High Temperature Processes in Silicon Solar Cells Production
Frantík, Ondřej ; Hudec, Lubomír (referee) ; Banský,, Juraj (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on high temperature processes in crystalline solar cells production. Main topic is diffusion of traditional dopants phosphorus and boron. Diffusion processes for creating solar cells are different from classical diffusion in semiconductor industrial. It is reason why the thesis describes crated layers in detail. Knowledge of diffusion processes is used for creating bifacial solar cells and development of a new phosphorus emitter for conventional solar cells. Bifacial cells are a new type of cells. Developed new emitter increases efficiency and decreases cost of solar cells production. Another part the thesis is devoted to the prediction of diffusion processes. New models of phosphorus and boron diffusion for photovoltaic industrial are created in software SILVACO. Models correspond with real results.
Organic semiconductors
Tebich, Ivan ; Macháček, Martin (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
My final thesis treats of usage photovoltaic phenomenon to production electric energy by solar cells. It inquires into this phenomenon in organic structures. Further it mentions basic types of constructions organic solar cells and evaluates their properties. In experimental part zhe thesis is focused on characterization thin-film structures made out of photoconductiv organic materials.
Optimizing measurement procedure of the optical radiation scattered by solid surface performed by the scattermeter
Klus, Jakub ; Kaiser, Jozef (referee) ; Ohlídal, Miloslav (advisor)
Design and realization of the device for measurement of light scattering from surfaces of solar cells
Gründling, Vladimír ; Křupka, Ivan (referee) ; Ohlídal, Miloslav (advisor)
The principle of an original instrument for experimental measurement of electromagnetic wave scattering from rough planar surfaces is presented in the diploma theses. A design and realization of the instrument is presented too. The instrument is primarily intended for measurement of angle intensity distribution of light scattered from solar cells surfaces. Owing to a possibility to analyse surfaces with a high level anisotropy of electromagnetic wave scattering it is possible to use the instrument for a study of surfaces with an arbitrary type of the surface roughness.
Current Fluctuations of Reverse-Biased Solar
Škvarenina, Ľ.
This paper presents mainly noise diagnostics of pn junctions local defects in a singlecrystalline silicon solar cells structure. Research consists of a non-destructive measurement methodology of reverse-biased junction in solar cells. Diagnostics of defect areas in this documents are based especially on measurement of noise power spectral density, measurement of the radiation emitted from defects in visible range and I-V characteristic measurement.
Dynamic testing of solar cells
Šneidr, Radim ; Hégr, Ondřej (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The content of this thesis is the validation of the method of dynamic testing of solar photovoltaic cells. Testing methods for determining the parameters of the photovoltaic cell replacement scheme has been verified through testing a set of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells. To accelerate the diffusion capacity measurement and to improve reproducibility of the measurement we propose new method of determining the time constant for diffusion capacitance using a combination of two short pulses. For this method of measurement new scheme for dynamic tester timing has been proposed and implemented.
Study of organic based structures for solar cells
Preparation and evaluation of metallic contacts for crystalline
Frodl, Miroslav ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Hladík, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the advanced methods of contact’s fabrication for monocrystalline solar cells and the appropriate methods for the analysis of their properties with a focus on the study and realization the contact’s structures with low contact and sheet resistance fabricated by galvanic and electroless processes. In the first part of the work is discussed the theory of solar cells and buried contacts and in the second part of the work is an evaluation of practical realization.
Application of laser processes in crystalline silicon solar cells fabrication
Grob, Filip ; Novotný, Marek (referee) ; Hladík, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focused on the use of laser's process in the solar cells fabrication. The first part of Bachelor's work generally handles the theory in the field of the photovoltaic devices and the applications of lasers. In the second practical part of the work are recorded and evaluated the measurements to verify the use of laser to selective doping of N+ layer. There were also investigated applicability the laser for buried contacts fabrication and solar cells edge isolation.
