Computer aided physics teaching in elementary school
VACIKAR, Pavel
This thesis deals with the use of modern digital technologies in a constructivist approach to physics teaching in elementary school. The thesis describes development of physics teaching strategies from the earliest period to present. Great attention is paid to an analysis and comparison of particular software products including examples. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on simulation of physical phenomena and includes several educational games. A group of the created programs and their outputs were used directly in physics teaching at the elementary school and the lower level of grammar schools. Efficiency of the programs was proved by pedagogical test.

Úlohy kvadratického programování v řešení polohy svalů a výpočtu jejich aktivity
Vondrák, Vít
Mechanical analysis of the musculoskeletal system of the human is a subject of importance to fundamental research as well as to practical engineering design and medical applications. For instance, we may want to investigate the basic function of the body, or we may want to design an rehabilitation exercise, a man-driven or -operated machine or tool. In either of these cases and many others it will be a great asset to know motion and forces accurately during a given exercise. Computational models can assist us by quantifying certain parameters and estimating performance measures that cannot possibly be measured.

Characterization of fluctuating discharge
Chumak, Oleksiy ; Hrabovský, Milan
A digital camera coupled with computer has a great potential in an analysis of discharges structures. This work analyzes an approach to visualization of dynamic radiant object. Mapping of brightness uncertainty values is used to show regions of different fluctuation intensity of radiation. The entropy as described by information theory was used as a relevant parameter for an uncertainty value. By a mathematical procedure a relative parameter based on the entropy was evaluated. As result an effects of optics sensitivity or of imperfections of experimental set-up were significantly suppressed.

Emotionality in the job of a nurse
HLACHOVÁ, Martina
The bachelor thesis of the title: "Emotionality in the job of a nurse" deals with the emotional company of a nurse which is part of experiencing in her assisting profession. In the course of every common and special day people experience a wide scale of various emotions not only in their everyday lives but also in their professions. The profession of a nurse belongs to an assisting profession and therefore in patients' eyes a nurse should be the one who has understanding for their problems during the illness and who helps to solve them with a great deal of tolerance and kindness. In her profession a nurse must fight with emotional tiredness, detritions and deformation leading to a state of cynicism which results in a simplified view of the ill and their problems. Next to their work, the mission of nurses is to be able to care well about the ill and never forget that a patient is first of all man, whose interests just they should protect. Literature mentions the fact that it is important to realize that a nurse does not work only for the ill ones, but particularly with them {--} which this thesis confirms. The theoretical part aims at emotionality as part of experiencing, emotions, at the job description of a nurse, her relation to the patient, empathy. Further it deals with various risks endangering the nurse from the psychological point of view, self-control and methods for mental health sustenance of a nurse. The second part of the thesis is a research part. The thesis has set two goals: the first goal is to determine how nurses react emotionally to patients' problems. The second goal is to determine which factors positively influence suitable nurses' emotional reactions to patients' problems. On the basis of these goals two research questions were set: 1)How do nurses emotionally react to patients' problems? and 2)Which factors positively influence suitable emotional reactions of nurses to patients' problems? To meet the goals of the thesis I used the method of a qualitative research survey. The survey is performed with the technique of non-standard dialogue which was provided by seven nurses working in the home for elderly people in Dobrá Voda.

Confidence to Some Representatives and Institutions in International Context - April 2011
Červenka, Jan
April survey was focused on attitudes of Czechs to some representatives and institutions of international politics. 69% of Czechs trust the US President Barack Obama (21% distrust him), 58% trust the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (25% not), 48% trust the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel (26% distrust her) and 21% trust the Great Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron (20% distrust him, 24 % are undecided and 35 % do not know him at all). Majority of Czech citizens distrust the French President Nicolas Sarkozy (53% against 21%), the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (57% : 21%), premier of Russia Vladimir Putin (62% : 22%) and the Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi (62% : 13 %). The most untrustworthy representative among statesmen included in the survey for Czech public is the Libyan leader Muammar Quaddafi (80% distrust him against just 2% people expressing the opposite attitude to him). Majority of Czechs has a confidence in the United Nations (63% : 27%) and Nato (56% : 35%).

Detection of independence relations from persegrams
Jiroušek, Radim
Procedures for computation with multidimensional models (multidimensional probability distributions) are efficient only for models with specific independence structure. Therefore, it is of great importance to learn the independence structure. The paper presents a solution of this task for models represented by generating sequences.

Mathematical modeling of the flow through an elastic tube
Štembera, Vítězslav ; Chlup, Hynek ; Maršík, František
The simulation of the fluid flow through elastic pipes has a great application in a blood flow through human vessels – investigation of such phenomena as an atheriosclerosis generation in artery walls, the Korotkoff's sounds generation or modeling of vascular mechanical substitutes (the so called stents) and is therefore widely studied. In this text we focus on the flow through collapsible pipes.

The great tit (\kur{Parus major}) as a model species in spatialy cognitive tasks
NÁCAR, David
In this thesis the spatial cognitive experiment with great tits (Parus major) as a model species is described. In this experiment tits learnt to respond to one of four response keys according the presented stimuli. Two types of stimuli were used: one of them contained configural information about response keys, but the other didn´t. The experiment tested the difference of using these two types of spatial information in great tits in two experimental designs. In the first design stimuli were presented in computer screen, in the other they were presented in the floor of experimental chamber. The thesis then discusses the performance of tits in two types of stimuli and two versions of experimental design and compares these results with pigeons in similar experiment.

The characteristics of Great Crest Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) population in select pond system
JEŽKOVÁ, Eva
The aim of the thesis was the characterictic of breeding population of the Great Crested Grebe on a chosen fishpond system. The research was realised from the 28th of March to the 14th of October in 2011 on the Naděje fishpond systém, specifically on the ponds Víra, Skutek, Láska, Naděje, Dobrá Vůle and Rod. This fishpond system of 15 ponds is situated to the east of the village Frahelž and it´s a part of CHKO Třeboňsko. The data were obtained by regular counting and active searching of nests and measuring their parameters. In 2011 the Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) preferred ponds Víra, Skutek and Láska. There were found 70 nests altogether. On the fishpond Víra were measured 36 nests altogether, on the fishpond Skutek 30 nests and on the fishpond Láska 4 nests. In 2011 57 % of nests were found in the vegetation of lesser reedmace (Typha angustifolia) on the fishponds Víra and Láska and 43% of nests in the vegetations of the great reedmace (Typha latifolia). On a free surface just 2 nests were found. In 2011 235 eggs were found altogether. On the fishpond Víra 112 eggs were found, on the fishpond Skutek 105 eggs and on the fishpond Láska 15 eggs. The parameters of size were measured on 182 eggs altogether.
