Annual report on the project FR-TI3/579 in the TIP project in 2013
Staš, Lubomír
A complete methodology for determining the initial stress tensor of convergence measurements on the two profiles perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tunnel was developed and implemented. It was designed and tested algoritmus for optimization that allows to design the location of measurement points in advance on a pair of rails so that measurement errors are eliminated. It was designed a new methodology for measuring convergence, based on the use of a laser beam. Measurements were carried out at the convergence of three different profiles in Dolní Rožná locality.
Slightly generalized regular space decompositions
Kolcun, Alexej
Space decomposition methods represent an important part of numerical modelling process. In many applications it is suitable to use the simplest case of decomposition { regular rectangular grid: the whole raster graphic concept can be seen from this point of view. Dierent raster concept, based on regular hexagonal mesh, is analyzed e.g. in [18]. Generalized task { decomposition of the space to the set of the identical elements have been presented in various research areas since a long time, and it is connected with Hilbert's 18th problem [9], [10].

Sphragis in Parnassius mnemosyne (Lepidoptera: Papilionidae): male-derived insemination plugs loose efficiency with progress of female flight
VLAŠÁNEK, Petr
During study of Parnassius mnemosyne butterfly, we recorded incidence of females bearing or not bearing sphragis, a waxy structure delivered by males during copulation and preventing subsequent inseminations by other males. We observed that 74 out of 579 marked females did not bear sphragis. We recorded five instances of sphragis loss and one female that lost and subsequently re-acquired the structure. A sphragis thus does not represent a reliable indicator of females? mating status in P. mnemosyne.
Posibilities affecting of texture of common carp(Cyprinus carpio)
JOHÁNEK, Martin
The diploma thesis deals with statistical comparison of the textural properties of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) ? (hardness, springiness, cohesiveness, chewiness) were kept during the experiment at store?ponds in Trebon. Carps in each pond were fed with triticale or modified form of triticale (not processed, pressed, crushed, not processed cooked at 120 °C and 100 °C and pressed at 120 °C) and one control pond with fish. After the experiment the fish were killed, and the recovery factor was esteblished. The fillets were obtained from samples of muscle precisely in a defined way, and property values texture by TPA (Texture profile analyst) was found. The results show that all four monitored mechanical properties of textures, reach the highest values of control (hardness: 4,756 kg, springiness: 0.689, cohesiveness: 0.788 and chewiness: 2,585 kg), and the lowest textural properties were observed in triticale, not processed, heat- prepared at 120 °C: hardness: 3,259 kg, springiness: 0.646 and chewiness: 1,579 kg, and cohesiveness was lowest in triticale not processed cooked at 120°C: 0.733. Only samples pressed at 120 °C and not processed triticale were statistically significanty different from the others in parameter of hardness. Triticale pressed at 120 °C were statisticanty different from not processed, pressed triticale and control in parameter of cohesiveness. Triticale samples pressed at 120 °C and not processed at 120 °C significantly were different from the others and triticale pressed from controlwere diferrent too. In springiness parameter, there was no statistically significant difference. Was used significancy level p=0.01.
Skills of students from selected faculties of Charles University for the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse Syndrome
HANUŠOVÁ, Jaroslava
The purpose of this thesis titled ``The competence of students from selected faculties of Charles University to prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) syndrome{\crq}q is to identify the readiness of selected future specialists (final year students specialising in the relative area) to prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) syndrome. In the theoretical part of this work fundamental definitions, as well as terms relevant to Child Sexual Abuse syndrome (CSA), or Child Abuse and Neglect syndrome (CAN) are mentioned. Furthermore, some aspects of epidemiological indicators are presented showing us proof of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) syndrome in common populations and therefore a need to address this problem. In the practical part of this thesis quantitative interviews were used, which were implemented by Computer Aided Web Interviewing (CAWI). The subject group was a convenience sample of 579 students in there final year (2007/2008) of studying. Students from the following faculties participated: Charles University {--} 1., 2., 3. Medical faculty, Medical faculty in Hradec Kralove, Medical faculty in Plzen, Faculty of Law, Pedagogic faculty, faculty of Philosophy and Human resources faculty. Five hundred seventy nine respondents studying in academic year of 2007/2008 on selected faculties of Charles University were contacted. The questionnaire that was used comprised of different parts, in which both closed as well as open-ended type of questions were used. The scale was used in the analyses of the primary outcome measures. The absolute frequency, relative frequency, cumulative frequency, independent chi square, analysis of variance medium and sample standard deviation were determined. Both tables and graphs were used to show the frequencies distribution Based on results a standard of minimal knowledge/training was established based on the results. Recommendations were made as to the means for facilitating functional interdisciplinary collaborations. The recommendations presented in this thesis are fundamental and are intended to be used by University professors at of the above mentioned Universities. The standard includes fundamental terminology and logistics. The ultimate goal of this work is that it be applied, and that new and relevant information be added by specific faculties.
