Role of prevention methodist related to social-pathological phenomena at elementary schools.
KECLÍKOVÁ, Martina
The bachelor?s thesis is focused on different standpoints of primary prevention of risk behavior at elementary school environment. At the thesis forefront stands a role of school prevention methodist. The target the thesis is collection and comparison of various points of view related to prevention of risk behavior and a role of elementary school prevention methodist. The theoretical part describes a social pathology, a social deviance and a social norm. It defines term ?risk behavior? and describes the selected risk behaviour (school the most common ones) that occur within the school environment often. Then it directes on prevention of this risk behavior and basic characterization of elementary schools in the Czech Republic. The practical part contains the results of survey conducted at three elementary schools in South Bohemian Region. Through the questionnares and interviews it maps the standpoints of 8th to 9th grade the pupils, parents, teachers, principals and prevention methodists themselves related to primary prevention and prevention methodist activity accompanied by indications of risk behavior at selected elementary schools.

A Selected Risk Behavior a Socially Undesirable Phenomenon by Children at Elementary School
SUCHELOVÁ, Markéta
The thesis deals with selected risk behaviour and socially undesirable phenomena in elementary school children. The data for the thesis were collected in ninth classes of elementary schools in the regions of South Bohemia, Central Bohemia and Ústí. Quantitative research, questioning method, the technique of anonymous questionnaire were used to ascertain the data; preset hypotheses are verified or falsified on the base of evaluation of the questionnaire. The respondents filled out the questionnaires at school, but with exclusion of the authority close to them, in order to obtain as high validity of data as possible. The thesis has a theoretical part describing individual selected phenomena, previous statistics of their incidence and the current period of life of the respondents. The practical part sets goals and describes the actual research and discussion with authors I have drawn from. The goal of the work was to map the incidence and extent of the selected phenomena of pupils of ninth classes of elementary schools. Partial goals were to select the phenomena among the individual regions and to compare the data with implemented prevention. The research shows that the selected phenomena occur in all regions; none of the phenomena is absent in any of the regions. Use of legal, socially tolerated substances, i.e. alcohol and tobacco, is most frequently represented. Each of the selected reasons is more endangered in another form of risk behaviour than the other regions. The Region of South Bohemia appears as the most risky one, with the highest experience of pupils with illegal drugs, both in the number of cases experience and in the frequency of use. The research also shows that the implementation of primary prevention comes late for almost all forms of selected risk behaviour, often only after the pupils have engaged themselves, or shortly before. The results of the thesis can be used in practice, e.g. by instructors of primary prevention, by school methodologists to set up Minimum preventive programs and last but not least for teaching and for the need of other research.

Monitoring medical herbs in organic farming

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the situation in the growing of medical plants in the organic farming in the Czech Republic. About 18 main medical plant species is grown on 500 ha in organic farming in the Czech Republic. The growing is concentrated in the South Moravia. The organic production is mainly processed to different teas, spices and aromatic extracts. About 55 growers and 50 processors of organic medical plants is in the Czech Republic.

Practical use of Persteril for the prevention of fungal infections of fish roe and its effectiveness in antiparasitic baths cyprinids compared with used liquids
FOŘT, Ondřej
Persteril (Acidum peraceticum) is a trademark used for a disinfectant with peracetic acid as an active ingredient. It is highly effective biocide and has extensive application possibilities with regard to environmental friendliness, it also has the widest range of disinfection efficacy. The practical part took place in the Genetic centre hatchery at the FROV JU in Vodnany. Persteril? was used for Short-time bath followed by rearing roe in the recirculating system and for short-time bath followed by rearing roe in the flow system. Both versions are breeding quite well; Persteril? detects fungal infection of fish roe in comparison with other liquids, as well as it leaves smaller or no residue in the water or out of the water until the evaporation (according to the concentration).

Philosophy for Children as Means of Preventing Socio-Pathological Phenomena in Extracurricular Activities
PLÍVOVÁ, Klára
The thesis treats the usage of Philosophy for Children, a program focused on fostering critical, creative and caring thinking in children, as means of preventing socio-pathological phenomena. The first part describes the work of an after-school care centre, and also briefly describes socio-pathological phenomena that can arise in an after-school care centre as well as their causes. The second part introduces Philosophy for Children as well as the Canadian program of La Traversée focused on violence prevention. The third part examines the possibilities of using the program as means of violence prevention in an after-school care centre. Conclusion outlines suggestions for further research and comparison with other countries.

