The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe and compare two villages which are located in different nature protection conditions based on chosen aspects of quality of life. Both villages are located in Jindřichův Hradec district the first one in CHKO Třeboňsko (Žíteč) and the second one outside of protected landscape area (Vydří). All findings from literature regarding this issue are summarized in a theoretical part. These are mainly about protected landscape area, quality of life and countryside. Practical part compares objective data of chosen villages and subjective data gained with help of questionnaire focused on residents'opinion about presence of village in a protected landscape area.
Tourism and mechanism of its monitoring in Czechia

The objective of this master's thesis is to examine a detailed summary of the present situation of visitor monitoring methods in large-scale protected areas in Czechia. Methods used in Czechia are introduced on 9 areas. The main research tools used were interviews with 8 key actors and a survey with the head managers of 4 national parks and 25 protected areas. The questionnaire survey was conducted in November and December 2011 and had 100 % return. This thesis presents comprehensive characteristics of the situation in Czechia including levels of monitoring methods. It seems that this study is the first of its kind which has been done in Czechia. Findings show that there is systematic quantitative visitor monitoring in Czech national parks, but that there is not in protected landscape areas. The majority of national park and protected area management do not have a standard certificated methodology for managing counting visitors. This means that their results cannot be compared. To promote better understanding of methods the text includes 22 examples of visitor counting done in chosen European countries and 9 examples from other non-European countries with the goal of summarizing which methods and technologies are available and suitable for use in Czechia. Mountain climbing is a leisure activity being performed mainly in a natural environment. In our country can be found preponderance of convenient places for doing this kind of sport in the Specially Protected Areas. The basic legal regulation governing the performance of climbing in the Czech republic is the Act of Nature and Landscape Protection. This paper investigates opinions of Administration of Protected landscape Areas employees on climbers and on mountain climbing generally. It also investigates possible effects of mountain climbing according to the view of particular employees. For this investigation I have chosen a qualitative strategy of sociological research.

This bachelor’s thesis presents a solution of Adelheid stable situated in Vrchní Orlice, Czech Republic. Village Vrchní Orlice is situated in Bartošovice area in Orlic mountains. The aim of this work is to find a suitable architectural and urban design that would meet the requirements for horse breeding. The plot for the facility is located outside the inhabited area of the village but in a protected area of Orlické hory and the proposal must therefore respect rules and conditions set by this area. Shape and layout of the proposed construction was created in the second year of my studies as a part of the studio of farm buildings course. After the topic was selected for a complex project and bachelor thesis, it was necessary to make some changes in its layout, mass and material. The principle of the proposal was in separation of the designed construction into two parts. The first part was requested by the investor to be an indoor riding arena of size of 20x40m. The second part should allow housing of 10 horses with all necessary conveniences and sanitary facilities for visitors The most important requirement of the design was to create a functional unit considering the significant elevation differences of the terrain of the parcel where the project is planned while not disturbing too much the landscape.
Impact analysis of the protected landscape area on the normal price of single-family houses in Náchod district

This thesis is titled "Analysis of the impact on the protected area of the market value of houses in district Náchod." The first goal is the valuation of five houses. For the valuation will be used three methods: cost method by decree, the comparative method by decree and market comparative method. The second goal will be to find out if the protected area affects the price of real property. For this reason will be made a database of houses in district and then this effect will be evaluated. At the end of this thesis will be observed prices of houses compared and evaluated.
Specifics of Development of Municipalities in Protected Landscape Area Shown on Example of Protected Landscape Area of Jizera Mountains

This bachelor thesis studies a specific situation in municipalities, which lie in The Protected Landscape Area of Jizera Mountains. An answer to the question "Are municipalities influenced by an existence of The Protected Landscape Area in their area?" was searched. In case that they are influenced, is the effect negative or positive? The socio economic analysis and the SWOT analysis are used in this bachelor thesis. There are evaluated data that were gained from questionnaire survey, which was carried out between representatives of the municipalities. The result of the thesis is, that The Protected Landscape Area has an effect on a development of municipalities. This effect is not the only one in researched municipalities. The localization of municipalities in relation to agglomeration of Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou and an accessibility of these cities have a principal influence too. The other development factors determine, whether the effect of The Protected Landscape Area on municipalities is negative or positive.
Quality of life in rural municipalities - study comparing situation within and outside protected areas

The topic of bachelor thesis was comparison of selected aspects quality of life in two villages, located in different conditions from aspect of protection of nature. Specifically is issuing about comparison of village Lomnice nad Lužnicí in PLA Třeboňsko and village Dolní Bukovsko (out of protected landscape area). Thesis has got character of empirical comparison study, combinated quantitative and qualitative accesses of data collecting and analysing. Results from questionnaire investigation are representing satisfaction of the population with quality of life in this locations.
Mapping of scattered vegetation and planting proposal in two areas with different nature and landscape protection

The aim of my thesis is to analyze the scattered vegetation in the two specific areas with different protection of landscape . It was chosen cadastral Zachotín and Škrdlovice, which is in protected landscape area Žďárské Vrchy. Field survey has been detected current state of the scattered vegetation and was made into plotting maps. This work was carried out in an ArcMap 10. Subsequently, both states scattered vegetation evaluated and compared . An integral part of the work is also a proposal planting and additions scattered vegetation in both cadastral areas .
Quality of life in rural communities in protected areas and outside - Sušicko case

The main aim of this thesis was to compare the quality of life in three villages near to the town of Susice. One lying inside the national park Šumava, the latter lying in the protected landscape area Šumava and the third municipality located in the territory without special conservation. The theoretical part consists of facts from the literature on protected areas, especially national park and protected landscape areas and quality of life. The practical part of the objective was to compare the data selected villages a questionnaire aimed at residents view the presence of the village in a conservation area.
Comparison of the potential of rural tourism in protected areas and elsewhere - villages of Zahrádky and Pístina case study

The main goal of the thesis was to compare a potential of rural tourism at two villages in Jindřichohradecko, one is located in a protected landscape area and the other is outside of this region. This task is intended to show the potential, which is affected by different conditions in protections of nature. The theoretical part of this work is not only focused on the rural tourism through a literature review, its forms, evaluation of its potential and benefits as well but also negatives of its development. The practical part assesses the potential of Jindřichohradecko for activities of the rural tourism and particularly analyzes in detail the situation in a village Pístina (lying in the PLA) and Zahrádky by using a descriptive case study, which is situated outside of the area with an enhanced protection of the nature. The thesis includes a questionnaire survey, whose results present an opinion of citizens of the villages on the rural tourism in their villages.
