Asociační analýza vybraného polymorfismu genu SERPINE1 u souboru prasat
Buchtová, Petra
This thesis deals with the association analysis of selected polymorphism of the SERPINE1 gene in a group of Czech Large White pigs. The surveyed traits were average daily gain, back fat thickness and lean meat content. The SERPINE1 gene belongs to the SERPIN family of proteins is a candidate gene for fatness and carcass traits of pig. The trial was conducted in 96. Methods of PCR and RFLP were used to detect single nucleotide polymorphism. The allele and genotype frequencies were calculated and results of genotyping were entered into a database and statistically analyzed using the SAS software. It was found that animals with AA genotype occurred most often with the frequency of 47.9%, followed by AG genotype with the frequency 40.6%. Least frequented genotype was GG (11.5%). No statistically significant differences between genotypes for above traits were found in our group of the Czech Large White pigs.

Analysis of the meat oxherd breeds in an ecological agriculture system
TOMKOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this diploma work was to analyse the results of the Aberdeen Angus meet oxherd breeding in an ecological farming with the welfare relationship to the animals and at the same time to compare the efficiency after the system change of the farming at the farm Angus, Rančice, owned by Šebelka. The research was done in the period of years 2006 ? 2011. The survey range includes 65 heads of thorough-bred cows as well as 204 heads of Aberdeen Angus calves born in the tracked period. The number of births, the birth process, and the age before lay out and related reasons were recorded by the cows. By the calves we noted the live mass and average daily gain in the growth process. The range of the calves was then sorted our by year of the birth, gender, rank of the birth, by genitors and by the way of farming. The data entries were elaborated in the MICROSOFT EXCEL and evaluated in STATISTICA 7 CZ. The number of spontaneous birth without cowman assist equals 94,12%, only 4,41% of births required the necessary support. By the monitored number of calves no matter of the gender was noted the lowest and the highest live mass by the birth in the year 2007 (36,81 kg resp. 38,77 kg). The group of calves born in 2010 reached the highest average weight in 120 days as well as in 210 days (192,27 kg resp. 309,04 kg). The lowest average weight in 120 days was noticed in year 2009 (168,96 kg), in 210 day in 2008 (262,31 kg). The best growth ability from the birth to 120 days was by the group of calves born in 2010 (1,409 kg) compared to the lowest result in 2009 (1,099 kg). The average daily gain from 120 till 210 days reached its minimum in 2009 (1,171 kg), the maximum numbers were noted in 2010 (1,412 kg). The growth intensity from the birth till 210 days circulated in the range of 1,071 kg (2008) and 1,377 kg (2010). In the ecological agriculture system were noted statistical better efficiency results (live mass, growth intensity) compared to conventional agriculture system.

Productivity gains from services liberalization in Europe
Bena, Jan ; Ondko, Peter ; Vourvachaki, E.
As part of the Single Market Program the European Commission commanded the liberalization and regulatory harmonization of utilities, transport and telecommunication services. This paper investigates whether and how this process affected the productivity of European network firms. Exploiting the variation in the timing and degree of liberalization efforts across countries and industries, we find that liberalization increased firm-level productivity but had no reallocation impact. Based on our estimates, the average firm-level productivity gain from liberalization amounts to 38 percent of the average total within-firm productivity gain in network industries. The results underscore the growth-promoting role of liberalization efforts.

Analysi breeding condition in broiler chickens taking into account the microclimatic condition in controlled mode.
SVOBODA, Zdeněk
This thesis is focused on the assessment of production of broiler chickens te. hybrids ROSS and COBB 308 500, in connection with the microclimate conditions in the period from 2011 to 2014. The survey provides calculation of average lengths of broiler fattening, live weight of broiler chickens at the end of the batch, consumption of complete feed mixture for 1 kg of live weight gain, the effectiveness index of fattening, mortality to reproductive breeding age on. The juxtaposition of these zootechnical parameters will be obtained from the company Tagrea s.r.o. with operations in Čekanice near Tabor.

The level of knowledge about health issues for students adolescents in secondary technical colleges
BLÁHOVÁ, Věra
In diploma thesis is an analysis of the literature to characterize health and healthy lifestyle. The aim of this thesis is to gain an overview of knowledge about health and physical activity, the level of knowledge about health issues of selected group of students at secondary technical schools. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the term healthy lifestyle. For quantitative research is selected the knowledge test. The practical part presents results from 120 students of the knowledge test relating to issues of health physical activity and also the questionnaire of healthy lifestyle. The research found that the inform and knowledge in the areas of students of Secondary technical colleges (Machinery and Electrical) is average and it is not significantly different from the knowledge level of Secondary grammar school students. The diploma thesis can help to increase the knowledge level of students in the areas of health, an increase in motivation in applying and following a healthy lifestyle in your life.

Implementation of the basal stimulation concept in old people homes in the South-Bohemiam Region.
VESELÁ, Jaroslava
The theme for the bachelor work is the implementation of the conception of the basal stimulation in the retirements homes in the South Bohemian region. At present, the age average of seniors in all types of social care establishments is increasing, especially in residential establishments. To reach the quality of the provided care, it is necessary for all members of the nursing stuff to be informed of the problems and to manage the process of taking control of these problems and to solve them One of the most demanding tasks of the nursing care is to meet the needs of the client and to understand the style of communication. The basal stimulation is a conception that helps to meet the needs of all clients. It derives benefit from previous firmly footed life habits, customs and experiences of the client. The aim of the work is to find out, if the nursing team is making use of the basal stimulation conception in the retirement homes of the South Bohemian region. In the work, two hypothesis have been pointed: Hypothesis 1: In the retirement homes of the South Bohemian Region, the basal stimulation conception in the nurse care with seniors is not being used. Hypothesis 2: According the subjective opinion of the nurses, the basal stimulation conception is not being used for reasons of absence of nursing stuff in the retirement homes. To gain the information, a quantity investigation was used with a method of questioning, with a questionnaire given to the nursing stuff of seven selected retirement homes in the South Bohemian region Through the analysis of collected data subsequently processed into graphic charts and schemes, the first pointed out hypothesis was disproved and the second hypothesis was affirmed. In two selected retirement homes, the basal stimulation conception is used. When treating seniors, the method most frequently used is the positioning with bead aids. I believe that the investigation is also a practical contribution for the reason of the exchange of information about the existence of the basal stimulation conception to the nursing stuff who have not yet been informed about it, I hope that the basal stimulation will gain a basic position among the established methods of nursing care and will become a great contribution for the patient as well as for the whole nursing team.

New Explicit Design Relations for PI Control Tested on Real Models
Klán, Petr ; Gorez, R.
New explicit design relations are proposed for setting the parameters of PI controllers, from the knowledge of three parameters: gain, average residence time, and normalized dead time, characterizing the process to be controlled. These parameters can be obtained from process step response or from the closed-loop response with any stabilizing PI controller.

Physical principle dealing with development of vortices formed by DBD actuator
Procházka, Pavel P. ; Uruba, Václav
Several configurations of vortex trains generated by plasma dielectric barrier discharge were measured by method of time-resolved PIV with application of phase-averaging of data. Mainly dynamics of vortical structures was studied in terms of vortex core trajectory, convective velocity, vortex diameter and vortex circulation. The generally valid physical mechanism of such vortices based on gained information will be introduced and presented. This mechanism will be considered with regards to the use for active flow control thus it could be very helpful in the future works dealing with plasma flow control.
