Business Intention of Construction Company focused on Timber Constructions

The thesis includes business intention of construction company in the form of a feasibility study. Planned company deals with the realization of timber-framed buildings that are built by hand directly on the construction site. The introductory part describes basic knowledge of the investment projects planning. One subchapter shortly describes the timber construction system. Parts of the business intention are oriented on corporate strategy, marketing, production technology, manpower, economic a financial analysis and risk management. In conclusion is an overall assessment of the project feasibility.

The aim of the master’s thesis is to analyze potential of methodical approach during construction company evaluation in the period of economical fluctuation. Building industry is the activity that is very sensitive towards market and economy swings. Their impacts significantly influence the attitude towards evaluation and prize in the building industry. Construction companies are affected by economy swings. Therefore, in my master’s thesis, I analyze different approaches towards their evaluation and also methods of the prize determination.
Business Plan - Extension of the Construction Company

The thesis is written in order to composition of business plan for creation of new consultant centre of construction company NOSTA s. r. o. For elaboration were used special methods which properly analyses actual statement and also point out new possibilities for improvement of efficiency of the company. My work deals with the exploration in the field of the motivation of workers to their jobs in firms with building focus. They focus mainly on the valuation of the objectives, motivational tools and rewards. In the practical part are specified hypotheses, which I want on the basis of a questionnaire survey to verify and evaluate. In conclusion, arising from the survey are recommended practices that will lead to more effective motivation of employees in the construction industry.

This thesis deals with coaching as a method of developing managers. The aim of this work is to determine the possibilities of coaching in construction engineering and what is its contribution to the construction companies. The theoretical part deals with definitions of basic concepts and theories associated with the specified topic. Empirical part is devoted to a questionnaire survey. The interviews controll the volidity of the hypothesis. Conclusion focus on the evaluation of empirical part and recommendations for construction companies.
Indirect costs issues in construction company

Indirect costs currently gaining importance, as their share in the overall cost of companies increases. The biggest problem is their allocation and thus projecting them into the prices of construction works. This paper provides the theoretical background to the issue of concepts and classifications of costs and calculation of indirect costs. In the practical part is provided description of the specific construction company, which is composed mainly of ex post calculation of annual costs and a their comparison with the reference contract. In conclusion, it proposes a method based on activity-based costing.
The relationship between the price of the work and the quality of the work in civil engineering

This bachelor thesis deals with relationship between price of work and quality of work in building industry. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of basic terms related to the content of this thesis. One of the aims of the thesis is to identify how quality is perceived and to determine which factors really influence the decision-making process in building and construction tenders. As a result, some conclusions were drawn and recommendations made, based on the answers of questionnaire survey and controlled interviews.
