Kheil, Adam ; Zajíček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vopravil, Jiří (referee)
Czech Republic same as many other countries has a national debt. Each state is looking for ways how to reduce their national debt and at best completely repay it. One of the potential sources of money for the state can be taxing the prostitution industry. Everybody knows what prostitution is but nobody can imagine how big the amount of money that revolves in this shadow market is and how many people work in this industry. This business is very well hidden especially to tax authorities in most countries and it is very sophisticated. Nobody neither politicians in the Czech Republic do not want to speak about this topic and try to find a common solution beneficial to all parties. This paper focuses more on prostitution in brothels and flats which sex workers renting for their work which specially in Prague and cities near to borders with Austria and Germany. During research I spoke with owners of the brothels and sex clubs in the Prague and their employees (sex workers) with porn actors who also have a lot of information and data on this topic. I also interviewed sex workers who have their own flats where they work which are still more frequently seen in the Czech Republic. I collected all data and estimated the value of the market with sex service in the Czech Republic and how big impact this shadow economy has on the GDP. I focus primary on Prague, the largest market for prostitutes in the country also due to the large number of tourists. Prostitution has tendency to decrease in most of the regions except of Prague. Also women who work as sex workers more years try to find ways how to tax their incomes to get pension in the future. Owners of the brothels would like to somehow also legalize system of prostitution because problems which they have with local authorities had rising tendency. Estimates show that each year prostitution business earn more than 8 billion Czech crowns which is 0.2% of GDP, but if we counted third parties the amount can be more than doubled.

In order to compare these results, a method of a questionnaire survey from 2004 was selected focusing on the competitiveness of ecological farms. According to the questionnaire survey, the research was compiled and results of the research were compared with the results of the questionnaire survey compiled ten years ago. Accuracy of successive removal method
Konečná, G. ; Janáč, Michal ; Jurajda, Pavel
Accuracy of successive removal method for two different localities (a trout brook and a smaller lowland river) was examined. Our aim was to define optimal sampling effort to get reasonable results of fish assemblage parameters (species richness, species relative abundance, abundance). Estimates of population and assemblage size were made using the Leslie and Davis graphic method. On the trout brook and the lowland river locality, time cost of the sampling was evaluated. Our suggestion is that one succesive removal pass is the optimal sampling effort for the trout brook, two passes are needed on the smaller lowland river for optimal description of assemblage parameters. More passes are necessary if population size estimates are made and in assemblages with less catchable species.

Lipid Extraction from Algae Trachydiscus Minutus.
Rousková, Milena ; Kohoutková, J. ; Bicová, M. ; Šolcová, Olga ; Kaštánek, František ; Hanika, Jiří
It is characteristic for some species of algae that they contain lipids. Moreover, their structure contains unsaturated fatty acids. That is of particular importance mainly due to the presence of nutritionally valuable omega-3 fatty acids, which strongly supports the health condition of a person when consumed. An exceptional position belongs to eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), so called 20:5n3 in physiological literature. EPA is an omega-3 fatty acid and it is sometimes called the timnodonic acid1. Its molecule contains 20 carbons with 5-cis-alkene bonds. The first double bond is located at the third carbon from the omega end. It is therefore polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) and is a precursor for prostaglandin E3 and/or tromboxane synthesis with significant health support effects. Another important place in human metabolism is occupied by alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is also an essential fatty acid. A human body converts this acid to eicosapentaneoic acid (EPA). This process significantly reduces diabetes and some types of patient's allergies.

Pflegerová, Nikola ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; Pašková, Miroslava (referee)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis deals with the issues of individuals and spatial aspects in general and uses the Strahov dormitory as an example. The text is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is based on theoretical architectural determinism with an emphasis on interactionist theory and tries to characterize concepts related to space and spatial behavior, which may, to some extent, positively or negatively influence the behavior in general. This work also focuses on social function of buildings and the influence of the quality of space on the amount of social interaction and social life. This thesis also addresses the issues of living on university campuses - its temporary nature, sharing space with unfamiliar people and limited set of free choices. I applied the information from the theoretical part of this text on the case study of Strahov dormitory. I learned about serious lack of quality of that area, such as bad climate and operating conditions. On the other hand, I witnessed the effort made by students themselves, who are not satisfied by the conditions in which they live and try to make them better. Thanks to their initiative, new social spaces are made and the quality of the dormitory gets better.

Evaluation of Mystery Shopping in National Library of Technology 2015
