POSKOČILOVÁ, Lenka
The Bachelor´s Diploma thesis deals with project "Even you can work with your voice!", which took place in Arpida, rehabilitation centre for disabled people in Budweis. Two adult clients became involved in the project, who were working in a local library and they had the use of a special voice control computers. The thesis consists of three parts - the theoretical part, research and appendices. The theoretical part of my thesis deals with basic terms of disability. The second chapter describes the physical disability especially focused on cerebral palsy, on its causes, forms and associative conditions speech disability and intellectual disability. Next, the thesis deals with education of physically disabled people, integration and inclusion are mentioned. I also pay attention to the importance of supporting disabled people in the workplace and the impact of legislation. I deal with personal assistance and the importance of ethical treatment of social workers with their clients. In the last chapter I describe the project "Even you can work with your voice!", the organisation "Polovina nebe" (Half of Heaven), which put the project into practice and the Arpida centre, where the project took place in the South Bohemian Region. The thesis aim is the evaluation of the project "Even you can work with your voice!" and the evaluation of information technologies application, which clients used for their work. I tried to find out, which benefits the realisation of the project provided. I want to gain the information about, how the organization emloyees were satisfied with provided service from the clients, who were involved in the project. For achieving the practical goal I used the qualitative survey. The data winning was made with the use of participant observation method and structured interviews. In view of the fact that I worked as a personal assistant who helped clients with their work content skills, I had the opportunity to watch, how the project has been naturally developing. I was a participant observer, then. The survey group was constituted by two clients, who were the direct participants of the project and Arpida centre employees, who used the offered service in the local library. From the results of the survey it is evident that the main goal of the project, to teach the target group to control a computer with their voice, could not be achieved, regarding to the clients´ degree in speech-language pathology, who were chosen for the realization of the project in Arpida centre. The next specific goals and benefits, which were defined at the beginning of the project, were achieved. As emerged from the survey, employees evaluated the provided services very positively, clients were fully knowledgeable in their work and they were willing to provide the required information and arrange things individually according to the emloyees´ needs. There are structured interviews included in an appendix part with open questions not only for the clients but for the employees of the centre, too. The exact written transcript of all the interviews with the employees of the centre is available in the next appendix. There is also mentioned a monthly account of workers and a personal assistant involved in the project. The monthly accounts belong to the necessary administration, which was regularly filled in at the end of the month. The thesis can be contribution to our society. It can show other people, that physically disabled people have the chance to get a good job and they can find their use at the open labour market. The thesis can provide a view on how the clients themselves describe their opportunity to work and become integrated.

It is existential security, certain degree of independence, personal development, social contact and responsibility for them. Therefore even for one with disability it is important to have a possibility to integrate into the working process and to find the job at labour market. Whereas the last explorations show that the Czech Republic has more than one million people with disability, it is needed to deal with issue of their job. The target of the task was to find out which possibilities the people with disability have at labour market in Písek town and to find the answer for research question if they have the interest for this job. The research specimen was formed from five people with mental disability and five people with disability who already have the experience on labour market. The theoretical part is focused on the explanation of some key concepts in this sphere and closer acquaintance with the issue of disabled people employing including legislative of the Czech Republic. It also closer the organisations which deal with employing of disabled people in Písek town. For the investigation it was used qualitative research strategy, method of interrogation data acquisition with the interview technique according to my instruction. The data was processed through interview content analysis. The results showed the disabled people have interest to work. The different reasons head them for this. The reasons are finance, contact with the people and to short long time. The preferences of these reasons are different for the people with mental disable and for the people with disability. As a reason of job hunting for the people with mental disable who are not loaded existential concern is mostly to short long time. On the contrary the most common reason which was stated is finance for the people with disability. The result of the survey is finding that the people with mental disability have mostly only one chance to find the job on protected labour market, whilst the use probability on free and protected labour market is balanced for disabled people. The research results confirmed that the education is one of important assumption to get the job. The people with mental disability are disadvantaged beside disabled people in this regard. Their given layout mostly disallows them to enhance skills and their chance to get the job is lower. During the job finding the disabled people encounter on various complications. The complications relate to kind of their disability, education, insufficient know-how from disabled people and from potential employer and also from still persistent prejudices in relation to disabled people. There are still bigger the possibilities to get the job for disabled people. Due to these persistent circumstances of Labour office and non-profit organisations there are the possibilities to get the job for disabled people constantly higher. The conclusion of the task stated that it is not possible to regard the disabled people as a one homogeneous group. Possibilities of Training and Implementation of People with a Visual Impairments on the Labor Market
