On the turning of spring steels
Žídek, Jan ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about an analysis of turning of spring steels, focusing on an aplication of higher cutting speed and modern cutting materials. The purpose of the thesis is a realization and assessment of experimental exercises.
Technological design using a CNC lathe
Vlček, Hynek ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the machineng. A theoretical part describes the lathe machines in different periods of human history. Practical part included technology of shaft in angle grinders output of 2 kW. Furthermore, the work develope technological processes for the production with selected machines and tools. Finall part described the production of functional sample on teaching CNC machines.
Regenerative chatter in turning
Sucháček, Roman ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Fiala, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the vibrations produced during turning. Several principles of these vibrations formation are. This includes regenerative principle and the principle of position feedback. Vibrations are caused by the mutual vibration of workpiece and the tool, with the result that occurs corrugated surface of the workpiece, during the first revolution of workpiece, which also regenerates the vibrations. Vibrations are the most affected by the width of the chip and the workpiece speed. Based on measurements and calculations is drawn stability lobe diagram. The diagram determines the maximum width of the chip, or the maximum speed, for which it is possible to cutting ithout any vibrations.
Analysis of appropriate finishing technology after deep drawing
Šobáň, Pavel ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis summarizes information about appropriate finishing technology after deep drawing. The thesis is focused only on the most used and most proper methods, which include material parting operations, such as plate shearing, laser, plasma, water jet and saw cutting, and machining operations, such as lathe-turning and grinding. For each of the mentioned methods, a principle of the selected technology is described and also its suitability for the present problems. The thesis compares the individual methods considering their advantages and disadvantages for removal of uneven edges of cylindrical shells.
Semi Automatic Lathe Machines
Chytil, Jakub ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the background research, description and division of semi-automatic lathe machines. One of the thesis’s tasks is to realize the computational concept of a particular machine component. The beginning of the thesis focuses on the principle of lathe turning, the basic calculations, brief description of lathe blades, the main parts of semi-automatic lathe machines, and kinds of semi-automatic lathe machines. There are described machines of contemporary production with their main parameters and manufacturers in The Czech Republic and in foreign countries further on. The final part of the thesis is addressed to calculation of spindle deformation and optimal distance between the Bearings.
Progressive turning tools
Franc, Aleš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on progressive turning tools. The beginning of the study deals with history and development of turning tolls. Next part deals with the tool geometry. The following description of the different tool materials, construction tools and distribution, analysis of major companies and their catalogs. At the end the procedure of the selection of the tool holder and indexable cutting insert is given.

Solution technology of adjustable V-belt pulley
Láznička, Pavel ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
At the beginning, the thesis contains description of belt drives and balancing of an adjustable belt pulley. The topic of the next chapter is concerned with the evaluation of technological aspects of unit and series production. It is followed by a choice of material, a semi-finished product and a calculation of material consumption. A technological procedure with selection of machine tools and selection of suitable method of production with calculations of a producing time are described afterwards. At the end, the ecological aspects are assessed. The conclusion comprises technological and economic evaluation of production.
FEM for machining simulation
Vojtek, Aleš ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The introduction to turning basics, chip separation process, cutting force generation and description of the finite element method. With this knowledge, a cutting simula-tion of AISI 1045 steel was done for 3 different rake angles, which was simplified by using an orthogonal machining model. The next simulation was cutting of AISI 6150 steel with the use of a 3D model of the grooving insert. The results of these simulations were then compared to the experimental results, and feasibility of finite element method was determined together with future recommendations for acquiring more pre-cise results.
Standard mode of technology in condition of a small firm
