee) ; Neužil, Tomáš (advisor)
The object of this thesis is an analysis of the possibilities of a wireless communication and a sensor‘s equipment for a four legged walking robot. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part there is a particular sale’s exploration in the section of the wireless communication modules. It refers to the differences among technologies in the methods of signal transmission, the technical parameters but also in the communication protocols. The next part of this thesis is focused on sensor’s equipment with the accent on the possibility of use for a four legged walking robot. It contains a short listing of sensors, which are available in the Czech Republic with division based on the type of sensing magnitude. These two parts make a base for the last part where I have chosen suitable communication modules along with sensors and realization wireless data transfer including control and visualization. The result of this thesis is the complete communication block from the user to the robot.
