Principles of lean manufacturing and their implementation
Hanuška, Tomáš ; Hromková, Ivana (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with principles of lean production and their implementation. It reflects ongoing transformation of assembly in the company ABB s.r.o. PGHV Brno – Slatina. There were suggested several steps for waste reduction based on the tracking of material flow and worker movement.
Optimization of production process at ADC Czech Republic s.r.o
Cháma, Jakub ; Obdržálek, Radim (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of production process at ADC Czech Republic s.r.o. Primarily, the method of Lean Six Sigma is used. The first part has a form of the literary study where individual methods used within the company are described. These are further applied in the practical part. The second part presents a brief introduction of the company including the production portfolio. The last part focuses on the practical solution of particular problems of two packaging lines aiming to increase the utilization. In the thesis, the DMAIC improvement cycle is employed.
The Proposal of BS Unit Production Line Improvement in the Production Company
Tesař, Michal ; Špičáková, Monika (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the analysis of the current production system on the production line BS Unit in the company Daikin Device Czech Republic, s.r.o. in terms of material flow and move of worker. The main outcome is the proposal of precaution for improvement of the currently production of proces. The first part of the thesis describes the basic terms and methods from the field of industrial engineering. These findings are then used for data analysis and for the solution proposal in the analytical part.
Proposals for Layout of Workplace in Company Alu - color spol. s r.o.
Tesař, Michal ; Mikula, Jiří (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the current production system in the company ALU-COLOR, s.r.o. in terms of material flow. The main outcome is the proposal of new and more efficient deployment of workplaces in the production hall depending on transport distances between sites. The first part of the thesis describes theoretical knowledge of general and production logistics. These findings are then used for data analysis and for the solution proposal in the analytical part.
Rational layout of the assembly line in the pre-manufacturing stage and Lean principles
Škrdla, Michal ; Bernát, Michal (referee) ; Strejček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the current state of assembly workplace for prefabrication in selected company. Using lean manufacturing principles it describes and subsequently eliminating all forms of waste that occur in the workplace. Part of the project is to design a new layout of the manufacturing cell, operation balancing and standardize the work of operators in the process. The project aims to achieve the planned production volumes at the same or lower operating costs.
The Proposal of Internal Production Supply in Walter s.r.o
Motyčka, Jan ; Kubica, Petr (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on proposal of internal production supply in the Walter Ltd. The company is undergoing changes in the production layout and therefore it is necessary to design a new system of production supply. The theoretical part focuses on Toyota production system and methods used in this system. Next part of the theoretical part is dedicated to lean management and lean manufacturing. The last point of theoretical part are supplying and material handling. The theoretical part is basis for analytical part in which is mapped the current state of supplying production lines. The last point of diploma thesis are solution proposals based on analytical data’s.
The Study Material Flow Management in the Logistics Chain of the Automotive Industry
Lokvencová, Veronika ; Ing. Petr Tyráček, Ph.D., MBA (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the material flow in a company located at the second stage of the supply. Material flow is monitored in terms of logistics. The focus becomes reducing production lead times due to optimized inventory. In the theoretical section briefly summarizes the nature of material flow and the means used to optimize inventory. The content of the practical part is a detailed conflict of manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations, which will be the basis for possible suggestions to improve all material flow.
The Study of the Operating Production Management
Mayerbergová, Ilona ; Ing. Jaromír Černý, Ph.D (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to use the principles of lean manufacturing to lean workplace and eliminate all forms of waste in this workplace. A part of this work is opti-mal design of the workplace in terms of ergonomics which should have a positive effect on shortening lead time and process cycle efficiency. Shortening the lead time will allow company to respond more quickly to customer requirements and this effect may subsequently lead to the drop in inventories.
Optimization of the material flow in the internal logistics at the selected company
Huryta, Michal ; Jirsák, Petr (advisor) ; Martínez, Felipe (referee)
This Master's thesis deals with the optimization of the material flow between two areas of the production plant of the selected company. At the beginning of the thesis there is shown theoretical framework which is needed for subsequent analysis and determination of the proposals to improvement. In this part there is pointed out to the understanding of the process and the various concepts related to the process management. Furthermore, for the purposes of the application part there are selected and analyzed specific tools of lean manufacturing. These include for example the spaghetti diagram, the product / process matrix and the value stream mapping as the essential tool of this thesis. All this is complemented by ABC analysis. After that these methods are also applied in the practical part for solving the current project in the selected company. At first in solving the project there is dealt with the determination of the most problematic material flow between two areas of production plant. Then there is suggested the optimization solutions and all of this is also complemented by the economic evaluation of the whole project.
The analysis of selected lean manufacturing
LÁNOVÁ, Jana
This thesis is concerned with the analyses of selected methods of lean production. The main aim of the theoretical part is to describe management of production, conception of lean enterprise, what is the lean production, the types of waste and the elements of lean manufacturing as lean workplace, Kanban system, Kaizen and other. The main goal of the practical part of this thesis is to analyse the production system of Erwin Junker Grinding technology a.s. and the mode of production of selected spindle. After the detection of the present state were proposed two possible solutions for improving the production.
