Analysis of private and public health care expenditures in the Czech republic

The bachelor thesis deals with health service financing from the point of view of public and private health care expenditures. In the first part of the thesis properties of health service and possibilities of funding are described in detail. Following parts are dedicated to the situation in the Czech Republic -- what forms private and public expenditures, what is the proportion and the trend of the health care expenditures and last but not least the comparison with OECD countries is presented. In the last part of the thesis the analysis of relation between health care expenditures and incomes is outlined.

Health Care Information Systems and Health Care Quality Standards

The thesis is aimed at the quality of health care in the specificmedical facility. The goal of the thesis is to characterize actualsituation of services, which are provided and to find out whether the present information system contribute to increase quality in the medical facility or not. In the first part is defined theoretical knowledge of the quality of medical care and the quality of information systems. This theoretical base is applied in the second part. On the base of data from information system, the indicators by which the quality was evaluated were defined. Used indicators were analysed, compared and consequently evaluated. In the case of ineffective system, which does not contribute to increase the quality of medical facility, there are some recommendation and changes which leads the system to be more effective.

Analysis of American Health Care System with respect to current affairs: Is Universal Health Care a Potential Reality?

The main task of the Thesis is to analyze an American health care system, its management and behavior including its pros and cons. To describe and study the system will help to understand its eventual future progress and to answer a basic question "Is Universal Health Care a Potential Reality in U.S.A.?". With a respect to current affairs, as was the comprehensive health care reform signing, it will be possible to think and forecast relevant course of events that might improve consciousness about American health care delivery. The representative of well behaving health care system is considered that one in United Kingdom - National Health Service - socialized medicine system, which is based on an idea that health care should be available to all, regardless of wealth or income.

Bachelor thesis highlights the importance of the choice of business strategy necessary for the survival of company in the intensification of competitive health care. The specific case study of Biotherapy proves that without a comprehensive and effective marketing approach to the market is impossible to make a long-term successful business today. If the company wants not only to survive but also to thrive, it is essential that the recommendations arising from the theories of management and marketing are kept. Case study evaluated the actual current state of Biotherapy, by analyzing of the competitive environment and SWOT analysis has set targets for year 2010, highlighted the strengths and weaknesses and based on established facts proposed marketing strategy to achieve them. The case study also shows that as the outside world is constantly evolving, so is a continuing need for using modern marketing tools to find new ways to talk and to satisfy customer.
