Business Plan

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a realistic and applicable business plan for a new business – a forest nursery. The diploma work is divided into four main parts. Part one describes the objective and methodology of work. Followed by the second part, a theoretical one, in which the theoretical knowledge and the starting point needed to create the business plan are described and explained. In the third part, I analysed, with help of the theoretical knowledge, the current market situation and the internal and external business environment. The last part includes suggestions for the business plan and is closed with a final summary and recommendations, which should contribute to the establishment and to the further development of the firm in the future.

Využití půdních rotačních fréz s horizontální osou rotace v zemědělství a lesnictví

The aim of the work was to verify the performance and design working quality performance of rotary milling machines with horizontal axis of rotation in artificial forest regeneration, support of natural forest regeneration in selected forest stands and in agriculture with different soil and terrain conditions. The measurement was carried out on four different carrier cutters, each machine carrying a different soil milling machine. Measurements took place in various environments as well as soil types, crops or quality requirements for the work performed. In this work are compared performance of given carriers, in terms of aggregation with individual models of milling machines. The tables show the most important parameters such as average fuel consumption, average area efficiency and fuel consumption to area efficiency. Furthermore, there is an evaluation of the quality of the work done.

South Bohemian ensembles of natural horns with a focus on the ensemble Jihočeští trubači

This bachelor thesis is focused on music ensembles of natural French horns operating in the South Bohemian region. In the general part of the thesis I deal with basic data about history of natural French horns and their use (with a focus on hunting music). The core of the thesis is treatise on the origin, history, repertoire and activities of the contemporary South Bohemian ensembles of natural French horns (South Bohemian Trumpeters, Pootavští Trumpeters the trumpeters from the region bordering the Otava river, Povltavští Trumpeters the trumpeters from the region bordering the Vltava/ Moldau river and Trumpeters of the OMS Tábor). Considering my own practice I focus more closely in my thesis on the activity of the largest one of these ensembles, the South Bohemian Trumpeters music ensemble. In the at-tachment you can find photos of these music ensembles, concert programs and samples from repertoires of the South Bohemian ensembles.

Forest management of the Dominican order in the Mimoň region

This thesis deals with the forest management of the Dominican Order in Mimoň area. Specifically, it focuses mainly on the area of Hamr nad Jezerem, in the years 1931-1938 and the last years of the active duty of the Directorate of the Dominican forest management in 1945-1950. The emphasis of the thesis is based on the description of the previously uncharted historical chapter of the Dominican order in this area, especially with regard to the economic activity of the forest administration in this given period and legal aspects of the whole issue with the acquisition, loss and subsequent efforts to return these properties. The Fund no. 37 in the Archive of the Dominican order, deposited in the 1st Department of the National archive in Prague, was used as the main source, subsequently supplemented by specialized and professional literature, an interview with the legal representative of the Dominican order in Prague in the case of restitution and also by few internet resources. The development of small company in a forestry

The Master’s thesis deals with analyzing of small company carrying business in forestry. On the basis of this analysis suggests strategic targets which are important for another growth and development of the company. Together with implementation schedule of individual activities are in this thesis suggested targets of solution. They are designed with a view to meet the requirements of company.
