Marketing market research of a selected company
DUSPIVOVÁ, Jitka
The theme of my graduation theses was Marketing market research of a selected company. The firm was manufacturing corporation HBSW Inc. Byňov. The aim of the thesis was take the requirements of consumers and take the market potentials with bottled water. I solved the questions e.g. what influences the end user (for example: price, advertising, flavour, packaging) and farther structure of the end user (form example: age, sex, education, employment). I studied the professional books and the digest of these books is in the second part of my work. The questionary had twenty-three questions. Eight questions appertained to the shopping behavior, ten questions appertained to the consumer behavior, and five questions appertained to the consumer. I used the questions with an opened end and the questions with a closed end. The obtained information was processed in the computer programme MS Excel and Statistica 6.0. I ascertained what new flavours would the consumers like, which flavours are the most popular, how to change the consumption of the packaged water depending on the season. After the data evaluation and data presentation I suggested the solution for the selected company. I believe that this research helps the company HBSW Inc. in the next steps and decision.

Biodegradable nanoparticles formulation
Čermáková, Věra ; Dittrich, Milan (advisor) ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee)
ABSTRAKT-EN Nanoparticles from poly(DL-lactic acid) were prepared by the using of disintegrator stator and rotor type. The intensity average diameter of these particles was 220 nanometers. Classical w/o emulsion-solvent distribution method was adopted for this purpose. Dichloromethane was used as more appropriate as chloroform. As emulsifying agent was tested polyvinylalcohol, better results were obtained with low-molecular weight compound, with Mw approx. 10,000.

Navier's Slip and Evolutionary Navier-Stokes-Fourier- Like Systems with Pressure, Shear-Rate and Temperature Dependent Viscosity
Bulíček, Miroslav ; Málek, Josef (advisor) ; Stará, Jana (referee) ; Feireisl, Eduard (referee)
There are plenty of experimental studies suggesting to model behavior of viscous materials as incompressible fluids with the viscosity depending on the shear-rate, the temperature and the mean normal stress (the pressure). In this thesis we investigate mathematical properties of internal unsteady three-dimensional flows of such fluids subject to Navier's slip at the boundary. We establish the large-data and long-time existence of weak solution provided that the viscosity and heat conductivity depend on the shear rate, temperature and the pressure in a suitably specified manner. Note that specific relationship however includes the classical Navier-Stokes equations and power-law fluid (with power law index r 2, r 2) as special cases. The achieved results are based on two observation. First, although for smooth functions completely equivalent, in the context of weak solutions the formulation of the balance of total energy share better mathematical properties than the equation for the temperature, balancing the internal energy. Second, for evolutionary models, again in the context of weak solutions, Navier's slip boundary conditions are well suitable to defining the global pressure needed if the viscosity is pressure-dependent. Except for the special case, the Navier-Stokes equations, when one identifies the...

The institute of preventive detention: comission, goals and limitations of the new preventive measure
Koláříková, Lenka ; Válková, Helena (advisor) ; Kodymová, Pavla (referee)
The institute of preventive detention is a new protective measure in our penal law. The theme of this thesis is an analysis of the comission and goals of the new protective measure and focusing on a comparation of theoretical and practical function of this protective measure. The folowing chapters provide the characterization of the preventive detention and its legal framework in the Czech republic. The component part of the thesis is also a description of the preventive detention in a legal framework of other state, concretely Slovakia. At the end of the work there are explicated knowledges obtained during the visit of the Institute for preventive detention Brno. In this chapter not only functional equipment is described but also the compositon of the inmates and employees and their most important competencies. Programms, by which are the medical goals fullfiled are described at the end of the thesis.

Impact of the authors' rights on the performing artist's profession
Sanigová, Jana ; Boháček, Martin (advisor) ; Spirit, Michal (referee)
The authors' rights nowadays concern every individual. They significantly influence the performing artists, who use authors' works to make their living. This thesis analyses the specific impact of the Czech legal regulations on the professional musicians, describes the competences of the collecting societies, refers to the difficulties due to differences in the legal regulations on the international scale and defines musical theme as a new term in the legal context. The thesis proves the advantage of potential use of this term in both Czech and international courts practise.

