This work introduces sustainable rural tourism as a possible alternative ways of spending free time. This work deals with the definition of tourism, streamline tourism typology and describes the relationship between leisure and tourism. In the theoretical part introduces the reader to the basic concepts related to the territorial structure of the region, rural and rural area necessary for the delimitation of the area. Showing a concept of unique local attraction and then categorization of tourist attraction leads with help of respondents to practical mapping of thirty unique local attraction in a total of ten villages, located in the area of the Cesky Krumlov region.

Visitors Monitoring Importance for Protected Areas on the NPR Vůznice Case Study
Skalková, Petra ; Patzelt, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Třebický, Viktor (referee)
Protected areas, which now cover 11 % of the earth's surface (Rodrigues et al., 2004), play a vital role in tourism and they are being visited by more and more people (Buckley, 2003). These areas have been declared to protect species and habitats from being disturbed by visitors and from habit degradation (Kelly et al., 2002; Boo, 1990). This thesis deals with the monitoring and evaluation of tourism impact of illegal traffic to the National Nature Reserve Vůznice. In this study I have focused on three main units: firstly the vegetation - we mapped the specially protected plant species and habitats assessed valuables in ArcGIS, secondly the evaluation of the impact on bird and finally the monitoring of tourism. Valuable habitat is mixed and very valuable habitats are mainly located in the valley of NPR Vůznice, including roadsides. In contrast, less valuable habitats are spread irregularly. I found 11 kinds of plants protected by law while monitoring endangered plants in the area. Among specially protected species in the area surrounding roads are spring snowflake Leucojum vernum (Spring Snowflake), Lunaria Rediviva (Perennial Honesty), Lilium martagon (Martagon Lily) and a greater proportion of important species is located off roads on slopes, e.g. Aurinia saxatilis (Basket of Gold), Dictamnus...

Identification and characterization of transcription facotrs affecting late stages of male gametophyte development in Arabidopsis thaliana
Dupľáková, Nikoleta ; Honys, David (advisor) ; Bříza, Jindřich (referee) ; Fajkus, Jiří (referee)
Conclusions My thesis was devoted to the investigation of a complex regulatory network of transcription factors in the Arabidopsis thaliana male gametophyte. In addition to the abovementioned objective, the second aim of the thesis was the creation of a web-based transcriptome database and data mining tool characterized by an innovative concept of presentation and evaluation of the data from DNA chips. The results of my thesis can be summarized as follows: 1. We created a database called Arabidopsis Gene Family Profiler (arabidopsisGFP) (http://agfp.ueb.cas.cz/) which was made available on-line. This database was developed in order to provide a new tool for presentation of gene expression data (transcriptome), allowing the user to display the data in a quick and intuitive way using the innovative and when launched also unique concept of a virtual plant. The database employs a progressive idea "from simple to complex", but also provides the user with more traditional data presenting options. The aGFP database can serve as a reference manual for the expression of individual genes and gene families in Arabidopsis thaliana under physiological conditions at different phases of the life cycle and in individual organs and tissues or cell types. 2. A chapter reviewing available servers for deposition of the...

Biodiversity of standing floodplain waters and processes of its formation and preservation
Pithart, David
Water chemistry and planktic communities in the naturally eutrophic alluvial waters in the Lužnice floodplain have been studied. The floofplain waters are naturally eutrophic, with strong vertical physico-chemical gradients and oxygen depletions at the botom. Small pools and backwaters of this type have unique phytoplankton structure. Prevailing dominance of flegellates, namely Cryptophyceae, and low proportion of green chlorococcal algae and Diatoms, and almost absence of Cyanophyceae are very unusual for such eutrophic waters. Flagellate dominate thanks their ability to keep the vertical position in a permanently light limited conditions (resulted from poorly mixed water columns and intensive shading of water surface by vegetation). Floodplain geodiversity play crucial role, determining morphology and location of pools and backwaters, their exposition to flooding and inflows of underground water. Terrestial vegetation effects light exposition, leaf litter.

Evalution of information from Meteosat 8 and the CZRAD network of meteorological radars in selected significant convective situations
Hajáková, Jaroslava ; Kastner, Jiří (referee) ; Pešice, Petr (advisor)
KAPITOLA ABSTRACT Abstract Topic of Mc. S. Thesis: Evaluation of information from Meteosat 8 and the CZRAD network of meteorological radars in selected significant convective situations. Abstract: This paper focused on comparing the information from the satellite Meteosat 8 and the CZRAD network of meteorological radars in selected significant convective situations. The main goals of this study were to assess how satellite and radar data respond on development of convection and if the satellite data responds on intenzifying convection before the radar data. For this purpose, four significant convective situations and associated areas (72 x 72 km) were selected, and the satellite and radar data were preprocessed. Appropriate differences of spectral channels (i.e. satellite methods) and radar products were chosen. The preprocessing involved data synchronization in time and location. The parallax correction was used for satellite data. Seven satellite methods were used - spectral channel IR 10.8 (TIR10.8), difference of channels WV 0.6 and IR 10.8 (TWV6.2 - TIR10.8), IR 13.4 and IR10.8 (TIR13.4 - TIR10.8), IR 12.0 and IR 10.8 (TIR12.0 - TIR10.8), IR 8.7 and IR 10.8 (TIR8.7 - TIR10.8,), NIR 1.6 and VIS 0.6 (REFNIR1.6 - REFVIS0.6) and the trispectral method. The trispectral method resulted from measurements of...

Fantasy and Science-fiction in Novels for Children using German Texts, Working with a Literary Text with Children for Teaching
Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Mašitová, Petra ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Fukala, Radek (referee) ; Maur, Eduard (referee)
Inventories of inheritance of the early modem period nobility in the Principate of Opava and Krnov as a source ofhistory of every-dayness The universa! analysis and comparison of nobility's inventories of inheritance is an object of the work. Concemed inventories were built in years 1650-1740, the bottom limit is given by the end of Thirty Y ears' War (late leave of Swedish garrisons from north Moravian and Salesian region) and the top limit corresponds with dividing of Salesian principalities after the lost War of the Austrian Succession. Time definition of the work deliberately ignores year 1620, which is much too stressed as an important marker by Czech historiography. From geographical point of view we cover the region of Czech Silesia, namely historie principalities of Opava and Krnov. The resources' base consists of agenda, which is located in Land archive in Opava, in the fund District executive of Opava-Krnov's principality in Opava 1507-1784. There are over 300 inventory numbers in the aforementioned fund, which contains inheritance and trusteeship cases from the 16th to 18th century. I am interested in 20 inventories of persons, whose houses acted in the area of Upper Silesia: Eichendorf, Vlčkové of Dobrá Zemice, Bokové of Burgvice, Bruntálští of Vrbno, Hodicové of Hodice, Brixové of Moncle and...
