On syntax of the written reports in the journalistic style

The thesis provides a summary of knowledge about the syntax of reports in the literature and also describes the syntactic phenomenon in the written reports. Study data consists of reports about several important events in the period from January to April 2010. These reports have been written in the serious dailies, the chapter about headlines is partly reflected the tabloid press. In the first part I deal with a comparison of sections of literature devoting to journalistic language. Based on this comparison I conclude that the fundamental differences between the journalistic and linguistic literature lie in the way of giving information about the language and in the manner of distributing this information. The middle part is devoted to syntactic characteristic of the headlines from selected texts of reports. Essentially, I analyze the types of syntactic structures of headlines and the results from my analysis demonstrated that the predominant headlines are single clauses and that there is often a specific structure with a colon. The last section analyzes the construction of written reports and the occurrence of several syntactic phenomenon in the texts of these reports. Web application for planimetry teaching

This thesis was created as a web site for planimetry teaching. It is addressed mainly to high school students and high school teachers. The web site is divided into two main parts. At first it summaries high school planimetry, mostly triangles, quadrangles, sets of points of certain attribute, and then it contains forty construction exercises. Those exercises involve applets of dynamic geometry, which interactively depend on changeable measures of the exercise. One of the parts of the thesis is an overview through present web sites in Czech, in Slovak, in English and in German language. This thesis is an extension of a bachelor thesis from the same author.

1 SUMMARY THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT AND ITS SUBJECT-MATTER JURISDICTION WITH REGARD TO THE CRIME OF AGGRESSION The current course of events concerning the crime of aggression and the search for its definition has undergone a remarkable shift during these days. In the light of the Revision Conference in Kampala, Uganda, whose declared aim was to evaluate the role and the up- to-date operation of the International Criminal Court as well as to find the definition of the crime of aggression and to set up the conditions to exercise the jurisdiction concerning the crime of aggression, the worldwide understanding of the conception of the crime of aggression has been significantly changed . The aim of this paper is to familiarize the reader with the problems regarding the crime of aggression, to describe the evolution of its conception in the field of international law within the last few decades and to provide the reader with a brief outline of some problematic questions which arose from the negotiations of the definition among the states. Evaluation of factors that influence brain drain and potential outflow of future universitz graduates of medicine from the Czech republic

This thesis is focused mainly on the exploration of tendencies of undergraduate medical students to labor migration from the Czech Republic and on factors, that influence their decisions. The theoretical part contains basic knowledge, terms and characteristics, concerning the migration and brain draining in general, followed by a summary of the situation, regarding the Czech doctors and medical students. The practical part describes results of my own research and presents fundamental conclusions, concerning current tendencies and motives of undergraduate medical students to leave the country. A principal conclusion, that the survey brings, is a confirmation of given hypothesis, that the current undergraduate medical students want to go abroad mainly due to higher pay packet abroad. This thesis may have other use e.g. in providing preventive measures related to brain drain or analyzing the impact of this phenomenon on the labor market.

Individual therapeutic physical training in children with defective (imperfect) posture (bearing) at the age of 6 years

This thesis is a summary of contemporary facts about poor and good posture. The objective was to correct the poor posture of the selected children, all six years of age. After analyzing the information from the initial research, corrective exercise was made. Four girls and five boys participated in a special exercise program for 7 ½ weeks. The exercises were focused on the most prevalent of the poor posture symptoms. The poor posture was not fully corrected, but there was an improvement of the primary dysbalanced functions. Comparative analysis of the Czech and Italian legislation of employment and of the relevant legal terminology.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the Czech and Italian regulation of employment relationship and on the basis of this comparison determine to what extent they are similar or different. The thesis is divided into five major chapters, which are consequently divided into a number of smaller subchapters. In the first chapter I deal with the history of labor law and with its legal basis in both countries. The second chapter focuses in detail on individual types of labor relations in the Czech Republic and then in Italy. The third chapter explains the rules related to employment contracts, establishment and termination of employment relationship in these two states. In the fourth chapter, which is the main part of this work, I make a comparison on the basis of the findings with an emphasis on the differences and similarities between both regulations. In the final, fifth, chapter I make an analysis of terminology and then create an Italian-Czech glossary. The thesis is concluded with a summary in Italian language.

Models of the Budgetary Allocation of Taxes and the Tax Autonomy of Territorial Budgets in OECD Countries {--} Possible Implications for Czech Republic

The master´s thesis on the theme Models of the Budgetary Allocation of Taxes and the Tax Autonomy of Territorial Budgets in OECD Countries {--} Possible Implications for Czech Republic deals with the budgetary allocation of taxes in the Czech Republic and OECD countries. Within the literature search, this thesis treats of basic concepts such as fiscal federalism, the budgetary allocation of taxes, tax autonomy and also appropriate recommendations in respect of tax decentralization. The practical part is focused on an analysis of models of the budgetary allocation of taxes in OECD countries and an analysis of models of the budgetary allocation of taxes in the Czech Republic in the years 1993 to 2008. In the analysis, this thesis deals with changes in a model of the budgetary allocation of taxes and the evaluation of these models in respect of theoretical knowledge and recommendations. In the conclusion of the master´s thesis, there is a summary of knowledge obtained and proposed measures to improve the current situation.

The Development of Foundation Agenda for Churches and Parishes in Territory of City České Budějovice and Its Surroundings in 14. and 15. Century

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to explain the method of financing charity and secure funding church institutions situated on the territory of city of České Budějovice in the Middle Ages. The work is divided into six chapters. The first part consists of describing the development of Church administration in Bohemia from beginning of Christianity to the Middle Ages. The second chapter presents the person of parish priest and describes the function of the parish. On this passage follows a treatise of the right of patronage. The theoretical part of this thesis is concluded with a chapter which explains the general financial insurance and patronage support of parishes. The practical part is devoted to the development of foundation agenda in České Budějovice and also brings the structure of rural parishes and parish networks in the vicinity of this city. The work includes the list of used sources, literature and attachments. The annexes include tables containing summary data from municipal book of donation records, the main source of this thesis. It also contains tables relating the occupation the parish benefices by parish priest as well as the photographs of mentioned churches.

Comparative analysis of the Czech and French legislation of employment and of the relevant French legal terminology

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare Czech and French regulation of employment relationship and to analyse its legal terminology. The comparison is based on finding parallels and differences between Czech and French labour law, especially in employment relationship. The thesis is divided into four main chapters with particulars subchapters. In the first chapter I deal with Czech legislation of labour law, its history as well as with employment relationship, especially with its formation, changes and extinction. In second one is focused of the same in French employment legislation. In third chapter I compare the Czech and French regulation of employment relationship. Fourth chapter is given to analysis of legal terminology and on its basis is made French-Czech glossary. The thesis concludes with summary in French language.

The Czech spa as a European phenomenon.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the needs and consumer behavior in spa services to the dominant segments Czech clientele and also predictions of potential behaviors that part of the population that has been in the spa.
