Experimental methodology of measuring
Lojková, Lea ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This work is focused on the development of a thorough study about ISO standards focused on the vehicle dynamics, standardized tests of vehicle dynamics and measured variables that allow us to describe and model the behaviour of riding vehicles properly. In the Appendix A of the thesis, there is a list of all known ISO standards dealing with given topic. The standard ISO 15037-1 Road vehicles – Vehicle dynamics test methods, Part 1: General conditions for passenger cars is described in detail, including the forms for test reports and the Appendix C and D. In the thesis, there is also described a model of minimal needed measuring system that is still in good accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1 and fulfills all its requirements. Detailed description of all used sensors that are used to measure required variables is given, as well as a short description of all sensors that are used for measurement of other variables. After that, measurement abilities of the instrumentation of measuring system RIO used in ÚADI FSI Brno is compared and confronted with requirements given by the standard, to see, if all given criteria are properly fulfilled. Because of the fact that standard-given criteria are quite mild, while the equipment of the faculty is high-level technology, mostly made directly for measuring of dynamic parameters of the vehicles, including racing vehicles, the system is in full accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1.

Partial aim is to fully and clearly describe the very principle of functioning of capital markets in a clear and understandable way. The aim is also analysis of selected investment instrument, evaluation of the risk and impact assessment of possible loss of funds to the investor, which has to be take into consideration in each investment. Since the thesis is about investing in the capital markets, the risk of loosing of the invested funds is relatively high. This thesis also characterizes the way in which this risk can be eliminated as much as possible to achieve the desired return on investment.

Evolution of instrumentation in radiotherapy. (e-learning program)
STOLBENKO, Pavel
The first experiments with therapeutical applications of X-rays were carried out as early as after Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen{\crq}s discovery. This period was rather an experimental stage of irradiation, full of errors. Due to primitive technical equipment, lack of knowledge of X-rays biological effects and zero protection these early experiments had mostly fatal consequences both for doctors and their patients. After natural radioactivity had been discovered and radium was used in medicine, the results were similar. The beginning of the 20th century saw a growing interest in radiotherapy. First books were published summarising the knowledge in the field of X-ray therapy and radiotherapy. The technical equipment, however, was not good enough to enable irradiation of an appropriate quality, mainly in the case of deep tumours. Later, after the First World War, efficient power sources being developed, the era of deep irradiation therapy took off. Also in the field of radiotherapy rapid progress was recorded. Radium being available, first {\clq}qradium`` bombs came into existence for external irradiation. During the 20s of the 20th century, the efficiency of therapeutical appliances was gradually improved. This process was later limited by their design. The 30s brought progress in particles accelerators and megavoltaic therapy. During this period radioactive elements began to be used after artificial radioactivity had been discovered. The Second World War and nuclear weapons brought unexpected possibilities in the field of radiotherapy {--} many new radioisotops, accelerators and computer technology {--} this is what remained after the most terrible conflict in the history and what modern radiotherapy is technically based on.

Main Czech Pieces for Woodwind Quintet
Javůrek, Jiří ; HLAVÁČ, Jiří (advisor) ; MAREŠ, Vlastimil (referee)
The aim of this work is to serve a complex view of the woodwind quintet repertoire and it deals with the principal works for woodwind quintet of the Czech composers. Woodwind quintet is a stable name for following group of the five wood instruments ? flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn. The repertoire is nowadays growing up because of the growing popularity of this group but this work covers only with Antonín Rejcha?s, Bohuslav Foerster?s, Leoš Janáček?s, Pavel Haas?s, Václav Trojan?s and Iša Krejčí?s works and it puts stress on the formal and harmonic analysis. In all pieces of work of the mended composers are insignificant elements of the Czech folklore which, thanks to Czech woodwind repertoire, is spread all over the world.

Technical equipment in molecular microbiology diagnostic, Real Time PCR and End Point PCR methods confrontation
Kašparová, Eva ; Pavlík, Emil (advisor) ; Pavlíková, Andrea (referee)
Technical equipment in molecular microbiology diagnostic - Real Time PCR and End Point PCR method confrontation The disetration is dividend into three parts : -equipment of the diagnostic methods applied in microbiology -identification of the instruments used for molecular diagnostics -Real Time PCR and End Point PCR methods comparation Theoretical passage of this diploma thesis deals with general characteritics of molecular diagnostic metods used in microbiological laboratories - such as hybridisation, polymerase chain reaction and infections agens detection. There is also description of technical equipment necessary for execution of these methods in both small laboratory operations and automated systems. The practical passage indicates Real Time PCR and End Point PCR method confrontation focused on Nested PCR. This comparison is based on theoretical knowledge and laboratory practice and work experience.

