Susceptibility of Individual Fish Species to Koi Herpes Viral Disease - a research study
KOSTLÁN, Jakub
Koi herpes viral disease (hereinafter referred to as "KHVD") is a dangerous viral disease, outbreak of which was recorded in Israel in 1998 for the first time. Due to exhibitions and international fish trade it spread almost to the whole world in the course of the next 17 years and it caused a loss of many tonnes of both breed and consumption carp as well as it inflicted significant economic losses calculated in the tens millions of dollars. The European Union has added the koi herpes viral disease, due to its hazards, to the list of non-exotic diseases. Since 2008 there is a duty to report this infection in the Czech Republic as well. Koi herpes virus classified in the system of viruses as Cyprinid herpesvirus 3 (CyHV-3) is considered the infective agent. Koi carp (Cyprinus carpio koi) and common carp (Cyprinus carpio carpio) are considered the main species susceptible to KHVD. However, it has been proved that the virus may be also detected in tissues of other fish species and in some of them clinical symptoms may appear. It is of high degree of probability that such fish species may play the role of viral communicants and this presumption has already been proved in some species in experimental conditions. With a view to the fact that koi herpes viral disease is incurable and application of a vaccine is impossible in the Czech Republic, for protection of fish breeding it is crucial to prevent bringing the disease in the territory. Mass fish perish caused by KHVD shall be prevented by strict inspection processes of the imported and exported fish, monitoring of the disease spread and responsible breeders' approach. The major objective of this work was to summarise available information about koi herpes viral disease and susceptibility of the individual fish species to this dangerous viral infectious disease in a form of a research study.

Afterwards is this part also dedicated to the classification of idioms and to their internal structure and function. In the second analytic part, the selected sample of idioms is formally analyzed, i.e. according to the internal structure of an idiom and also by the semantic view (polysemy, possible interpretations, motivation). Than, the possibilities of syntactic manipulation and internal transformations of idioms are indicated. The main attention is paid to the translatological analysis of the selected sample of idioms and to the possibilities of their translation to the czech language. The aim of this diploma thesis is to observe the degree of equivalence when translating idiomatic connections, or to indicate possibilities of their translation to the czech language. Kratochvíl, Jan ; Blažková, Miloslava (advisor) ; Hauser, Michael (referee)
The thesis are focused on the Czech author and philosopher Ladislav Klíma. The core topics are analyses of the philosophical systém, which is called Egosolisms, created by him. In the first part I have dissected the method thanks to which Klíma reached his view. The theses take into special consideration his "universal sense" and time. The thesis also mention Klíma's transition from theoretical thinking to formulations of particular ethical principles which the author also practised during his life. Furthermore the whole system is examined from a conceivable point of view and some contradictions are revealed. These contradictions are pointing out that more likely we are handeling with a particular confession rather than a effort to bring a certain inner cohesive systém of statements. The thesis are also researching to what degree do Klima's thoughts come from authors in whose connections it is spoke about Klima's work. The comperation basically is between Klima and Schopenhauer's conception of will and Nietzsche's conception of time. In the second part I was mainly dealing with Klima's ethic conclusions and suggestions, his criticism of Christianity and his approach to death and mortality. There is a tendency to show that despite of the verbal assaulting book Klima takes over a lot from religious forms of...

According to the statistic data a discipline of health care has the great number of "occupational diseases" cases and they are caused by overdone physical load and mental stress. The important parts are the options for a prevention and a reduction of the load and the methods of relaxation and rest. I used two types of questionnaires for my research, the first one was non standard which was focused on the individual targets and the other one was the standard Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire focused on finding a degree of burnout in individual cases. The research was carried out in General University Hospital and in Thomayer University Hospital in Prague. There were compared two departments- a department of internal medicine and a department of surgery in intensive care. The conclusions of my research are: H1: the increased level of load was found in both cases, in the department of internal medicine is dominant the mental stress and in the department of surgery it is...
