Unemployment Problems in Slovakia

The aim of this work is to revise unemployment in Slovakia during the years 2001-2009. First, the unemployment during this time period will be specified, then the causes of its beginning. Second, certain indicators of unemployment and relations among those indicators will be analyzed. And third, positive and negative impacts of changes in unemployment and steps of lowering the rate of unemployment will be described. Finally, author's own point of view concerning this whole problem will be presented.

Using microformats in internet magazine development

The aim of this work is to provide a look in a problem of semantics on the web, to implement the chosen semantic components (microformats and HTML 5) to the new version of internet magazine mobilenet.cz development and to make a research of microformats utilization by the competitive magazines and open source content management systems. This work shows the practical view in the microformats implementation into the system of the internet magazine, describes the implementation problems as well as their solutions. It also shows a review of real world usages and benefits, which these technologies provides. The utilization research also brings a look in the actual situation and the way of utilization on the Czech internet and provides valuable perspective of possible competitive advantages for the magazine too. It is also researched which solutions provide the open source content management systems. The work is divided into four chapters. First theoretic chapter deals with the semantics on the web, concretely with the microformats and HTML 5, followed by the basic description of the magazine's development and semantic components' implementation in chapter three. The last chapter is finally dedicated to the research itself.

Urban green spaces and its institutional framework

The thesis Urban green spaces and its institutional framework attempts to analyze different cases of urban green spaces foundation and administration in which various public and private entities act. Based on these foundations it tries to come with an overview of the most important forms of provision of greenery in cities. Through research of available literature we came to the understanding that greenery in urban environments is not just a result of municipal service provided by a public authority but to its foundation, administration, financing and maintenance contribute also other entities. The overview created in the thesis is not exhaustive but can serve as an inspiration for various subjects at a time when local public authorities do not have sufficient resources to ensure satisfactory range and quality of public green.

Inspection of PCB with SMT by using comparative method

The first part of the bachelor´s thesis discuss AOI, types of AOI, its utilization and importance in the industrial production. The second part is devoted to realization of simple comparative inspection method. There were testing effects of ambient light to record photographs of PCB and also artificial light was used. There was problems indication of PCB lit and PCB fixturing. At last, there are discussed some technical problems of this simple comparative method.

Effect of NAFTA agreement on drug trafficking between the U.S. and Mexico

Diploma thesis "Effect of NAFTA agreement on drug trafficking between the U.S. and Mexico" analyzes the phenomenon of illegal drug trade in the Americas. The aim of the thesis was to seek causes of drug trafficking based on the proven asymmetry of the U.S. - Mexico political and economic relations and analyze its development to the present. Particular emphasis was placed on NAFTA agreement and evaluation of its effect on drug trafficking. The last chapter provides possible solution proposals globally applicable.

This work is based on analysis of the past, present and predictable posture of logistics and its impact on the environment in Slovakia. The work consists of five chapters. The first two ones deal with logistics, traffic, logistical nets and infrastructure network in Slovakia. The other three ones focus on the environment and impact of logistical processes on the environmental system. The last part reveals the possible effects of financial crisis on the development of logistical nets.

The Role of International Organizations in the World Economy

The first chapter describes the conditions of the establishment and development of international organizations, their characteristic and division. The second chapter is devoted to International Monetary Fund and the third one to International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The fourth chapter deals with the World Trade Organization and the fifth one with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Each chapter contains a description of the development of the goals and roles of particular organization till present.

The comparison of approaches to analisis on the value system of russian culture

The thesis deals with the cultural value system of Russia from the point of view of two experts - Hofstede and Inglehart. First part of the thesis explains methods that are used in the each of approaches. It gives brief explanation of cultural dimensions according to which the value system of the country is made up. Theoretical outlook is used in the next part for the practical application of dimensions on the russian culture. The aim of the thesis is to compare two mentioned approaches and their results given about the value system of russian culture.

Lime mortars with the addition of ground limestone

The thesis is focused on an effect of addition of ground limestone on properties of lime based mortars. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with diferenciation of plasters and their utilization, history of using limestone as an aggregate, its exploitation in the present and its impact on properties of lime based plasters, specially on strenghts. In the next part there's elaborated the carbonation reaction including the influence of external agents. Practical part of the thesis is focused on proving assumtions from theoretical part, particulary on the influence of ground limestone on the strenght properties of lime based plasters.