Valuation of Credit Derivatives
Davidová, Věra ; Witzany, Jiří (advisor) ; Myška, Petr (referee)
Credit derivatives are very interesting financial instrument both theoretically and practically. Their valuation has become an often discussed topic during the financial crisis since 2007. First part of this work is dedicated to standard types of credit derivatives, mainly to description of their character and to information about the historical development and also about the actual situation on the credit derivative market. However, this work is primarily focused on valuation of more complicated credit derivatives, namely Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO), where modeling of correlation between underlying assets is required e.g. by copula functions. Then it deals with the mechanism of allocation of cash flow from underlying portfolio to CDO debt tranches, which is called financial waterfall. The goal of this work is to estimate price of a derivative by simulation methods and to examine an impact of changes in correlation structure inside portfolio, in recovery rates of assets and in other parameters of valuation. This valuation runs on real data about traded derivative, so it can be compared to its market value.

Piano duet. The Possibilities for Educational and Artistic Work
Voplakalová, Olga ; Palkovská, Jana (advisor) ; Gregor, Vít (referee)
The main topic of my thesis is Piano duet - with possible application in education and artistic performance. Piano duets are two kinds: those for two players at one instrument, and those in which each of the two pianists has an instrument to himself. This thesis is divides into four chapters. The first one contains historical overview of the piano duets development. The second chapter provides examples of various national or international competitions and the most famous czech and foreign professional piano duets. Next chapter deals with specific technical issues of piano duets, for example selection o f piano partner or selection of repertoire. The last chapter focuses on piano duets instructions at czech music schools. It also provides some examples o f instructive literature for preschool children and pupils o f the elementary and middle schools. This thesis is an account of piano duets from the educational and artistic aspects. It is not systematic methodological text for piano teachers but it can cast light on issues of piano duets and provides them basic information. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Pokles cen akcií v ex-dividend den a efektivnost trhů s akciovými opcemi
Křížek, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Stádník, Bohumil (referee) ; Svoboda, Martin (referee)
This paper analyses options/warrants price behavior around an ex-dividend day of underlying shares. Both equity options as financial instruments traded on options exchanges, and warrants/certificates as OTC financial instruments are analyzed. First, the paper analyzes the ex-dividend day share price drop. Findings of this part are further used to analyze the impact of unexpected share price decline on options prices. Further, the paper focuses on volumes of traded options contracts and changes in options prices around the ex-dividend day. The paper focuses on European shares and related options and warrants. The options data was collected from the options exchange EUREX and also from several OTC sources -- Vontobel, Lang & Schwarz, Erste, and xMarkets by Deutsche Börse. The main aim of the paper is to identify market inefficiencies in trading in and valuation of equity options. There are two main conclusions that around the ex-dividend day there is a significantly increased trading activity and the call options depreciate whereas put options appreciate between the cum-dividend and the ex-dividend day. This shows insufficient implementation of the share price drops into options valuation models of options dealers or investors / speculators. Further an impact of unexpected share price behavior was analyzed but no particular pattern has been identified. The impact of the unexpected share price drop (either too high or too low) has ambiguous implications on the options prices. Finally, ways how to utilize on knowledge of inefficient trading in options around the ex-dividend day were suggested. The suggestions were done both from the perspective of an investor / speculator and of an options dealer.

The ways how to lead a delivery and care during puerperium in relation to prevention of postpartum incontinence
Křížová, Michaela ; Popelka, Jiří (advisor)
Urinary incontinence is defined as the involuntary loss of urine that is objectively demonstrable. It is an increasingly prevalent problem as the ageing population expands. It is a severe social and hygienic problem. In the end of the 20th century, the specialists have started addict to questions if pregnancy and labour are related to increase incidence of urinary incontinence. There are no signifiant studies which can evidently confirm consequences of pregnancy and labour to rise of urinary incontinence. One of the mechanizm how to prepare body for labour, during pregnancy, is increasing of an elastic component part of pelvic floor. Unfortunately exactly the same mechanizm support occurance of urinary incontinence. Very important condition which is participant in incidence of postpartum incontinence is vaginal delivery. So we can see an increasing interest in describing mechanizm of traumatism pelvic floor during labour and interest in finding the ways of the optimal managment of labour to reduce harm effect on pelvic floor. Studies reveals that the more incidence of inzult of pelvic floor and anal sfincter is occured after an instrumental labour. Episiotomy is one of the most provided labours operations. The opinions to episiotomy are not uniform. Some studies reveals decreasing of third degree ruptured...