System analysis of chosen agricultural farm at higher location at orientation on bioenergy production
ŠIMEK, Michal
Chosen agricultural enterprise Agricultural Cooperative Slapy u Tábora farms in the South Bohemia Region near the Tábor city. Analysis of inner structure of this farm was worked out for the period 1996 {--} 2006. Harvest area and yield of individual crops, mineral fertilizer consumption and cattle stock have been used for the analysis. On the basis of performed analysis, variants of inner structure have been calculated, aimed on production of bioenergy: cereals for bioethanol production, raps for biodiesel production, biogas. From aspect of energetic gain, the variant for bioethanol production was evaluated as optimal.

Spiritual Needs of Hospitalized Patients
SENDLEROVÁ, Klára
This Bachelor`s thesis has the title "Spiritual Needs of Hospitalized Patients." The work endeavors to capture the spiritual needs of hospitalized patients and the way they cope with their illness in relation with their religious belief; whether religious belief plays an important role in their lives. The theoretical part deals with human needs in general. It is followed by the characteristics of spiritual need, which is individual for every person. That is why the chapter on assessing spiritual needs is mentioned here. Furthermore, concepts of spirituality, religion, and religiosity are covered. This is followed by description of spiritual phenomena including personal relationships, spiritual knowledge, and love. I have also included spiritual health and spiritual distress here. The chapter Spiritual development in individual phases of life deals with the way we experience spirituality from childhood to adulthood. It is followed by the chapter Illness and hospitalized person, which mentions the effects of hospitalization on an individual, and also the meaning of religious belief during his illness. The last chapter is called Spiritual care, which includes pastoral care. The aim of the work is to find out, based on quantitative research, what kind of spiritual needs hospitalized patients have and how does the experience of illness differ in religious and non-religious patients. Two hypotheses were set {--} the importance of spiritual needs increases with age, and experience of illness differs in religious and non-religious hospitalized patients. Both of the hypotheses were verified. The research sample consisted of hospitalized patients from Moravian-Silesian Region, from the town Odry, hospitalized at the Chronic diseases ward and Internal medicine ward, and patients from Pilsen Region, from the city Pilsen, hospitalized at the Internal medicine ward and Surgical ward. The interviewing method was used in the form of questionaire data collection. In the discussion, the outcomes are compared with professional literature, and working hypotheses are evaluated. Current situation of the attitude towards spiritual needs, evaluation of hypotheses, and my personal opinion of the topic are mentioned in the conclusion.

Matematické modely hydraulických systémů, příklady, analýza
Straškraba, Ivan
The purpose of this contribution is to describe some phenomena arising in hydraulic systems. By a hydraulic system we call a network of tubes, pumps, valves, accumulators and other elements designed to fulfil certain function, for example pumping water from one tank to another. To quantify the fluid flow through the system in question we use fundamental physical principles, namely conservation of mass, momentum and energy. In pipes it leads to Navier-Stokes equations simplified with regard to the special properties of the flow. For description of the fluid flow through other hydraulic elements different models are used which must be identified by the help of experiments performed on an appropriately designed test ring.

Predikce příjmů obecních rozpočtů
Kramoliš, Jakub ; Sedmihradská, Lucie (advisor) ; Kostohryz, Jiří (referee)
The subject of my bachelor thesis is the elaboration of a case study that deals with the preparation of the revenue side of the budget of the municipality Hodslavice. The main aim of my work is to determine the accuracy of the actual estimates of the municipality and to compare the accuracy of predictions of several statistical methods. I use these statistical methods: simple moving average, exponential smoothing, transformation moving average, regression against time with an exponential trend. Drawn from the analysis, I found that for the prediction of each type of revenue, there is a more accurate method than expert's assessment of the budget administrator in Hodslavice, but there can not be applies a single method of prediction for all types of revenues. The most accurate method for predicting taxes of individual revenues is exponential smoothing. However the differences between the predictions by this method and the expert's estimation of the administrator of the budget are minimal. Regression against time was the best in forecasting tax corporation income and value added tax. For real estate tax and non-tax revenue, which the municipality has at least some competence in influencing the future level of revenue appears to be the most accurate method of simple moving averages.