Burnout Syndrome of Leisure Time Activities Specialist.
REBROVÁ, Iveta
This thesis is dealing with burnout syndrome among leisure time specialists. Theoretical part describes burnout syndrome, its historical basis, symptoms and causes, protective factors and preventive techniques, which prevent from burnout syndrome risk. Next part deals with common stress, its causes and symptoms, and psychosocial stress, which is closely related with burnout syndrome. Ending of the theoretical part is focused on understanding the differences between jobs of common teacher and leisure time specialist, their competences, demands and factors causing burnout syndrome. The goal of the practical part is to find out, whether leisure time specialists are equally threatened by burnout syndrome as common teachers, and whether their burnout relates with their experience, sex or type a personal behavior.

The Fantasy Genre as a Mirror to the Classical Mythological and Fairy-Tale Motives
ZÁBRANOVÁ, Jana
The dissertation titled Pictures of traditional fairytale and mythological themes in fantasy literature deals with the links between the motifs that are also found in fairy tales and fantasy. The first part describes the characteristics of fairytale and divided it into individual categories. Describes the typical heroes and prominent appears in them. Subsequently, we will focus on the composition of the myth, whose typical elements appear in fantasy. Also we deal with fantasy literature, its evolution and its individual species. The dissertation shows signs common to both myth and fantasy literature. It also describes the basic archetypes occurring in this genre. The next part deals with the analysis and comparison of selected works. Fairytale genre is represented by two books by V. Rezac's Příhody skřítka Dzina and by L. Ashkenazy Putování za švestkovou vůní. Fantasy is represented by work of modern author P. Renčin Nepohádka. In the end we point out the fact that the line between a fairytale and fantasy are blurred.

Value at Risk application to FSD portfolio efficiency testing
Kopa, Miloš
The paper deals with efficiency testing of a given portfolio with respect to all other portfolios that can be created from the considered set of assets. The efficiency is based on the first order stochastic dominance (FSD) relation. A necessary and sufficient condition for the first order stochastic dominance criterion is expressed in terms of Value at Risks (VaRs). Consequently a FSD portfolio efficiency test based on VaRs is formulated. Contrary to the usual case, a general discrete distribution of portfolio returns is assumed what makes the test computationally more demanding comparing to the equiprobable scenarios case. Therefore we present a tractable reformulation of this test that turns constraints on VaRs into classical mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem.

Attitudes and buying behaviour of customers of a shopping center
HOUDKOVÁ, Zuzana
The theme of diploma thesis is ?Attitudes and Buying Behavior of Customers in selected Shopping center.? The theoretical part is to obtain as much information on the issue as possible. A survey was carried out simultaneously directly in a shopping center. In the practical part, there is the evaluation of the response of the evaluation of the response of customers in the shopping center selected by the survey. For the research I have chosen the shopping center in Ceske Budejovice.

Analysis and Comparison of Dramatizations of The Wind in the Willows
Šteidlová, Kateřina ; MACHKOVÁ, Eva (advisor) ; SCHWARZOVÁ, Kateřina (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with an analysis and comparison of dramatizations of The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, a book which ranks among the British children's classics. The paper examines to what extent the dramatizations correspond to the book, whether and why they deviate from the original text, and what consequences these changes have. The thesis focuses on four dramatizations – a play by Alan Alexander Milne called Toad of Toad Hall, Alfa Theatre production of The Wind in the Willows, a Walt Disney short animated film The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, and Terry Jones´s adaptation of The Wind in the Willows to a feature film. In the thesis, firstly the book and then the dramatizations are analyzed in terms of the theme and genre, characters, setting, composition and language use. Subsequently, the dramatizations are examined and compared with regards to the transformation processes – selection, condensation, substitution, amplification, and changes in composition and language. In the final chapter, I summarize my findings and draw the conclusion.
