Investing in Business Cycles

This paper considers the problematic of business cycles. The author aggregates historical findings and development of opinions of business cycles. Author also evaluates methods of business cycle measurements with the use of economic indicators, including their analysis and understanding of their logic. Goal of the paper is to find a way to analyze economic cycles for use in asset allocation for portfolio management purposes.
The role of Managed Futures in investment portfolio management

This thesis is focused on Managed Futures, which is one of alternative investment instruments. Even though its popularity in developed countries rises, it is a rarity in Czech financial market. The main intent is to clarify specifications, historical roots, legal framework and other characteristic aspects. Part of the work will be devoted to the analysis of performance, risk, correlation with other investments and the possibility of inclusion in a portfolio of experienced Czech investor.
Stock market strategies

This thesis presents two different types of stock trading for a small investor. First described method focuses on stocks from abroad, where with the help of technical analysis a portfolio is constructed. This portfolio is to be traded with the strategy of pair trading or sometimes also called statistical arbitrage. This method is not very well known, so the thesis gives enough space to explain how the system exactly works. Second strategy puts focus on stocks from Prague Stock Exchange and their trading as dividend stocks. Unlike the first strategy, this one presents the fundamental analysis and longterm investment. The emphasis is in both strategies put on easily managable portfolio and its good revenue.
Actual Problems of the Collective Investment in the Czech Republic

The section of collective investment in Czech Republic registered very dynamic development in last years. The progressive volumes of bussines realized between financial mediator and wide investic public deposes about this fact. But also this section fights with these problems, which can lead to milliards´ exits goods and reflux of investors. The purpose of theoretic part is identification investor with history of collective investment, its development and changes throught this district, eventually in the near future are expecting. Practic part follows to shares funds, formation and their contrast on the basic of fixed criterions. All evalution is completed with indicences of global financial crises, the biggest problem of all world´s economic. This part contains also real procedure, which can potencial investor asserts as suitable investic alternate.
Complete advertising portfolio for medium and small company

In the diploma thesis, I will compound an advertising portfolio for a medium-sized company. This set of materials will be made in a practical implementation and published in supplements of my thesis. All creative and professional work will considerably be liable to requirements of a customer and partly to his taste as well. In acomplishing of the work I will take account of the functional, rather than the artistic aspect of the work, because all the advertising materials are strictly functional. My thesis, especilly the theoretical part, concerns the functional and artistic analysis of methods of work. I will also try to see the issue from the view of the advertising marketing and to weigh up the financial demands of the individual projects. I will also describe (rather than the theoretical principals of the work) my authentic ways of work and reflections in relation to inviolability of my own {\clqq}know-how`` and {\clqq}know-how`` of the particular company. I would also like to mention complications and problems which appeared during the practical aplicaton of the work.
Human Biology teaching portfolio for education subject Biology

The aim of the thesis is to create a teaching portfolio with special attention to the educational content of Human Biology. Instructional manuals are created for teaching natural science at primary school and are focused on selected systems in Biology of the human being, which are: muscle system, breathing system, circulation system, digest system, sensuous system, and a chapter about nourishment. Regarding the present?day School educational programmes the teachers themselves choose the year in which they would teach the educational topics of Biology of the human being. The portfolio is drafted as the methodical aid for teachers and instructional activities for pupils that lead to improvement of teaching methods and better understanding particular terms and relations between the structure and function of human body. The educational portfolio consists of working sheets, practical tasks and tests that help to vary teaching methods and add a lot of matters of interest, physiology experiments and testing to the classical approach to teaching Human Biology.
Forms of the Pupils` Evaluation at Primary and Secondary Schools in the Czech Republic / With Referring to Evaluation Problems of the Pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties/

This diploma work completely deals with problems of the evaluation by a teacher. In the introductory part there are described specifics of the school evaluation, its importance and sense. There is also mentioned a survey of many types, functions of the evaluation and methods, which are mostly being used for the pupils{\crq} evaluation at school. It also discusses an influence of the evaluation on the pupil. It summarizes principles and processes of the pupils{\crq} evaluation, which are established and obligatory for schools in the Czech Republic. It analyzes the problems of basic forms of the evaluation, which are mostly being used at our schools; those are the word evaluation and the classification by marks; and it also describes the portfolio that is a new alternative form of the evaluation. It concentrates on important aspects of pupil{\crq} evaluations, principles, those are important to know and they must be observed. It devotes to an importance of positive and negative evaluations and also to a smart question of the evaluation objectivity. It refers to mistakes which are important to avoid. It points out the importance of individual approach to pupils, especially to pupils with specific learning difficulties. It analyzes the evaluation problems of the pupils with learning disability and it refers to the mistakes that are necessary to remember in the evaluation of pupils with specific learning difficulties.