JÍCHOVÁ, Simona
This thesis deals with problems of professional preparation and employment of visually handicapped persons. Employment of handicapped persons is a general problem. Visually handicapped persons belong to group with the least prospect on labour market but it is concurrently clear that they want to be employed. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused to definition of visually handicapped persons including specificities of their development. The second chapter deals with teaching the visually handicapped persons in primary-, secondary- and tertiary education, with attention paid also to the choice of profession. Conclusion of the theoretical part deals with employment of visually handicapped persons and namely with employment policy. The practical part describes concepts of and expectations from employing the visually handicapped persons, motivation to work, a valuation list of the respondent visually handicapped persons and a role of parents in the choice of profession. Furthermore, it describes accomplishments necessary for job finding gained by the respondent visually handicapped persons, opinions on possible causes of unemployment of visually handicapped persons and supporting mechanisms of employing such persons, utilized by particular respondents. Research was carried out in a form of dialogue with six visually handicapped respondents with handicaps in the range of amblyopia and sightlessness. One of the main goals of this thesis was to monitor study possibilities for visually handicapped persons. The next goal was to find out what were the problems of visually handicapped persons during their studies, what was perceived as obstacles during studies, during the choice of profession or, appropriately, during pursuance of the profession. A problem may be in wrong choice of the school e.g. due to insufficient self-confidence of the handicapped person and low confidence of the family and teachers. Prejudice of the employers is an important and still persisting problem, as well as the lack of job opportunities for visually handicapped persons. In my opinion, the possibilities for employment of visually handicapped persons do improve but there are persisting barriers mainly in the attitudes of intact people and potential employers. They are frequently affected by insufficient information on the support and possibilities of employing persons with visual handicap. The attitude of the nowaday´s society placing emphasis on quickness and quantity plays its role also. With visually handicapped persons it is necessary to build up their self-confidence already since their childhood. Contemporarily, it would be appropriate to enhance the awareness of potential employers, what could be provided by means of media and seminars. Cooperation of intact pupils with visually handicapped ones could be carried out at schools. It would be necessary to perceive the handicap as something common already since the childhood. However, to change thinking of the society may still last long.
Realization of People with Mental Retardation in the Labour Market
PITKOVÁ, Zuzana
My bachelor thesis addresses the problem of finding a working place for mentally handicapped people at the job market in our country. People with a mental handicap represent one of the largest groups among the handicapped. Integration of an individual into the working process not only influences his economic security and social status, but it also has a positive impact on the personal development. However, at our job market, there is a serious lack of adequate working places for people with a mental handicap. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes mental retardation, causes of its development, diagnostics, classification, combination with other kinds of handicaps, special characteristics and needs of these people. Further, it focuses on education and upbringing of the mentally handicapped and on the work issues (importance of work, unemployment, work possibilities for people with a mental handicap, benefits and duties of the employer and a brief characterization of an employee with a mental handicap). In the practical part, I set the goal of hypotheses of my work. The goal of the thesis is to asses the attitude and opinion of employers regarding employment of the mentally handicapped and further if these people are interested in finding work at the job market and if there is a sufficient offer of working positions for them in the South Moravian region. I set two hypotheses. The first hypothesis claims that most of the employers show only a little interest in employing people with a mental handicap. The second hypothesis assumes that it is problematic for the mentally handicap to find work at the labour market. The method I used to collect data was quantitative research. More specifically, I employed the inquiry method {--} the technique of written inquiry with employers in various companies and the technique of standardized questioning with people with a mental handicap. This work should serve as a source of information for wide public and the mentally handicapped in the South Bohemian region (mediate information on the possibilities of finding work for the mentally handicapped people).

Second target group were employees from organizations dealing with supported employment in South Bohemia region. From the results of the thesis is clear that the institutions and organizations are interested in occupational fulfillment of their clients. They are trying to create jobs. But the supply is still insufficient. In connection with this thesis we can set following research questions. 1. In what direction will be a progress in attitudes of our society about the problems of employing people with mental disability in the meaning of financial, legislative and social securing of the problems? 2. Whether the employment of people with mental disability will be a part of companies{\crq} strategy (within company philanthropy)?
